Chapter 4

Chapter

Four

Hell nah, we ain’t on the same muthfuckin’ page. Fuckin’ wet pussy having ass.

Norie was still pissed about the shit Evie said to him last week at the Drill he couldn’t resist her.

Seeing her at the Drill & Spank, with her fuck buddies, had triggered him.

And not because she was getting fucked, but because Norie could tell that they wanted more from her than the occasional fuck.

Norie could tell that both of them had caught feelings for her by their energy and the way they looked at and fucked her.

He also peeped that Greg ain’t even look at his own damn wife the way he looked at Evie.

And that shit bothered him because he felt like Evie hadn’t peeped their bullshit just yet because emotionally, she was all over the place.

He could already see by the way the nigga stared at Evie with hearts in his fuckin’ eyes that in the very near future, either Greg or both him and his wife were going to want to get serious, and Norie had a problem with that shit.

It was that realization that caused him to spaz the fuck out and nearly beat Greg’s ass.

Well, that and the way Evie had taken up for and defended them that night.

Norie wondered if they were currently in a secret relationship or might’ve indulged in one in the past. That shit was hard to watch.

And just the possibility of the shit being true left him feeling broken in ways he didn’t even want to think about.

And that’s what left him wondering if he still knew Evie as well as he once did.

While he knew that the hopeless romantic in her who loved love still wanted her happily ever after one day, he just didn’t know if or how much of her version of it had changed.

And that’s exactly why Norie fucked her like he did at the Drill and Spank.

He’d wanted to fuck her head up to the point that he was the only man on her mind.

And while he knew it was wrong, Norie didn’t care about morals.

He wasn’t trying to see her give any nigga or bitch a real chance but him.

Only problem was, Nori wasn’t expecting the shit he did to backfire.

He’d forgotten just how loudly her body could call his name when he wasn’t around.

It was the most highly erotic shit he’d ever experienced in his life.

And despite his issue with her, Norie was still very much in love with Evie, and she’d always had a hold on him like no other.

Which is exactly why the fuck he kept his gotdamn distance over the years and why he should’ve remembered that falling back up in her dangerously addictive pussy was going to reignite his little unhinged personality trait.

He already knew that he was about to be out here wildiin’ and stepping hard and mighty behind the woman who owned his heart. And every inch of his body.

Norie had rubbed endless nuts out while thinking about her over the years and even called a few of his fuckoffs Evie’s name, so he already knew what the fuck he was dealing with, yet somewhere along the way, he’d grossly underestimated the strength of his resistance to her.

Even though he knew he had no right to fuck with her the way he had, sabotage several of her dates, or keep tabs on the niggas in her life from time to time, and that the shit was selfish as fuck, he just didn’t care.

Shaking off all thoughts of Evie for the moment, especially the one that kept telling him to beat off to her for what would be the third time today, Norie pushed back from his desk and decided to go grab lunch before he tried to tackle inventory again and all the other tasks he had to handle before he closed this evening.

Exiting his office, he was just about to check in with his manager and his other two employees on where they were on their duties list for the day and get their lunch orders when his cousin Preach walked into the store.

Preach was 5’12 and built like a linebacker.

His presence was very intimidating for anyone who didn’t know him.

But because he kept his curly ass shoulder-length hair in braids and he strongly favored actor Michael Ealy in the face and had charisma and charm up the ass, the women flocked to him in droves.

Preach was a solid dude and wouldn’t hesitate to tell those close to him that they were wrong if they needed to hear it. Which is how he got his nickname.

“Wassup Preach, was good, bruh?” Norie asked as they shared a brotherly embrace.

“Nigga, that’s what I’m tryin’ to find the fuck out.

Why my manager Jazzi just told me that you was in my club last night, ‘bout to put one of my best clients on his back, Norie? I love you nigga, but you better have a damn good reason for potentially fucking up my money, bro.” Preach said as he began searching the walls and display stands for a pair of black-and-red kicks.

