Chapter Twenty-Two
The Vampire and the Hero
It was awkward after cleaning up. Or well, me and Rosie felt pretty awkward. Lupa was happy to rawdog a block of cheese in the fridge for breakfast while Jeanne helped herself to a cup of tea made by Stella.
Stella also couldn’t stop staring at me with eyes full of wonder for most of the morning… and I was pretty sure she took a few licks of cum whenever I wasn’t looking since I caught a bit left on her lips at one point.
Lupa was much less shameless about licking some if it up while we were cleaning.
The women of this world were seriously something.
Anyways.
We gathered in the dining room for breakfast that Stella cooked for us. That simple task made her extremely happy going by how she was humming the whole time while cooking and couldn’t stop smiling once she sat down to join us.
Rosie was still pretty red, and I probably was, too.
“My first night will be like that too, right?” Stella asked, looking at me with eager eyes.
“… it wouldn’t be fair to say no,” I said. “But… maybe we should invest into getting our own place… so we don’t bother Frolin and Ailsa.”
“I’d say you can come stay with me, but my apartment is way too small for everyone. You saw it.”
“Yeah…”
Then Stella looked at Rosie and asked, “How many times did he even cum to do all of that?”
Rosie jumped upon hearing the question before stuttering out, “That—that was… eleven times.”
Stella dropped her fork. “Eleven?! In one night?! A guy?! That’s crazy for so many reasons! Not to mention that it looked like the aftermath of a thousand guys in there!”
… I was pretty sure that, going by what I knew of the average, realistic ejaculation by Earth standards, that I came more than what a thousand guys could… per orgasm… but I couldn’t bring myself to say that because of how absurd it sounded.
“The worst part,” Rosie continued, “is that… he… he was still hard by the end of it. He… even after all that… still had more. But I was too tired to keep going…”
Stella’s jaw looked ready to drop to the floor. “Seriously?! I already heard from Lupa that he’s crazy in bed, but eleven times and he still wasn’t empty?! And the room looked like that?!”
Rosie looked down and nodded.
“We’ll have to get a bedroom with a drain in the floor or something. Or get a really big bathroom for all of us to mess around in.” Then Stella looked at Jeanne and asked, “How are you staying composed hearing all of this? You’re in this with us now, girl!”
Jeanne set down her tea and, with a calm smile, asked, “Why would I be surprised about such an unrealistic man proving that he is unrealistic beyond measure? Nothing can shock me more than the fact that he cherishes me as much as he does. Even were I to find out that his emissions are enough to fill an ocean, I would not be more surprised.”
“Girl… we need to love on you so hard that you start to be shocked by things actually shock-worthy. I mean, I get it, Mister Perfect is over here making all of us think we’ve gone crazy and are hallucinating his existence, but you should still be more shocked by what that bedroom looked like.”
“It does not even begin to compare in my eyes.” Jeanne lifted her cup back up to take another sip of tea. Then, Jeanne looked me in my eyes to say, “But do not mistake my lack of surprise for disinterest. The list of futures to look forward to has only grown after such a sight.”
There was something about the way Jeanne said that sort of stuff that drove me wild. She was way too smooth.
“His—his ears,” Rosie said. “As… the first wife… it’s my responsibility to teach my co-wives about his weakness!”
Lupa stopped eating, Stella took out her phone to take notes, and Jeanne raised a single eyebrow.
“That… was all from… just my hand… while using my mouth on his ear.”
“… seriously?” Stella asked.
Lupa, Stella, and Jeanne looked at my ears.
I set down my fork so I could cover my ears up. “My ears aren’t for breakfast,” I said. “The pancakes are.”
Lupa then sniffed the air and said, “Mm. Master got hard.”
“How can you tell that just from sniffing the air?!” I asked.
“I already memorized the scent. Strong nose.”
I took one hand off my ear and covered my face instead. “Isn’t this—isn’t this too much teasing first thing in the morning?”
“Master, red. So cute.”
Stella gulped and asked, “Do—do I really get to see a sight like this every morning for the rest of my life? How am I supposed to do literally anything without walking around with a huge smile all day if this is how I get to start my day? Isn’t this way too crazy?”
Rosie, who started all of this, stuck her tongue out at me despite still being flustered herself.
