Chapter 1 #3
Before I could get my bearings, he dove beneath my skirt.
He ripped off my thong before flattening his tongue against me.
My head fell back in ecstasy against the carved wooden frame of the couch.
My palm covered my mouth to quiet my moans as he showed me exactly what he had done to that cherry stem.
My thighs shook against the sides of his head, but just as I got close, he pulled away with an evil smirk across his face.
I let out a frustrated breath. “Come on, Beau, stop this—”
He rose to his feet and took off his jacket. “Say please, Adams.”
I balled my hands into fists against the couch cushions. “You asshole.”
He folded his jacket into a loose rectangle and shot me a look. “God, I’m getting sick of your mouth.”
Just as I was about to finish myself off in front of him out of spite, Beau tossed his folded jacket onto the edge of the couch and pushed me onto my back across the cushions. His jacket protected the back of my head from dust as he joined me on the couch and positioned himself between my legs.
I glared at him as he unfastened his belt. “You know, I wondered how a man as wealthy as you wasn’t married yet. Apparently, even a net worth of half a billion can’t compensate for how rude you are!”
“Oh that’s what I’m worth to you?” He unzipped his pants. “I think you’ll find that I don’t have to compensate for anything.”
He thrust inside me and my head fell back onto his jacket as I gasped. Oh fuck—he was big.
He flashed me an evil smile. “That’s what I wanted to hear.”
I took a breath to tell him to shut up, but he thrust into me again before I could speak.
The smell of his cologne enveloped me as he fucked me with a punishing rhythm.
The couch shook beneath us. My nails clawed at the back of his starched shirt and my eyes rolled back into my head as I tried to contain my happy noises within my throat.
Beau picked up pace and the frame of the couch creaked, then cracked beneath us.
The couch tilted down and I gasped in panic. His chest pressed into mine to keep me from sliding, but two of the legs of the couch had snapped off.
“Shit,” I breathed. “This thing is an antique—”
“Shut up.” His lips captured mine as he grabbed my right leg and hooked it across his hip. “I’m not done with you yet.”
He locked eyes with me as he went in slowly, agonizingly slowly. I twisted and wiggled beneath him, my body aching for release. My moans turned into needy whines as I nearly pleaded for him to go faster.
He was teasing me on purpose. He had to be.
I looked up at him through half lidded eyes. “God, I hate you.”
“I’ll make you beg one way or another,” he said darkly as he slowly pushed into me. “Nothing would delight me more than finishing and leaving you angry and frustrated, so you’d better surrender. Be a good girl and say please.”
I clenched my jaw. Never.
I locked my legs behind his waist and squeezed, making him dive deeper. His eyes rolled back into his head and he bit his lip as he fully sank into me.
“You little bitch,” he moaned.
He gripped the armrest above my head for leverage as he picked up pace, giving into that irresistible need.
I smirked and tilted my hips up, taking full advantage of the increased friction.
I weaved my fingers through his soft hair and pulled at the roots on the back of his head, completely fucking up the perfectly-combed style.
I yanked harder and he let out a pathetic, irritated noise, but he couldn’t stop fucking me.
Who was the little bitch now?
Then, with his breath huffing across the shell of my ear with every thrust, I came hard. My back arched and a strangled cry left my throat. My vision blew out. I dug my nails into his shoulder muscles and claimed my glorious victory.
With a shuddering gasp against my skin, he finished inside me. His thrusts slowed and his chest sank down onto mine as his grip on the armrest loosened.
My breasts squished against him as I panted. I fluttered my eyes open to find beads of sweat on his forehead that glistened in the low ambient light.
“I came first…again,” I teased. “I won.”
His eyes met mine as he hovered above me, our noses a mere inch apart. He smirked. “Tell yourself that when my cum drips down your thighs in a few minutes.”
The attic stairs creaked and both of us whipped our heads toward the attic door.
“Come on, y’all, I heard something!” said a voice from the stairwell. “It’s got to be the ghost!”
“The spirit of Miss Kaye wants to party with us!” said another. “Maybe we can finally get footage of her for our channel!”
Beau jumped off me and I quickly scrambled up from the couch. I snatched up his jacket and hurried to hide behind a tall stack of cardboard boxes. My heart pounded as I held Beau’s jacket against my chest—as if that could hide the evidence of what I had just done.
Suddenly, a cool September breeze blew against my legs and I turned to my left.
Beau was straddling the frame of an open window that led out into the alley.
Dust stained the knees of his pants and the collar of his shirt was soaked with sweat.
His hair was a tousled mess and his mouth was stained pink from my lip gloss.
He raked his hair out of his eyes and shot me a look. “Thanks for the ride, Adams.”
My eyes dropped to his jacket in my hands. “Don’t you want this?”
He shrugged. “Keep it. It’s going to get chilly tonight.”
With a wink, he ducked out the window and disappeared down the fire escape.
I held my breath as the attic door swung open and two pairs of footsteps stumbled in.
“Damnit, John, there ain’t shit up here!” said a voice.
“I didn’t make up what I heard,” came the reply. “There was moaning, dude!”
“Maybe the ghost was here, trying to warn us that a Fontaine was in our midst and up to some sketchy shit.”
I pressed the jacket closer to my body as one of the men sighed. “Aw, hell. Let’s not waste the one good party this town has seen in a decade.”
I only released my breath once the footsteps had disappeared down the stairwell. My knees shook as my inner thighs grew sticky.
Ugh. The sooner I could get to a shower, the sooner I could erase every trace of that little tryst.
I didn’t know where my underwear went, nor did I know how I was going to inconspicuously sneak back down to my car.
But at least I knew I would never have to see Beau Fontaine again.
