Dreams of a Dark Fairytale

Ronnie Summers arrives at Mackenzie's office sleepless, still carrying a mistake she made in Italy years ago.

She wants the guilt to ease, and she needs him to look into the woman she shot, a presence that already returns to Mackenzie in his dreams.

At the same time, trouble is brewing with one of the teachers at Kix's preschool, and Mackenzie is hired to investigate.

An old shooting and a problem at the school now sit on his desk together.

Neither matter is likely to let him rest.