And then Jeanne said, “I will keep in mind that you would prefer my lips against your ear rather than your neck.”
I seriously felt like a piece of meat being stared at by four starving wolves.
It was awesome.
Still embarrassing, though.
With breakfast over, we got properly dressed for the day, went over our plans, and headed out.
Stella had work, Jeanne was going to stay back and do some more cleaning to repay Frolin and Ailsa for letting her stay with them, and then me, Rosie, and Lupa were finally going to go get our classes.
Lupa already had all of her prerequisites achieved from what I asked her, and Rosie worked on finishing her prerequisites while grinding in the dungeon with Jeanne the other day.
She even picked up a two-handed hammer from Tabitha that basically looked like a giant rectangular rock attached to a stick.
It was pretty basic looking, but it was cool at the same time.
I also had to make sure that I kept my hood covering my face and walked around with my hands either tucked into my pockets or covered by Rosie’s and Lupa’s hands.
I became a vampire, after all.
Not only did everything look so much brighter than usual in the daylight to the point where it took my eyes a while to adjust and gave me a headache for a few minutes after stepping outside, but I started burning every time any sunlight touched my skin.
It took less than a minute straight of exposure to the sun to burn me to death.
But staying covered up was pretty easy, so.
I wasn’t that concerned. Not to mention that, as I leveled up and got more health, it’d become even harder to die from something like that.
Exposure to the sun only did twenty damage a second.
The average DoTs later in progression would deal hundreds of damage a second while being shrugged off with simple healing.
So, yeah.
It was risky at the start, but it would become a total nonissue later on.
I could probably even set up a build that stacked so much health regeneration that I could passively counter the burning from the sun, allowing me to walk around in it with no problem…
aside from feeling the physical sensation of burning constantly.
At least it didn’t catch me on fire or anything. It just felt like something extremely hot was touching me whenever sunlight reached my skin.
But aside from the sun trying to cook me alive more than usual.
In order to get our classes, we had to go to none other than a building that most players only ever visited four times at most in a run since only the player character needed to actually visit it.
Once to acquire their first class, again at level thirty to get their second class, a third time at level fifty to specialize their first class, and then a final time at seventy-five to specialize their second class.
Of course, there was also the ascension of the first class at level one hundred, but that wasn’t done here.
As for where “here” was, that was one of the most obligatory buildings in every single fantasy setting.
A cathedral. To be more specific, it was a cathedral dedicated to the Goddess of Progress.
She didn’t actually have anything to do with the “system” in the lore, since the system giving everyone classes and levels was a thing that existed even in the original game’s canon, but her cathedral was still the only place where characters could unlock their classes for…
reasons that Seth never bothered justifying.
It was a beautiful cathedral, too. Tall, very… well, cathedral-y. Like something out of the Victorian era. Probably? I didn’t know cathedrals as well as I knew the insides of hospital rooms.
It was just pretty and had a giant, pointy tower reaching toward the sky that looked like a spike.
Also.
My face started sizzling because I looked up too high and exposed it to the sunlight.
“This sunlight thing might take some getting used to,” I said.
“Master, here,” Lupa said. Of course, she immediately followed that up with licking my face where I got burned. “Mm. All better.”
“Maybe I shouldn’t get used to it if it means getting licked. I wonder, if I take my pants off…”
Rosie flicked the side of my head. “Don’t you dare burn that.”
“What, so it’s okay if I burn my face, but not my dick? I see what’s more important to you, Rosie.”
“Don’t burn either of them!”
“But then how else will I get you two to lick them?”
“… I’m not even answering that. Come on, I want to get my class, and I’ve had enough sex talk today to last… for at least a couple more hours.”
“You hear that, Lupa? The girl who tried milking me dry last night is saying that she’s had enough sex talk.”
Rosie reddened up after hearing that, but I didn’t get to enjoy her expression for long since I felt Lupa suddenly go in for my neck. And after biting me for a couple seconds, she said, “I’ll do more than only try to do it tonight, Master.”
“Maybe we should focus on getting our classes after all.”
Rosie sighed and said, “Now you know how I feel. Alright, come on.”
With that, we went inside.
Or tried to, at least.
It was crazy busy.
“Is… it always like this?” I asked. It was borderline empty in the game.
