Drop the Puck, Cowboy

Ex-pro hockey player Evan Holloway comes to New Mexico to settle some family drama and is startled by how quickly the rough, striking country wins him over.

Cowboy bull fighter Sam Marron is stubborn, gorgeous, and fiercely proud of his home, and Evan is only there to help with a tense mess involving his best friend's son and Sam's daughter.

Attraction hits anyway, because Sam's devotion to the cowboy way and to his college kid is impossible to ignore, even if it also makes the man hard to reach.

Work that keeps them traveling and backgrounds that could not be less alike leave little room for a relationship to take root.

Along the way they learn that family can be chosen as well as blood, but whether they can hold on when the pressure becomes too much remains painfully uncertain.
