A most unusual event for the Krewe to investigate, since the situation is reported to them via a new friend.

A spirit. A spirit from the past who has helped them before.

And through Detective Terry Mayberry, they learn as well that despite her only being missing for a few hours, they need to investigate.

They do. Because time is running out. Running out for the missing Cassie Canady, and for the celebrations being planned.

Something deep and dangerous is afoot, they discover, in that simple disappearance.
