Chapter 12 External Challenges
Riley’s internship had become increasingly demanding as the weeks passed.
The pressure from work, combined with the intense dynamic at home, began to create real challenges.
He found it harder to separate his two worlds — the professional, put-together intern by day, and the completely submissive doll by night and whenever his owners desired.
One particularly stressful week, Riley came home exhausted after a long day of presentations and tight deadlines.
His mind was still racing with work concerns when he walked through the door.
Almost immediately, Kane pulled him into a free-use encounter in the hallway, bending him over and taking him hard against the wall.
Riley tried to stay in doll mode, but the mental exhaustion made it difficult to fully let go.
The secret was becoming harder to maintain.
His colleagues had started noticing how tired he looked and how often he seemed distracted.
One coworker even asked if everything was okay at home.
Riley smiled politely and lied, saying he was just busy with the internship.
But inside, the weight of hiding such a significant part of his life was becoming heavy.
The outside pressure tested him in other ways too.
His family called more frequently, asking about his living situation and when they could visit.
Riley panicked at the thought of them coming to the house.
How could he explain the collar marks, the lingerie hidden in his room, or the way he instinctively lowered his eyes when the alphas spoke to him?
One evening, after a particularly difficult day, Riley broke down during a session.
He remained in position as instructed, but silent tears ran down his face.
The alphas noticed immediately and transitioned into aftercare, holding him close while he confessed how hard it was to keep their dynamic a secret from the outside world.
The external challenges were real, but they also strengthened Riley’s reliance on his owners.
The contrast between the stressful, judgmental outside world and the safe, controlled environment at home made him appreciate their dominance even more.
But maintaining the secret while fully surrendering at home was becoming one of the biggest tests of his submission yet.
The alphas took Riley’s struggles seriously. Instead of only using commands for pleasure and control, they began integrating supportive, caring commands into his daily life to help him manage the outside pressure.
Damien started giving him structured morning routines with clear instructions. “Make breakfast exactly as I showed you. Then kneel for five minutes before leaving for work. This will help quiet your mind.” The simple, caring structure helped Riley start his day with a sense of calm and ownership.
Kane took charge of helping him unwind after work.
He would command Riley to change into comfortable lingerie the moment he walked through the door, then order him to kneel or lie across his lap while Kane massaged his shoulders and back.
“Let it all go,” Kane would say firmly. “Work stays outside. Here, you’re just our doll. ”
Lex added playful but supportive elements.
He created “reset commands” — short, simple tasks Riley could do when he felt overwhelmed.
“Go to your spot and hold position until I say otherwise.” These moments gave Riley a way to escape the stress of the outside world and return to the peaceful doll headspace he craved.
The supportive commands helped tremendously.
Riley learned to rely on their dominance not just for pleasure, but as a grounding force in his life.
When work pressure became too much, one of them would notice and give him a command that brought him back to center.
The combination of firm control and caring support made the external challenges more manageable.
As the days passed, Riley felt more balanced.
The alphas had found a way to use their dominance to help him cope with the real world while keeping their dynamic strong and loving.
The supportive integration of commands strengthened their bond even further, showing Riley that they cared about his well-being as much as his submission.
He was their doll, but he was also their responsibility — and they took that role seriously.
