Chapter 33
ADELINA
Life at the house had settled into a semblance of normalcy with Cezar around. Despite what he’d been through, he got along well with everyone, always laughing and smiling, masking his past. We’d only attended a few sessions, and he acted like such a baby about it.
I couldn’t even blame him. Every time we got home, he’d limp inside, whining dramatically about how sore he was. I was convinced half of it was an act to get me to massage him—and the worst part? It worked every single time.
Dorin cooked for us every night, and we ended up in the kitchen together like one big, fucked-up family.
Family.
The longer he stayed, the more I wondered if I could ever go back to the life I had before him. Viktor still needed to die—that hadn’t changed—but Cezar… he made everything complicated in all the wrong and right ways.
It was almost noon, and he still hadn’t gotten himself out of bed. He slept like a bear, like he was trying to make up for a lifetime of unrest. Dorin was finishing lunch, so I headed upstairs to get him.
I opened the door and halted. He was not asleep. He was definitely not asleep.
“Ah, fuck—you scared me,” Cezar blurted, pulling his hand from under the blankets way too late to pretend he wasn’t just going to town.
I raised an eyebrow. “What exactly are you doing?”
“All right, not fair. Trying to relieve some tension here in my self-pity, okay? I’m not left-handed, this shit is hard.” He pouted.
I laughed outright. “Clearly not working out too well for you.”
He held out one hand pathetically. “Care to help out a temporarily crippled man?”
I stayed planted in the doorway. “Why are you always so turned on, Cezar?”
“You just make me so fucking horny,” he admitted excitedly.
“Well,” I teased, “I could get one of the guys—”
“NO… no helping hands needed. You’re the only one I want touching my dick,” he declared.
“Hmm,” I responded, crossing my arms while smiling.
“What?” He stared at me, horrified. “Do I give off gay vibes? Is that why girls don’t talk to me?”
“That’s definitely not why.”
He sighed dramatically. “It’s fine. I’ll just struggle through jerking myself off with my left hand and make it down in time for lunch.”
He slid his hand under the covers with newfound determination.
“Oh yeah? I think I’d enjoy watching.”
“Me jerking off?” Cezar’s smirk returned instantly.
“You struggling,” I corrected, brows lifting.
Maintaining that annoyingly gorgeous expression of his, he slowly pushed the covers down, revealing his erection. Arousal shot through me so fast I actually stumbled back, hitting the door before I remembered to close it. And lock it.
“You know I can see you,” he said, attempting to stroke himself with his non-dominant hand.
“Well, you do have eyes,” I retorted sarcastically.
“Not what I meant, Petal. Your hips. They’re moving,” he observed, his head hanging back as he gave in to the slight pleasure he was feeling. It wasn’t enough. I could see the need for more. I was so turned on, and he was watching me like I was his next meal.
He was hard, desperate, yet nowhere near the edge.
A few soft whimpers escaped him, and that was what finally pulled me forward.
He stopped stroking himself. I brushed his hand aside and wrapped my fingers around the base of his cock, dragging my thumb through the slick at the tip and spreading it along his shaft.
He shuddered, teeth sinking into his bottom lip to keep the moans down.
His muscles tightened; he was trying to hold himself together. It wouldn’t take much to break him—I already knew that. And when he gripped the sheets, I stopped.
He looked at me with those adorable, needy eyes.
I let him sit in it for a moment, chest heaving, then I started again. My hand twisted up and down his cock while my other hand fondled his balls before squeezing them. Right when he was about to lose it, I stopped again.
I did this a few more times, and each time, it looked like he was on the verge of tears. “Please, Petal, please, f-fuck,” he pleaded, his hips moving into my hand, trying to get himself off because I wasn’t doing it for him.
I took my hand away. His jaw locked, lips parted in disbelief. His breathing was erratic, and his pupils were dilated, all that torment with no sign of release. “Better clean up, lunch is ready,” I said, leaving him in all of his ecstasy.
I went into the laundry to change my panties. He didn’t need to know the effect he had on me. I wanted him just as badly as he wanted me, but Dorin expected us downstairs soon. The fun would have to wait until later, after the next mission, assuming I made it back alive.
I have to.
