Chapter 26 #2

Alba woke slowly, wrapped in soft sheets, that quiet stillness of the morning greeting her.

She blinked, her lashes fluttering as her awareness sharpened enough for her to realise where she was.

She…was in Ellie’s bed, and Ellie was curled into her…

one arm draped across Alba’s waist, her face tucked into her neck, her breath warm against her skin.

Alba didn’t dare move. She suddenly had the ridiculous idea that this was one of those moments that would disappear the second she shifted. One of those fleeting, fragile moments that didn’t hold up under reality.

But Ellie didn’t move either. She just continued to breathe in that soft, steady rhythm.

Oh. It’s real.

She lifted her hand, hovering for a second before she brushed her fingers lightly over Ellie’s arm, tracing the softness of her skin as though she needed to confirm the woman beside her was an actual human being.

Ellie stirred, a slow smile spreading on her lips as she tightened her hold on Alba’s waist. Alba’s own smile settled when the realisation hit her.

She’d…spent the night in Ellie’s bed. And right now, nobody could take that from her.

Nobody could have an opinion or dissuade Ellie from being in Alba’s life.

It was just the two of them, waking up on a lazy Saturday morning.

Alba’s smile widened. She’d never seen Ellie like this, and truth be told, she never thought she would. This wasn’t the composed headteacher or the woman who held herself together at work. It wasn’t the woman who carried everything quietly inside of her.

This version of Ellie…alive, soft, and completely open, was all she’d wanted to see in the days and weeks of getting to know one another. It hit Alba all over again…that same disbelief from last night.

How the hell did I get this lucky?

She shifted carefully and looked down at Ellie, brushing a strand of hair from her face.

Ellie’s lashes fluttered again, and then slowly, she opened her eyes. She looked disoriented, her gaze unfocused as she blinked up at Alba, and then the recognition landed, immediately followed by something softer.

“Morning,” Ellie, her voice rough with sleep, reached out and traced Alba’s eyebrow with the tip of her finger. “You look so very beautiful this morning.”

Alba smiled. “Hi.”

Ellie’s gaze drifted over Alba’s face, taking her in properly. “That wasn’t a dream, was it?”

“No, gorgeous. It was all very real.”

“Good,” she whispered.

And then her hand shifted from Alba’s waist, her fingertips gliding lower and tracing over her warm skin, still sensitive from the night before.

Alba’s breath caught when she felt that spark again. That immediate pull that had led them to take a cab back here together last night. Alba watched Ellie, their gazes locked, wondering just what was coming next. “You feeling okay this morning?”

“Yes.” Ellie smiled. “You?”

Okay? Alba wasn’t sure she would ever feel okay again. Not after tasting Ellie all night long. “I’m fine.”

“I thought I’d feel nervous, but I don’t.”

Relief flooded Alba at that. “Good. I never want you to feel nervous with me, Ellie.”

Ellie shifted closer, her leg brushing against Alba’s as her touch became firm and far more certain. “I just feel…” Ellie exhaled as she touched her forehead to Alba’s. “Like I don’t want to stop.”

Alba closed her eyes and let that sink in. She gave herself a moment to feel everything rushing around inside of her, and then she tilted her head and brushed her lips against Ellie’s. “You don’t have to stop.”

That was all it took for Ellie’s hand to start wandering further.

Her mouth found Alba’s again, and Alba felt the shift in the room.

Her hand slid into Ellie’s hair, holding her as their kiss deepened and their bodies pressed closer…

the quiet calm of the morning giving way to something far less gentle.

Ellie moved with a confidence Alba hadn’t expected—she’d been the one to take the lead last night, refusing to pressure Ellie into returning what she’d received—so Alba let her explore. She let her take whatever it was she needed this morning, hoping Ellie realised exactly what she was capable of.

“If it makes you feel any better,” Alba whispered. “I’m already wet for you.”

With a filthy smile, Ellie trailed her fingers lower, slipping between her thighs and finding slick heat.

Alba gasped into the kiss, her body arching towards Ellie’s touch.

She sensed the slight hesitation in Ellie’s movements, the way her hand trembled a little, but it only made this moment all the more thrilling.

“Oh, God.” Ellie drew back with a moan. “You weren’t lying. You’re soaking, Alba.”

Alba’s heart pounded, thrilled by Ellie’s boldness despite her inexperience. Seeing Ellie dive in like this—pushing aside her own fears—had fresh arousal pooling between her thighs. “Y-yes,” Alba whispered. “Fuck, Ellie. Your fingers feel amazing.”

“You’ll tell me if I’m not very good?”

Alba smirked against her lips. “Trust me, you’re fucking perfect.

” Ellie’s eyes lit up with that spark of reassurance.

She shifted, pressing Alba back against the pillows, one hand pinning Alba’s wrist above her head, while the other continued to explore.

Alba moaned, her hips bucking against Ellie’s touch.

“Mm, that’s it...” Ellie slid two fingers inside her, carefully at first, allowing Alba’s warmth to guide her depth.

Her walls squeezed, easing the way as Ellie explored. “S-shit.”

“You feel so good, Alba.”

Alba clenched her jaw as she tried to stave off the orgasm rushing towards her. “I…I’m close.”

Ellie groaned, her cheeks flushed as she thrust her fingers faster.

The bed creaked under them, the room filling with the sound of Alba’s soaked pussy and her breathless moans.

She didn’t know if it was the knowledge of this being Ellie’s first time inside a woman, or just the fact it was Ellie at all…

but everything felt heightened this morning.

“When you moan for me,” Ellie whispered against Alba’s neck. “It makes me want to fuck you harder.”

Lost in the building pressure and everything this woman was, Alba spread her legs wider and nodded. “Do it. Fuck me harder.”

Emboldened, Ellie eased a third finger inside, stretching Alba with a careful push, the fullness sending sparks through her. “Oh, Alba.”

Alba’s thighs trembled, clamping around Ellie’s hand as she rushed towards the peak.

“Yes! Fuck! Right there.” And then her orgasm crashed over her.

She cried out, her walls pulsing around Ellie’s fingers, waves of pleasure ripping through her.

Ellie kept a steady rhythm, drawing it out until Alba went limp.

She pressed a hand to her forehead, panting and thoroughly undone. “Jesus.”

Ellie slumped beside her, pressing a kiss to her shoulder. “Thank you for staying over last night. It meant the world to me.”

Alba turned and wrapped Ellie up in her arms. It had been an honour to spend the night with Ellie, and as they lay there, Alba knew it was only the beginning of something truly beautiful.

She didn’t care about the staff at work, and she didn’t care about her ex-wife.

Alba was too happy with Ellie to bat an eyelid in the direction of any of them ever again. “Can I spend the weekend with you?”

“I’d love that.”
