Chapter 13

Storm

I hated being pulled away from Lena, and now Krys.

We’ve had her at home for a week now, and already I was itching to get back home.

But I didn’t know if they were there.

As I waited for the brothers to finish loading up the new shipment of guns we had been paid for, I pulled my phone out of my pocket and thumbed a message to Lena.

Me – Are you at home?

As I waited for her to text me back, I scrolled through some gift ideas for Krys. Since this was her first Christmas with us, I wanted to do it up huge.

I had just looked at an ad for a mini-Harley and wondered if Lena would get pissed off at me. But... I knew the makeup sex would be so worth it.

Just as I thought that my phone pinged with a text.

Precious – Yes. Dad just picked up Krys.

Me – On my way.

Once I got on my bike, I headed home.

Fifteen minutes later I was shutting my bike off just in time for my eyes to catch our front door opening, and in her hand were two cold beers.

Taking my helmet off I hung it from the handlebars.

The moment I reached her steps, she smiled.

Damn, but I would fight forcing out my last breath to be greeted like this every day.

I didn’t care about what she had on.

All I wanted, all I needed was to see that smile of hers.

She held out one beer to me, I twisted the cap off, then handed it to her, and took the other beer.

I followed her into the house, and closed the door, toeing off my boots, I met her on her couch.

“I’m not going to ask, but is it all handled?” She asked.

I nodded, “Yeah. And I appreciate you not asking.”

She grinned, “So you’re here. What did you want to talk about?”

I took another pull from my beer, then sat it on the coffee table, “I want to be married to you before Christmas. So, whatever we need to do to make that happen, I want you to get started on it.”

She nodded, “Yeah, I love that idea too. Honestly, we need to see what all we need. I can find a dress. All I want you in is your kutte, a black button-down with your sleeves rolled up your forearms. And well, I want to get married in the clubhouse. The spot where we danced for the first time. Is that okay with you?”

I nodded because honestly, that sounded perfect to me.

“Was there anything else?” She asked.

I shook my head.

“Okay then. I have a rule I want to establish between us. Okay?”

I nodded and waited.

Because whatever this woman wanted, this woman would get.

I didn’t care what I had to do to make it happen or who I had to go through.

“Whenever one of us leaves the other, I expect a kiss. And when one or the other comes back to the other, I also expect a kiss. Okay?”

I smiled, “So, I’ve got a million kisses I need to make up for, is that what you're telling me?”

She shrugged her shoulders and winked, “Maybe.”

“Well, guess I better get started,” I whispered against her lips.

And then when she closed her eyes, I pressed mine to hers, as my hand came up and curved around the side of her face.

Holding her in place, I worked my lips over hers, and then she let out a little moan.

I moved my lips down to her neck and asked, “How long will your dad have Krys?”

She shook her head and threaded her fingers through my hair, “for another hour at least.”

“Well then. I know something we can do during that hour.” I spoke.

And that something resulted in both of us being a sweaty mess against the wall in the living room.

Sue me if neither one of us could wait until we made it to the bedroom.

Thankfully, getting married was going to be easy.

Over the past week, I got my black button down she had requested, and had the clubhouse ready.

Just in time for it to be four weeks before Christmas.

And standing at my side was Cason.

Raine stood across from me holding Krys.

All eyes turned to the steps as Red first stepped down, then stepped to the side to reveal the light of my life.

Thankfully, I trusted everyone here, or else I was going to be filling many bodies with holes full of bullets for just looking at her in her wedding dress.

I wished I was up to fashion so I could explain how she looked, and yes, the dress made her body look amazing.

But what I cared about most was the heart that rested in that body and the smile she shot at me when her eyes landed on me.

Powers had made the trip with his ol’ lady, Liliana and thankfully, did the honors.

We said I do while the same song we first danced to played through the speakers.

It was simple. Classic. And elegant.

As soon as he said you may kiss your bride, I dipped Lena down low and kissed the hell out of her.

Wolf whistles, cat calls, you name it, we heard it.

Lena had just hugged Cree when Red looked at me and nodded, “Proud as fuck to not only call you my president but my son-in-law.”

He tilted his head over to where Lena stood with some fucker at her side, nodding, I sat my glass down on the table, stood up, and then marched over to where my woman was smiling and laughing with another fucking man.

Raine saw me coming and thankfully didn’t give me away.

Thank fuck we had a conversation about this very thing, cause if she hadn’t agreed to it… well… I would have risked alienating my daughter for this woman.

Reaching her back, I didn’t even think, I just moved.

Wrapping her body in my arms, I pulled her tight to my chest, buried my face in her neck, and asked, “Can I snap his neck? So, I won’t have any competition?”

She chuckled.

The guy stiffened. Fucker.

Yeah, I didn’t say those words softly at fucking all.

“Sam, meet the president of Wrath MC, Pinewood Lake chapter. Storm, meet Sam, the friend that Raine and I went to pull for in the drag show three weeks ago.” I took in her words, lifted my face from her neck, and then really took in the man who had my woman laughing and was standing too close for my liking.

And that was when my eyes caught the piercings, the space in his eyebrow, and the eyeliner he wore… Okay, yeah, now I see it.

But did he really have to lean to the right to get a better view of me? To the right that put his face even closer to my woman’s.

“Girl, how come you and Raine got good-looking men? Oh, slap my ass, I’ll definitely be okay with calling you Daddy.”

Raine and Lena burst out laughing, and then they laughed even harder when Krys came over who was carried by Cason, and asked, “Daddy, he my brother?”

I closed my eyes, not at what happened, but at what Krys had called me just days ago.

Daddy.

And yes, four days ago we got with the lawyer, and I adopted Krys and gave her my last name.

***

Krys was staying with Raine and Tank while we went on our honeymoon.

We were packing the last bit of stuff when I asked, “Precious, where’s your passport?”

“I think it’s in the bedside drawer,” she said.

I nodded then headed and opened the drawer.

And what my eyes landed on...

I tagged the passport, and then grabbed the thing in my hand, headed to the living room where my wife was zipping things closed, and asked, “Wanna tell me what this is?”

Her head lifted and looked at me, and then at what I held in my hand, and I watched as her face flushed with embarrassment.

I lifted a brow, “You use this?”

She didn’t speak. Didn’t even move her head.

I waved the purple dildo in the air and asked, “Lena, tell me. Do. You. Use. This?”

She squeaked, “I haven’t in a long time.”

I nodded, “Okay, why did you have it to begin with?”

She sighed, “Because I didn’t have you.”

“You won’t fucking be needing this ever again,” I told her as I walked to the kitchen and threw the offending object in the trash.

Then I proceeded to show her why she wouldn’t ever need that offending thing again.

And it was so hot that we almost missed our plane.

Almost.
