15. Chapter Fifteen
Chapter Fifteen
Beatrice
The voice filling my head spoke in perfect English. Emotion clogged my circulation, sending my heart into a stutter. It wasn’t Cthulhu, or any other of these gods, speaking to me.
This time, it was all Noah.
Great Lake Ontario.
Captain Noah Visser’s familiar inflection sobered me for only a moment. On the next beat,
I was lost in the feverish lust smashing over me like a tidal wave.
As he rose from the pool, water streamed through the grooves of his abs and corded adonis belt in thick rivulets. Steam rolled from his ocean-cold skin the moment he entered the sweltering atmosphere.
With mindless desire, I pulled my arousal-soaked fingers from my pussy, only to spread my folds in invitation.
His nostrils flexed with his inhale, and the tentacles sitting low on his abdomen peeled back to reveal his erect cock. It dripped with the unique lubricant his body produced. The substance was so thick and creamy I could barely make out his chain and anchor tattoo wrapping his shaft.
"I'm sorry for this." His primal growl spilled into my mind and I wasn't sure what he was talking about.
Sorry for putting on the mask? Sorry for stuffing me full of alien eggs like I was some heroine in a pervy monster book?
Sorry for leaving me to believe he was dead? Or sorry for what he was about to do?
It didn't matter.
I'd forgiven him for all of it and more.
"I'm not sure what's happening. I'm... I'm so..."
My words trailed off. I didn't need to finish the thought. He had to know what I was getting at. This wasn't just some lusty-state driven by the fact that a virile sea monster was striding toward me, literally steamy hot and oozing with need. It was like I'd slipped into a heat state.
The appendages hanging from his face to create a tentacle-like beard seemed to writhe with contemplation. “The eggs. I think they're still covered in this…” He swiped a black claw down his shaft and rubbed the pre-cum-like lubricant between his fingers. “Aphrodisiac.”
I gave a sloppy nod in agreement. It made sense. Why else would I be as pent up as one of those busty-elf maidens like in a horny internet monster porno. Dizzy with lust and so wet with arousal it defied space and time.
Cosmically horny? Was that a thing?
At the laugh of my companion in my head, I realized he could hear my every thought.
Fuck.
Have some decorum, Bea, I scolded myself. Christ.
Using every shred of willpower still in my possession, I shut my legs and started to pull the hem of my shirt down. "We should go back to the boat—"
"Open your legs, mate." Noah's command came out crystal clear in my head. Like magic, they opened. It wasn't just because I wanted him to the point where inhibitions were pretty much extinct, but because my body obeyed him without caring what I wanted.
It was some kind of mind control.
“Noah, what—oh fuck.”
In a blink's worth of time, the mutant captain was on his knees between the spread crux of my thighs with his shaft gripped in his huge hand.
He paused for a second, long enough for my brain to catch up. Then he pushed himself inside, filling me so full, my mouth parted on a delirious moan.
The bestial need to allow him to fill me with cock, cum, eggs—whatever he wanted—pushed all other coherent thoughts and worries from my mind. There wasn’t room for anything else.
So fucking full…
Noah’s strong arms looped over my head, caging me in his protective embrace. It was almost like he was trying to shield me from the statues looking down on us.
He pumped into me, his rhythm slow at first, as if he enjoyed feeling the eggs shift around inside me. They rocked against my cervix, and pressed into a particularly sensitive spot that had cosmic stars speckling my vision with every thrust.
My orgasm slammed home fast and violently. My spine arched and my hips undulated, matching his motions to maximize the friction.
Delicious and dangerously addictive.
There was no time to bask in the afterglow of my release.
Noah was right there, thrusting home inside me like an entire civilization depended on it.
His muscles rippled and quivered beneath his steaming green flesh.
Veins covering his arms and shoulders bulged and pulsated.
His five-eyed unblinking gaze burned into me, and I knew every time I closed my eyes for nights to come, I’d see him peering at me in the darkness.
He released his scalding load with a psychic groan that melted my marrow and turned my bones into jelly.
When he eased out of me with a wet, hot jet of fluid oozed out and I found myself sitting in a slurry of tentacle lubricant and cum.
“Push for me. It’s time to get these out of you.”
My lips parted with a soundless gasp as he caressed the slight bulge in my belly. Applying pressure, bit by bit, his palm bore down as I did as told and squeezed. Then… plop!
“That’s my good fucking girl. We’re not done yet, though.”
No, of course not. That was only the first egg.
How fucked was it that I almost wished there were more, just to tease this out?
For the first time since we found the mask, my mind relaxed.
All the frantic questions were thrust to the back of my brain, replaced with the overwhelming desire to feel that lewd sensation deep inside as the alien eggs pushed through my walls and forced my body to flutter and spread to allow them passage.
My pelvic muscles throbbed with one final push and a sickening splat echoed through the chamber as the last gooey-spheres plopped into Noah’s awaiting hand.
“I think I know what we need to do,” I said, panting.
I stretched my arms out to him and pulled myself closer to him. On either side of his tentacled face, I held him. In those five terrible alien eyes, past the deep darkness, I saw my Noah.
And as much as part of me liked this version of him, I missed the captain I’d come to know and love long before he ever had tentacles.
