Dragon's Guarded Dream
Prologue
Liza
Four Years Ago
Disguisting, that is how I feel. My body is sore and I feel like I need to scrub myself raw in the shower.
I really just wish that he would finish and get the hell away from me.
My life for the last year has been horrible.
I have been stuck in this house I don’t know, with a man I thought I knew and thought was someone I could’ve trusted.
I haven’t seen my family or anyone I love in a year and I’m beginning to wonder if they are even looking for me.
He tells me they aren’t, he tells me that everyone thinks that I went away to school.
How they figure I left home at sixteen and went away to school is beyond me.
When he picked me up that day when I had run out of the diner in tears because I found my boyfriend of a year fucking a waitress in the back, I thought he was just going to take me back home.
He didn’t, before I knew where we were headed he stuck me with a needle and when I woke up I was chained to a bed in a room with no windows.
That was the first night he raped me. Now I have been his prisoner for a year and I have apparently been ‘a good little girl’ where he moved me to a room that had windows and I have access to a couple of rooms in the house when he is here.
Usually when he leaves I get locked in my room and he makes sure that the window in my room is also locked from the outside.
“Yes, baby girl. You feel so fucking great! I love how you light up for me.”
I don’t know what the fuck he is talking about.
It hurts, I am in no way aroused. I have stopped struggling against him because he has beat me every single time I tried to fight back.
Now he just chains my legs and arms to the bed posts while he gets off.
I feel like I’m being torn open every single fucking time he comes in here and makes me strip out of my clothes.
A year. A fucking year. At least, that’s what he tells me.
I don’t know what day it is, I don’t know how many months have gone by, all I do know is that the second he messes up I am running.
I don’t know where to go, but I know I can’t go home.
I have heard a lot of shit being here. I know that he’s into some shit and the club will have to take care of it slowly and overtime.
They will have to dig and find the root and I know that even if this asshole kidnapped me, raped me repeatedly, they are going to need to use him to figure out where everything went wrong.
I just need to get away. I don’t know how much more of this I can take.
I feel a smack on my ass and then I feel his hand go up and pull my hair forcefully.
“You’re my dirty little slut. My bitch. I own you. No one cares about you like I do.”
After what feels like forever he finally pulls out of me and bends down taking off my leg cuffs that are attached to the bed and undoes the handcuffs he chose to use today. He then pulls me up by the hair and looks at me.
“Was that good for you? You seem to have stopped fighting it, baby. So I know that you are starting to feel what I feel too. We are meant to be. The sooner you stop being fucking stubborn and realize that the sooner we can move on with our lives. You will be able to see your family again someday.
But until then you need to realize I am the only one that cares about you. Now be a good little girl and tell me you love me.”
I just stare at him in his eyes, not blinking.
“TELL ME!!”
When I didn’t answer again he backhanded me and when I fell to the ground he climbed on top of me and hit me until everything went black.
When I finally woke up I noticed it was dark outside and when turned and looked at the door it was wide open.
I picked myself up off the floor, struggling as I did and grabbed pants and a shirt that was left on the floor.
I then slowly headed towards the door, I listened to see if I could hear any noises and the house was also silent.
So I crept out the door making sure to be quiet in case he was in the house.
He’s never left the door open before if he was out of the house.
I’ve never even been able to go through most of the house without him following me.
I got towards what looked like a living room and still I wasn’t sure if he was here or if he had forgotten to close the door thinking I wouldn’t get out.
I don’t know if he thought that he broke me so much that I wouldn’t run.
But I’m not going to sit around and wait.
What more can this man do to me, sometimes I have thought if he kills me it might be better because I won’t have to deal with the torture anymore.
As soon as I noticed the main rooms were empty I walked towards the back door, it didn’t have any extra locks on it and I know that he doesn’t have an alarm system, at least none that I have seen.
So I click open the locks and open the door quietly.
Once I see the outside I make a break for it and run as fast as I can.
I don’t believe we are near the clubhouse and I don’t know how close we are to town, but I am going to run til I find somewhere to use a phone.
I need to get as far away from here as possible.
Finally with my feet cut open and bleeding I make it into an area that has little shops and it looks like an all night diner.
