Chapter 350 Zaras Zoo Plan

Noctilion turned his pitch-black eyes toward Aurelion, and his voice dropped into something low and sinister.

"Has anyone ever told you that you're not only as useless as your brother Pyrelion, but you've also picked up the Upper Realm's worst habit? Arrogance."

Aurelion immediately straightened his tiny body.

"Who are you talking about? Do you even know who my boss is now?

Zara! And in situations like this, seniority matters.

I got here first, so technically, you should call me Big Brother.

We're all eating from the same government bowl now.

Who's nobler than who? Hurry up and call me Big Brother. "

Zara fell silent.

What a clever little thing.

Noctilion seemed thoroughly speechless at Aurelion's logic. Too lazy to argue, he crawled to the edge of the sofa and prepared to rest.

Aurelion immediately told Dino to turn the tablet volume all the way up.

Noctilion said nothing.

If this had been before, with his old temper, a useless dragon like Aurelion would have been reduced to ashes long ago.

Not long after, Lucian arrived after work.

He had clearly spent some time preparing himself mentally before coming to find Zara again. The moment he entered and saw a second dark little dragon in her house, he instantly understood what had happened.

His gaze turned complicated as he looked at Noctilion. "Why did they hand another one over to you?"

Zara spread her hands. "Who else could they hand him to? Giving him to me was obviously the best choice. After all, I worry about the country and the people. I carry the burden of the world on my shoulders."

[They insisted on paying me. How could I possibly refuse? Besides, he barely eats anything. Ohohohohoho...]

Lucian carefully looked around. There were now two cauliflower snakes and one pig in the house. At this rate, who knew what else might show up later?

Would one house even be enough?

Lucian asked with some suspicion, "Are you planning to turn this place into a zoo someday?"

Zara paused. "A zoo?"

[Holy crap. Why didn't I think of that?]

The instant Lucian saw her eyes light up, he knew he had accidentally given her a terrible idea.

Zara immediately looked at him with great enthusiasm. "Lucian, brilliant. We can toss these two into a zoo and say they're a new species developed by the government. How about this? You invest, we open the zoo together, and we split the profits fifty-fifty."

Lucian was speechless.

Noctilion had only just arrived, so he did not fully understand what a zoo was.

Aurelion, however, understood enough to panic. "I am a dignified dragon, and you want to put me in a zoo so people can stare at me like a monkey?"

Zara waved a hand to comfort him. "Don't panic yet. Think about it. I'll apply to the government and have you listed as first-class protected animals. That's such a high status. You'll be national treasures!"

Aurelion lifted his little neck stubbornly.

"I still don't think it'll work. If we're locked up in a zoo, fine, but what about Dino?

Have you thought about him? He won't even be able to watch Peppa Pig anymore.

How lonely would our lives be? And if the people from the Upper Realm see that you locked us in a zoo, do you really think they won't fight you over it? "

Zara said, "I'd lend them thirty extra guts, and I still wouldn't believe they'd dare. At most, they could stand outside and watch. If they want to come in and see you, they'll have to buy tickets."

Aurelion was speechless.

Was she even human?

Oh, right.

He had forgotten.

She was never human to begin with.

She was a complete monster.

Unfortunately, that wicked little plan was ultimately stopped by Lucian.

And he had solid reasons.

"Opening a zoo isn't realistic at all," he said.

"Let's not even talk about anything else.

So many different species couldn't possibly be researched and developed in such a short time.

People would notice something was wrong sooner or later.

And Aurelion's problem isn't just that he looks unusual.

It's that he looks exactly like a dragon.

That alone would make people think too much.

Add in what just happened with the black dragon... "

Noctilion cut in, "My name is Noctilion. I have a name, thank you."

Lucian continued as if he hadn't heard him. "After the incident with this black dragon, if people suddenly saw another nearly identical black dragon, wouldn't they start asking questions?"

Noctilion, "..."

Zara thought about it and had to admit that Aurelion and Noctilion's appearances would be very hard for people to accept as "new species developed by researchers." And once the truth about the other world came out, people would accuse them of deliberately deceiving the public.

What if the zoo got smashed?

So the plan could only be shelved for now. Aurelion and Noctilion still had to stay at Zara's house.

When Zara went out, she could at least take Dino with her.

Still, Zara stroked her chin and thought of something else. "Aurelion and Noctilion have a grudge against each other. If you have time these days, why don't you take Aurelion to your place for a while?"

Lucian went still. "I don't think that's appropriate."

He was just an innocent bystander. He had no desire to get dragged deeper into this mess.

To his surprise, Aurelion reacted violently. He lifted his neck and stared at Lucian. "You dislike me?"

Lucian said, "That's not the issue."

Aurelion said, "So you do dislike me."

Lucian paused for a moment. Then he said, "Yes. I do dislike you."

Aurelion fell silent.

Then he started crawling toward the bucket in the kitchen. "I don't want to live anymore! There's no place for me in this family! What's the point of staying alive?"

Noctilion let out a nasty little laugh. "Looks like you're not as valued as I thought."

Zara said directly, "Everyone here is a dragon hostage.

Who's nobler than who? Besides, if we're really talking status, Aurelion's rank is actually higher than yours.

At least he's a legitimate guardian divine beast of the Upper Realm.

You're just a wanted criminal. The difference between your statuses is heaven and earth. "

Aurelion immediately lifted his head out of the bucket. "Did you hear that, dumbass?"

Noctilion said nothing.

"Wanted criminal?" Lucian raised an eyebrow and pointed at Noctilion. "He broke the law in the other world?"

Zara nodded. "Infamous, vicious, wicked beyond repair, a complete accomplice to evil, guilty of every crime imaginable, and so sinful that the other world would love nothing more than to wipe him out.

And I was the one who saved his miserable little life from their hands.

Yet he still doesn't know how to cherish it! "

[As expected of a wanted criminal with no conscience.]

Lucian stared at her.

Then he said, almost in disbelief, "This is the first time I've ever thought you sounded educated. That was practically a full criminal charge sheet."

Zara sucked in a sharp breath.

[Is this damn man born with a knife for a tongue? Clearly, it has been too long since anyone beat some sense into him, and now he is itching for trouble again.]