“Come on, cap’n. Let’s get you undressed.”
He tensed at my words, but before he could pull away, my fingers were prying at the gill-like slits I’d noticed beneath his jawline. It was right where the edge of the mask had sat when he’d first donned the other-wordly artifact.
The thing felt like living stone, hot and throbbing, as if it had its own pulse. I pulled hard, managing to gain purchase as the lip of the mask separated from his skin.
A quiet rumble rippled through the cave.
It was working!
The gap between his jaw and the mask grew, and the space between sputtered and choked.
Great Mariana Trench. The mask was more like a parasite than anything else, it seemed. It held onto its host for dear life.
The split opened further, the air sucking sharply under the space between the artifact. Like a wet seal popping.
Before it could snap closed, Noah shoved both sets of claws in. The writhing, alien muscles all in a spasm.
Screaming inside my mind split my ears, so loud at first I thought my eardrums had burst. Pain sparked through my skull and down my spine
I wanted to hold my hands over my ears but I could barely move.
The air was thick and gooey like molasses, clogging in my lungs and making the simple act of breathing a feat.
Through the deafening eldritch squalls, the sound of cracking stone added to the symphony of chaos.
Peering at Noah, the gaping hole in the side of his head was widening, and I could see a glimpse of human skin tone.
One of the statues—the one with the genitalia just like Noah’s—cleaved in two. Like a savage earthquake had split it asunder to reveal its strange innards. Warm, pulsating organs.
These statues weren’t statues at all.
They were living relics.
Suddenly, even through the screaming, I understood. Like the stars were aligning in my mind’s eye and clarity was all mine.
This was Cthulhu's likeness, minus his face. And inside, that’s where the eggs were supposed to go.
The mask was unnaturally stretched away from the undulating mass of Noah’s alien body. It looked like a dislocated eyeball, attached only by a taut retina—as gross as it was fascinating.
With one last tug away from his body, Noah snapped the mask loose. His body seemed to tear itself apart, green flesh unraveling and shrinking.
Leaving Noah as I remembered him. Mostly.
Immediately, everything was silent.
There was my captain, standing there in the buff with the mask held before him in his outstretched hand.
While he had returned to his old appearance for the most part, his two eyes were still aglow with that intense golden fire.
The eldritch tattoos collaring his throat—which I was almost certain had protected him from being consumed entirely—were also glowing.
The transformation left his body in the same muscular shape it was as a monster, minus the green.
It was like the same Noah with more bulk.
His heart, it was like his heartbeat and his voice were one and the same.
In his other hand, he still held the small ovoids, glistening in the dim firelight of his body.
The statue started to hiss.
Noah didn’t hesitate to stand between me and it, the eggs in one hand and the mask in his other.
As he approached the stone, the huge fissure in the rock expanded. Eager for the eggs.
The water at the center of the room hissed and boiled, sending clouds of foul-smelling steam into the air.
Instead of rock, inside the opening was definitely something terrible and organic. It was rank with the scent of decay and something else hot and chemical. At the apex of where the two walls of alien meat met at the bottom. Was that… A pussy?
Well.
We knew what that opening was for.
The completion of this ritual meant throwing the eggs in.
Then, from there, would a race of monsters emerge? Would the dark gods awaken?
“This is the end,” Noah said grimly. “This is what he wants. Once Cthulhu rises, he’ll herald in the rest. Humans won’t stand a chance.”
We shared a moment of tense silence, realizing something was wrong.
Noah dropped them. They noiselessly fell in.
My jaw dropped.
I shook my head hard, “No fucking way. I didn’t become a marine biologist to end the world. This isn’t why we came out here.”
Noah smirked, holding the mask in his hand. As he did, the gash in the earth closed, making shrinking, hissing noises as it did until coming to complete silence. The only sound now was the still boiling water at the center of the room. It now shed a dim green light.
“The only part they need now is the mask. The face of the effigy, the face of a god.”
“Noah…” My gut flipped.
I didn’t want to surrender the mask.
He turned to me, locking eyes. They glowed warmly. “So let’s never do that. Finders keepers, and all that.”
I blinked.
“Noah. You’re such a tease.”
I took his hand and he effortlessly pulled me to my feet. He seemed stronger than before.
“Do you think anything will happen to those eggs?” I asked as we left the cave, the dark glow dimming behind us.
“Not if that fissure doesn’t let in any other cultists.” He said, holding up the mask.
I nodded in understanding at him, giving the moment air to breathe.
“That’s what she said.” I concluded, even though the joke didn’t really work.
He snorted, his smile stretching ear to ear.
Ahead of us, a more familiar light source came into view. The spotlight on the bow of the Clamburgler.
Waiting for us.
Home.
I realized in that moment that I didn’t want to go back to land. Not anytime in this eternity, or the next.
I wanted to search for the rest of those masks. Not for Cthulhu's purposes. Just because they’d make a killer addition to my monster toy collection.
As if reading my mind, Noah threw his arms around me and pulled me in for a kiss I felt down to my toes.
“We should still find the other thirteen masks. You know, for science.”
I grinned, catching the mischievous bend in his ocean-deep timbre. “Oh yeah. Totally for science.”