Norie chuckled as he pulled at his beard and pulled his phone from his pocket to open a text that just came through.

I want some dick, Norie. What time can I come thru?

“Aye, that nigga raised up at me. I was just bout to give his ass what the fuck he wanted,” Norie explained as he typed out a response to the text.

You can’t. Find another nigga to dick you down. I’m straight.

“Norie, you know that ain’t the whole story nigga.

I saw the video. You know certain words and fights trigger my cameras.

Anybody paying attention to Greg’s interactions with Evie can see that that nigga is in love with her.

And lowkey, so is Nia. But Norie, bro, you outta pocket, nigga, and you know it.

We both know that I ain’t got no problems restricting yo ass to private rooms only and shit, but that’s not the fuckin’ issue here.

” Preach told him as he took a seat on the bench by the shoes and asked one of Norie’s employees for a few of the shoes he’d picked out in his size.

“You know I’mma always hit you wit’ the real nigga, and the real is that you need to get out ya fucking feelings and go get ya woman before another nigga snatch her ass right the fuck up out yo’ grasp.

Now, I ain’t saying that that nigga is Greg, but you need to tighten yo’ shit up. ”

“Yea man, I hear you, but I’on agree wit’ the way?—”

“Nah bro, ain’t no butts. You know I’mma always stand ten toes down for you and Shon.

We got the bond we have ‘cause we tell each other the real. We don’t soften shit up to keep from telling the other what needs to be heard.

So, here it is, Norie. Forgive that girl ‘cause truth be told, she ain’t do shit that we wouldn’t have done for each other.

And then go sit yo’ grown ass on somebody's couch and talk this shit out. Find out why shit is still affecting you all these years later. And why it triggered you in the first place. Hell, tell Evie and consider taking her ass with you so you only have to explain the shit once. Or leave her the fuck alone. ‘Cus real talk nigga, she don’t deserve you playing wit’ her feelings when you know she’s in love wit’ you. ”

“A’ight nigga fine,” Norie rubbed his chin as his thoughts raced. “I hear you. I’ll get my shit together.”

“‘Bout damn time,” Preach stood as he shook his head, then grabbed the two pairs of shoes he wanted and headed toward the register. “Now come ring me up so I can go do damage control for my club.”

“Aye Preach, you ain’t gotta keep talking ‘bout the shit nigga. I get it. I fucked up.” Norie went to the checkout counter to ring Preach up. “Imma fix it.”

“Shit, the fuck I don’t. imma keep talking ‘bout the shit ‘til you come correct. And while we’re still on the subject, yo’ ass is banned from Drill & Spank for three weeks. I feel like that’ll be more effective than just locking you in luxury private rooms.”

“Preach, nigga don’t play wit’ me. I need the club to help me think and sort out my thoughts and shit,” Norie explained as he rang Preach up under his family’s discount code. “And three weeks is fucking disrespectful.”

“Shit, you know I ain’t playing, nigga,” Preach chuckled as he handed over his credit card. “Yea, three weeks just might be a lil disrespectful, but I coulda been extremely disrespectful and said a month.”

“Preach,” Norie mugged his cousin. “You?—”

“Nah, this is for ya own good. Fix shit wit’ Evie, and ya ass can come back tomorrow. Otherwise, don’t fucking bitch about it. Love you, boi. I’m out.” Preach grabbed his bag and pumped a fist with Norie.

“Yea, love ya ignorant ass too, nigga.”

Preach smirked as he approached the exit. After opening the door for a group of women, he stopped when he realized he had forgotten to give one more very important piece of advice. “Norie?”

“What now, Preach?”

“Stay ya ass the fuck away from Greg. You ain’t got no more room to lay nann ‘nutha nigga out in public, bruh. Especially not that nigga. He’s got just as many connects as you. Keep ya fuckin’ fists to ya gotdamn self.”
