Chapter 18
____________
Zalantha
My heart raced with adrenaline as we left the car and headed along the river. After that sensual moment with Lyra, I knew she was the woman of my life. I wanted to be with her again, fill her with my raging power and pleasure her tight pussy, perhaps even filling her womb with my seed. But first, I had to do everything to protect her and help find her mom.
Even though I”d promised myself never to go back to Mesoterra, the situation had changed. The thought of returning to that torturous planet ignited an excruciating fear deep in my soul, but I knew I had to face this next challenge to grow and become stronger.
I wanted to be free from doubt, from the looming dread that one-day Mesothraxus would find me and destroy me, so, instead, I”d have to eliminate him and his end corrupt system.
I wasn”t only thinking about myself, either. I wanted Lyra and many people on Earth to be liberated from their drinking problems, ridding them of the awful disease.
As we walked hand in hand along the river, I looked at Lyra, studying her curvy body. Her demeanor drove me crazy - how she walked, smiled, and, especially, tasted. I wanted to sample her flavor properly, slide my tongue inside her soaked pussy and make her come over my mouth. When I had the chance, I”d make her mine. I”d do everything I could to pleasure her and make her feel special like she deserved.
But first, we had to go on an adventure. I cast my mind back to where I”d left my shuttle and took a path along a small stream.
Hand in hand, Lyra and I walked in harmony with nature, our spirits lifted by the beauty around us. The woods seemed alive with the evening light, golden rays filtering through the canopy above, casting intricate patterns on the forest floor.
As we ventured deeper into the woods, vibrant colors greeted us at every turn. The leaves of the trees displayed a kaleidoscope of hues, ranging from fiery reds to rich oranges and deep yellows, painting a picturesque scene against the backdrop of the lush greenery. Shafts of sunlight pierced through the dense foliage, illuminating patches of the forest floor with a warm, inviting glow. The scent of pine mingled with the sweet fragrance of wildflowers, filling the air with freshness and vitality.
Then we came to a spot that I recognised.
”It”s down here,” I said, nodding towards a cave.
”What is?”
”My shuttle.”
”So you were serious then?” she asked, frowning.
”Deadly.”
”But I”m hardly dressed for a trip to space.” She looked down at herself and shrugged.
”Don”t worry, you”ll be fine.”
We walked further until we reached the cave entrance. I looked behind, checking no one had followed.
”What”s up?” asked Lyra.
”Just checking we”re alone.”
”Oh yeah?” she said, raising an eyebrow as she leaned in and kissed my cheek. ”Planning on continuing our little bonding session, are we?”
”Perhaps,” I said, my cock throbbing. ”But we should focus on getting out of here.”
”So you keep telling me,” she said, sounding disappointed.
”Don”t worry; we”ll have plenty of time to get to know each other better.”
”I hope so,” she said, winking.
She was distracting me again. Damn, she was hot. I had to be strong and move forward, though.
”Let”s go,” I said, holding her hand tighter while leading her into the cave.
Inside, the air was thick with the musty scent of ancient rock. Little pinpricks of light twinkled in the distance, offering a faint glimmer of hope amidst the eerie atmosphere. I held Lyra close, our footsteps echoing softly against the cavern walls, a sense of trepidation creeping over us in the oppressive darkness.
”It can”t be far away,” I said, squinting to see ahead.
”Are you sure you left it down here?”
”There are no other caves about.”
As we continued, I kept one arm stretched out, hoping to feel my shuttle. But then, I sensed a strange wave of heat ooze into the cave. The hairs on the back of my neck stood up. Something felt out of place.
”Come here,” I said, pulling Lyra close.
”Oh, Zalantha,” she said, giggling. ”I thought you wanted to focus on getting out of here.”
”He”s not going anywhere,” said a familiar, gruesome voice.
I spun my body around, protecting Lyra. Panic crept up my throat when I saw who had spoken.
There, standing and staring at us, was my worst enemy, that vile monster, lizard-like and massive.
Lyra screamed.
”Long time no see, Zalantha,” he said, a cruel smile appearing on his ugly face.
Our eyes met, and fear pulsed in my core. I wasn”t expecting to face him so soon, but I immediately went into fight mode.
