Epilogue #3
He holds still for a beat, forehead pressed to mine, his breath ragged. “You feel like home,” he groans, pulling back only to drive into me again.
Our bodies move together, every thrust deeper, harder, pushing me higher. My nails rake down his back, the ring glinting in the lamplight, a flash of our promise in every movement. He whispers against my mouth, dirty words and sweet vows blurring together until I can’t tell the difference anymore.
When I come again, it’s with his name torn from my throat, my body clenching around him. He follows, driving deep one last time, his release hot and overwhelming.
He collapses against me, both of us breathless, slick with sweat, hearts pounding in sync. His arm wraps tight around me, as if he’ll never let go.
Through the open window, the vineyard lies dark under the stars. I lift my hand, the ring catching moonlight, proof that tonight isn’t a dream.
Kingston kisses the damp hair at my temple. “You’re mine now. Forever.”
I smile into his chest, tears burning my eyes, and whisper, “Always.”
Thank you for spending time with Kingston and Elise.
