Echoes of a Swiss Betrayal

In February 1943, SOE agent Lizzie Beaumont is posted to neutral Switzerland to prove that the country is complicit in bankrolling the Reich’s war machine.

Bern conceals another conflict of spies and dangerous whispers, where a Swiss banker hides Nazi-looted gold and the darkest crimes against Europe’s Jews, and a counterintelligence agent works from the shadows to protect that shameful secret and stop Lizzie at all costs.

She must decide whether the banker can be trusted, or whether he is playing both sides.

At Bletchley Park, her fiancé, Captain Jack King, uncovers a leak that points to treachery within and a cover-up that could cost lives.

In wartime Switzerland, courage is tested by deceit, and even the safest havens are not beyond betrayal.
