Chapter Nineteen
Janea
The amount of stress riding my shoulders is ridiculous. “I don’t think our meeting with the Governor went as good as it should have gone. This man has known me my entire life. Why the hell would I lie to him about something like that?”
“There’s nothing you can do, Janea,” Eros said, grabbing my foot, then kissing my toes before massaging it.
We were back at the clubhouse, but I was so ready to get out of here. The walls were closing in around me, but now wasn’t the time to complain about my living situation. I had bigger problems to deal with.
I groaned, closing my eyes, loving the feel of his fingers digging into my tired foot. “If you want to quit your day job, you’d make an excellent massage therapist.”
He chuckled but didn’t comment.
I sighed. “I just want all this to be over, Niko.”
When I gazed into his eyes, my entire world stopped. While I was very attracted to Eros, what I felt went way beyond attraction. He was digging his way into my heart.
“I know you do. I’m working on it. But as for the governor, let it go. There’s nothing more you can do. It’s on him now that he has the information.”
He moved his hands up my ankle toward my calf. I was in heaven. I know this hadn’t just been hectic for me but for him, too. His life was now centered around protecting me. He and Ambrose can’t even go home because my situation may have put them in danger.
“Have I told you thank you?”
I had a lot to thank him for, but I’d been so caught up in everything, I’d thought of nothing else.
“You don’t have to thank me, Janea. I care about you.” He kissed my foot, then put it down, and picked up the other one. He kissed my toes then started to massage that foot. “And if I can do anything to make all this shit go away, that’s what I’m going to do.”
Relief instantly washed over me because of his words. He felt the same way as me. This went beyond simple sexual attraction. He cared about me, just as much as I cared about him and Ambrose.
“How dangerous are you?”
His lips traveled up my calf, then continued higher to my thigh. “You ever heard the saying, don’t ask questions you already know the answers to?” He nipped at my thigh, causing me to hiss. “Ask me what you want to know.”
“Have you killed anyone?”
“I have.”
He answered the question with no hesitation. It took me off guard.
“I don’t play games, Janea. I do what I have to do to survive in this world. I always have, and I always will.”
“How many?” I asked.
“Too many to count.”
“You don’t have any regrets about the lives you took?”
He looked at me and smiled. “No. Every one of them deserved it one way or another.”
“Would I have deserved it?”
He let out a breath. “No.” His fingers traced the inside of my thigh, causing goose pimples to pop up along my skin. “You stumbled onto club business. And I didn’t want to hurt you, Janea. If I did, we wouldn’t be here.”
“You’re serious, aren’t you?”
“I am. This world is dangerous, and I hate how you were brought into it. But I don’t regret that day. I don’t regret being in the park because you wouldn’t be in my life, right now.”
“You’re happy that you kidnapped me?” I asked, laughing.
He chuckled, then shrugged.
“You know what would make me an even happier man at this moment?” he asked, pushing my thighs apart.
“What would that be?”
I ran my hands through his soft hair as he settled between my thighs, feeling the warmth of his body and the scratch of his beard against my skin.
“Tasting your cunt.”
I giggled. “Your sex drive is insane.”
“Are you complaining?”
He spread my folds and ran his tongue from my entrance up to my clit.
“Fuck,” I groaned, tightening my grip on his hair.
“That doesn’t sound like a complaint, sweetheart.” He laughed against my core, causing a shiver to move over my entire body. “Your cunt loves my sex drive.”
He pulled my clit into his mouth and sucked, and the world swam with dark spots as my vision blurred. As a wave of warmth and tingles washed over me, starting at my feet to the crown of my head, I started to shake.
“Niko,” I groaned as my orgasmed rushed through me.
Moaning softly, he continued to suck, lick, and flick my clit. He pushed his fingers inside me, sliding them in and out. I moved my hips against his tongue, mirroring his rhythm as another orgasm moved through me.
“Fuck, fuck, fuck!” I screamed, my body shaking harder.
He continued his movements until I couldn’t take it anymore and pushed his head away. He sat up on his knees and wiped my juices from his mouth.
“I still here no complaints. See how quick I can get my pussy to cum for me.”
I giggled. “Shut up and fuck me.”
I watched him pull his dick from inside his boxers and line himself up at my entrance.
He chuckled, then entered me to the hilt in one strong thrust. I scooted back, and a smirk crossed his face. “Don’t talk shit, then run, Janea. Take all this dick.”
His fingers dug into my thighs and pulled me back closer to him, then he pushed both my legs back and thrusted inside of me over and over again.
The sounds of my screams and his grunts mingled in the air along with the primal scent of sex as he claimed not only my body, but my heart and soul.
I didn’t know when things changed between us but not only was he the only man who made me feel these emotions, he had ruined me for anyone else.
I would now see my life as before Eros and after.
Tears filled my eyes, as he hit a spot inside me that sent me crashing again. He leaned forward and licked the tears from my skin. “You’re mine, Janea Thorne.” He thrusted hard. “And one day, I’m going to make you, my wife.”
With one last thrust, he grunted as his body stiffened, and his warm release filled me. When he pulled back to catch his breath, a smile crossed his face. He brushed the hair away from my face and wiped a tear away from under my eyes.
“You shouldn’t say things like that.”
My heart was beating so hard inside my chest. I can’t believe he just said that.
“No tears.” A wide smile crossed his face. “This is real for me if you have doubts. You’re mine Janea, in every way that matters. I’m here, and I’m not going anywhere.”
