Chapter 35

Adrian

When my lips touch her soft skin, I inhale deeply.

“Mm, you smell so fucking good.”

She mumbles incoherently.

I lower my lips further down to lick her in a slow and teasing way. The one taste sends me feral, and I lick her repeatedly as I whisper, “You taste so good. I can’t get enough of you.”

She rolls her hips, rubbing her pretty pussy over my face. “Yesss, Adrian.”

I love hearing my name in a breathy moan. My hands grip her thighs as I continue eating her.

“Don’t stop,” she calls out as I lift her legs up on my shoulders to spread her wider.

“Never.” I bring my fingers up to her pussy and slowly enter two fingers inside.

My mouth comes down on her clit, circling it with my tongue in hard circles, and I pump my fingers in and out, slowly at first, and then I go faster.

I’m dying to be inside her, but I want her to be just on the edge like I am, so we can come together.

Peering up at her to find her panting, I curl my fingers along her wall. She whimpers, and it makes my balls tighten as pleasure tingles through me.

“Are you close, baby?”

“Y-Yes,” she groans, as my tongue and fingers continue moving.

“Good.” I release my mouth and slip my fingers out.

Her eyes spring open, and she breathes heavily. “What are you doing?”

“I don’t want that tight pussy coming on my hands tonight. I’m desperate for you to come apart on my dick.”

She nods eagerly as I unhook her legs from my shoulders and put them on the bed. I quickly find my pants on the floor, pull a condom out of my wallet, rip it open, and slip it on.

When I turn back to her, she’s up on her elbows, watching me, her teeth biting into her full bottom lip.

My eyebrow lifts as I pause in front of her. “Like what you see?”

She nods. “Yes, so much.”

“Well, I could say the same about you, beautiful.” I close the distance, climbing on top of her. Just the sight of her heated eyes makes my dick jerk.

She grips my arms, and I guide myself inside her slowly. My pulse quickens as I hold her gaze, wanting to be gentle at first, since this is only our third time together. I want to get to know her body and what she likes.

I move my hips back and forth slowly, before feeling her adjust, so I speed up, not too fast, because we’re both on edge, and I want to enjoy this moment. I’m breathing hard to control myself. Fuck, she feels so perfect.

“You’re incredible.”

She gives me a small smile, but it fades as her eyes roll. “I’m going to come.”

“That’s okay, baby, come all over me. Let me feel it. I want to come at the same time.”

I fuck her harder. And that’s all she needs.

She closes her eyes, tips her head, her back arching as she comes beautifully on me.

Her pussy clamps down, and I keep going, unable to last much longer.

I’m too horny from her edging me that I pause to orgasm too, watching her eyes flutter open.

She gives me a lazy smile as our eyes meet, and I lean over her to kiss her lips. “Don’t move. I just need to clean up.”

Once I’ve cleaned myself off, I head back out, and my mouth curves at seeing she’s already in bed, curled up under my sheets, like she belongs there. The bedside lamp glows over her skin, making her look even more breathtaking. I smile as I step closer and slip in beside her.

She nestles against me, her warmth seeping into my skin as I wrap an arm around her, pulling her close. The scent of her hair, soft and floral, fills my senses.

“This is so nice,” I whisper against her temple, pressing a soft kiss there. “Never thought I needed this… until you.”

She tips her head back, her eyes locking onto mine. “What are you saying?”

I take a slow breath, my heart hammering in my chest. “I love you. I didn’t think I could fall so fast, but you’ve been the biggest surprise of my life.

Not only have I fallen in love with this town, but you.

.. you are the most incredible thing it’s given me.

I’ve never felt lonely when I’m with you. ”

The three words hang between us, and suddenly, I’m terrified.

What if I’ve misread everything? What if the way she looks at me doesn’t mean what I thought it did?

My chest tightens as I watch her, searching for any sign of what she’s thinking.

I’m about to backtrack, to laugh it off somehow, when a slow smile spreads across her lips, and she reaches up, brushing her fingers along my jaw.

“I love you too.” She smiles. “I never thought I needed anyone. But then you showed up, and everything changed. I’ve never clicked with someone so effortlessly, never enjoyed someone’s company the way I do with you.

You helped me, even without realizing it.

Just by being here, believing in me, you pulled me out of the rut I was stuck in.

You made me see that life isn’t just about responsibility.

It’s about actually living. I feel like my future is something to look forward to. Because I have you.”

I hold her even tighter, my throat tightening with raw emotion. “So, what are we thinking for us?”

“Well, we’re definitely a couple, that’s for sure. I guess we take it day by day,” she says softly, holding my gaze.

“My house will be ready soon, so that’ll make things easier. And now that your mom’s doing better, you could stay at my place more often.”

Her eyes brighten as we stare into each other’s eyes. “I’d like that.”

“You know,” I say, tracing her bottom lip with my finger. “When I first looked at that house, I pictured us sitting on the deck, having our morning coffee together. But honestly, I can picture you in the house with me.”

“Really?”

I nod. “Yeah. I could just see us there, talking, laughing. It felt right.” My chest softens as my heart swells, and I continue rambling. “It’ll be nice. Just you and me.”

I lean in and kiss her, pressing my lips to hers tenderly. Then whisper against her, “Are you able to stay the night?”

“Will Keith mind?”

I smile, brushing a strand of hair from her face. “We’re two consenting adults, beautiful. We don’t need permission, but I’m happy to text and ask him. But honestly? I don’t want to let you go tonight.”

She relaxes even further against me. “I don’t want to go either.”

I press another kiss to her temple, pulling her closer. “Then don’t. Stay here with me.”

She lets out a little laugh, the kind that makes my heart stutter. “So needy.”

“I am,” I admit without shame. “And I don’t care anymore.”

I wake the next morning to find her still in my arms. For the past half hour, I’ve just been lying here, listening to the steady rhythm of her breathing. I don’t think I’ve ever woken up this content.

I’m scrolling on my phone when she stirs. Her lashes flutter open, and I smile down at her. “Morning, beautiful.”

She stretches lazily, her lips curving up. “Morning. You’re smiling pretty big.”

“There’s an article about us this morning,” I tell her. “For once, it’s actually a good one.”

“Really?”

I show her the screen. There’s a photo of us from last night holding hands, smiling. The picture mirrors exactly how I feel when I’m with her.

She scans the article, giggling when she sees a familiar name. “Russell even made it in?”

“Apparently, his silent approval was newsworthy.”

“Well,” she teases, nudging me. “Guess we won’t be gossip material for much longer. We’ll be too boring.”

I kiss her forehead. “Doubtful.”

I sit up reluctantly, already missing the warmth of her body against mine. I stretch before swinging my legs over the side of the bed. “Let me make you some coffee.”

She hums with approval. “I might give my mom a quick call to check in on her.”

“Good idea. Meet me in the kitchen?”

“Sure.”

I kiss her before pulling on some clothes, walking through the house, and stepping out onto the deck. Keith’s already sipping his coffee, the early morning sun seeping through the curtains. It’s peaceful. But the thought of sharing mornings like this with her in my own place will be better.

“Need some more coffee?” I ask, knowing I fell asleep before I could text him about Amelia staying over.

He nods. “Sure.”

As I move back inside, I hesitate before adding, “Amelia stayed the night.”

Keith glances up, a grin tugging at his lips. “No problem. Am I in your way?”

I shake my head. “Not at all.”

His smile widens. “I’m happy for you.”

“Thanks.” I move to pour two cups of coffee, waiting for Amelia to join me, and I realize something. Everything in my life feels just right.