I decide that might be my safest option to head into right now.
I walk inside and as soon as the bell rings on the door I jump.
No one really looks at me, but the waitress behind the counter.
“Hello, sweetheart. Are you okay?”
I walk up to the counter and look at her.
“Do you have a phone I can use please?”
“Do you need me to call the police?”
I start shaking my head violently, “No please, I just need the phone.”
I look over my shoulders and look around the diner and people are looking at me, but no one I recognize is here.
“Okay, how bout you come back to the office and you can use the phone?”
I nod my head and follow her back down the hallway. Once we get to a room she opens the door and points to where the phone is.
“I’ll leave you be for a little while. I’m going to get you some water and maybe a burger? Does that sound good?”
“Yes please.”
She walks out of the room and I pick up the phone to dial one number I have memorized and I know the one man that can help hide me.
“Hello?”
“Glitch?”
I hear an inhale of breath and his voice cracks, “Liza?”
“Yeah, it’s me. Are you alone?”
“I’m in my room, yeah? But I should get your family, they have been worried about you.”
My heart starts beating fast, “NO! Please no, I just want to talk to you. But before I go into everything, is Vandal at the clubhouse?”
I hear clicking on a computer board and then “Yeah looks like he’s in the main room. Why? What is going on Liza? You’ve been gone for a year. No one has been able to get in touch with you.”
“I can explain everything, but can you meet me at this diner outside of town? It’s called Chasing Sunrise. But please, please don’t tell anyone you’ve heard from me or where you’re going.”
“I’ll be there in fifteen minutes. Are you safe?”
“I think so.”
The waitress brought me a burger, fries and water telling me I was safe to stay in the office until my friend got here.
What felt like an hour later there was a knock on the door and when it opened there was Glitch.
I stood up from the chair and ran into his arms.
He’s always been like a big brother to me, despite what feels like a million big brothers I really do have.
“Fuck Liza! What’s going on? We’ve all been fucking worried. You need to come home. I know you didn’t want me to tell anybody anything, but your family is fucking worried.”
“I can’t come home, I’ll explain everything and I need you to promise me to won’t tell anyone, please.”
I don’t know what he saw in my face, but he agreed to what I had asked him.
I know that if anyone could keep me safe and hidden it’s Glitch.
So I go through the story of everything that has happened.
From finding out my boyfriend Ridge was cheating on me and how I ran out of that restaurant crying when I found them together.
How Vandal picked me up and knocked me unconscious brought me somewhere and everything that happened during my time there.
Everything I heard when I was there that would affect the club.
The more that spilled out of my mouth, the angrier he appeared.
When I finally finished he looked like he was ready to murder anyone who got in his way.
“Liza, I have to tell them you know this. I can hide you, that is not a problem, but there are going to be people who need to know. We are going to have to do a deep dive into all this and look into how deep it goes and who all in the club is in on whatever he is into.
I’m so sorry you went through all this.”
“I just want to get out of here. I don’t want him to find me or the people that he was working with. Once he figures out I’m gone, I’m going to be in more danger because I don’t think he knows what all I’ve heard.”
“Here’s what’s going to happen. I’m going to take you across the country. We have an allied club in Virginia. If anything happens to you or if you feel like you’re in danger it will be safe for you to go to them. I’m going to get you set up with a phone under my name, a house over there.
We are going to enroll you in school. I’m going to transfer shit to an account that you will have access to. I will be primary and make you secondary, but a hidden secondary so no one will find your name associated with it. You are going to let me do all this for you.
You are not going to object to anything. You will stay in contact with me. I will need to know you are okay. Then once we get you settled, I’m telling your family and the brothers at the club I trust. We will work from there.
Once we get all this taken care of you will come home and you will not have to worry about anyone ever hurting you again.”
And that is how my life in Richmond, Virginia started.
Far away from my former life. Far away from family.
I thought everything would calm down, but two months after Glitch brought me there a little test told me I was going to be a mom.
I decided then that even if they were conceived in a terrible way, I would never let that touch them.
I lived for them and I wanted them to have a beautiful life. So that was what I set out to do.