”Fancy seeing you here,” I said, standing tall, stretching my back. I clenched my hands into fists as rage seethed through me.
”Who is he?” cried Lyra, sliding backwards.
”Why, I”m Mesothraxus,” he said. ”I”m surprised lover boy here hasn”t told you about me. We go back a long way.”
”What do you want?” I growled, snarling as I showed my teeth.
”Another victim of that pleasant, mind-blowing drink would be perfect,” he said, eying Lyra.
”No chance,” I said, holding Lyra tight. ”Get the fuck away.”
”Or what?” he said, towering high.
”Or I”ll kill you.”
”I doubt that somehow.”
Catching me off guard, he swung his arm out and whacked the side of the cave; rocks crumbled down, and the cave shook, reminding me of his strength. I had to ignore the dread building in my chest and fight him. If I had defeated him before, I could do it again.
He edged closer, growling as he raised his arms.
”Get back,” I said. ”I”m warning you.”
”You are no match for me,” he said, standing taller.
”Zalantha, don”t; he”ll crush you,” said Lyra.
”Get back, don”t worry,” I said, guiding her to the side.
”I”d listen to her if I were you. She seems to talk sense.”
”No chance.”
I clenched my fists and went for him, pacing forward with fury. As I got close, he swung his arm out, hitting my side, but I managed to strike him, too. Then I went to sweep his legs, but he dodged out of the way and punched me in the side.
I grimaced from the pain, but he wouldn”t beat me.
”I see you are still a pussy,” he said.
”On the contrary, I”m stronger.”
I flicked my leg up, catching him in the face, and he stumbled backwards. I leapt forward, throwing punches left, right and centre, smashing him with all my energy.
”That”s it, Zalantha,” cried Lyra. ”Take him out.”
Her words inspired me. I kept hitting Mesothraxus, aiming for his head and side, but then he caught me off guard and kicked my lower leg. I slipped and fell to the ground on my front. He towered over me and dug his foot into my back, pressing hard.
The weight of him pushing on me was stifling my breath.
”Get off him,” shouted Lyra.
I guessed she”d hit him because he stumbled slightly.
”Now, who is this delicious-looking alcoholic?” he said.
”I”m not an alcoholic,” said Lyra.
”No? Could have fooled me. I can smell the gin in your system, just like your poor Mommy.”
”Hey, leave her out of this.”
”She”s already on my planet, and soon you will be too.”
”No way,” she said. ”Now, leave Zalantha alone.”
”I don”t think so.”
He dug his foot harder into my back.
”Time to end your life, you brat,” he said.
”Not if I have anything to do with it,” I muttered, digging deep for extra strength.
I heaved backwards, pushing him away, and then rolled on my side.
”Lyra, get away.”
Mesothraxus went to grab her, but she dashed out of the way and began to run out of the cave. Mesothraxus turned to me again.
”You little fuck,” he said, leaning over me.
He went to kick me, but I slid back and jumped up. Then I whacked him in the side. He punched me, I took it, and then I aimed for his scar. I stabbed him there, and he flinched, roaring as he moved back.
”You stupid fool, thinking you”ll beat me.”
”I”m holding my own so far.”
”Not for much longer.”
He went for me again. With adrenaline surging, I raised my foot, kicking him hard. He staggered and then fell. Hope filled my heart. I was about to pounce on him, rip his throat out, when I felt two hands on me, pulling me back.
”The fuck?” I said, turning my head to see three Mesothraxians towering over me. I went to punch one but received a hefty blow in the face.
”Just in time,” said Mesothraxus.
I tried to fight back, but they closed in, fists flying. I was trapped in a whirlwind of punches and kicks, unable to defend myself adequately.
Lyra screamed.
”Get off,” she cried, ”leave me alone.”
”Sounds like we have her, too,” said Mesothraxus, kicking me in the side.
”Let her go,” I said. ”Take me.”
”You”re no use to me now,” he said. ”I want Lyra. It”s time to take her to Mesoterra and extract that beautiful Nectar of the Gods.”
He kicked me in the face, and I went dizzy. I tried to get up but received another blow to the back. I was battered, bruised, and couldn”t move. I”d failed my Lyra, and now she would be abducted.
