20. Poke The Bear #2

“Yeah,” he said, his voice lower. “It sure the hell is.”

Jesus, could he see how turned on she was right now?

They moved out of the building, toward the front entrance, the cold air not doing much to cool the heat in her body.

Or maybe it was the heat coming off of Luca next to her.

“There he is,” she said, pointing, thankful their ride was early.

They climbed in the back seat, the two miles back to her place taking twenty minutes. Typical Boston traffic.

There wasn’t any flirting during that time. Just some conversation of who they’d met and talked to.

But there was still this spark of tension in the air. An underlying electricity that maybe the night wasn’t over for them.

Or she didn’t want it to be.

“How about you come up for a drink?” she asked. “Unless you want to go back to your hotel now?”

“How about a coffee since I’ve got to drive back.”

“Whatever you want,” she said.

They rode the elevator in silence again. The kind that worked her up rather than calmed her down.

The ding when they hit her floor felt louder than it ever had before.

They got off and went to her place, she opened the door, shut and locked it, then before she could make a move, his hand was in her hair and his mouth on hers.

Oh, thank god he knew what she was thinking.

“Tell me no,” he said.

“I don’t wanna, Luca.” There, she’d said to his face. Said it in a voice to set him off and let him know what she was thinking.

Her arms slid around his neck as she kissed him back, harder, deeper, making sure he felt exactly what she did.

He backed her against the door, his mouth opening, the kiss turning hungry, unrushed but urgent. Like he’d been holding himself together for far too long.

And she met him there, every bit of heat and want she’d been carrying finally spilling free. Her mouth crushed his, deepening the kiss so that he felt what she did.

His hand slid from her waist down her hip, settling on her thigh with a possessive squeeze that sent a jolt straight through her.

She gasped into his mouth, the sound swallowed by the kiss as he deepened it more. Slow, deliberate, like he was memorizing her. Like he’d waited long enough.

Her knee lifted instinctively, brushing his leg, inviting him closer. His grip tightened, his thumb pressed into the bare skin there, grounded and reckless all at once.

“God,” he murmured against her lips, barely a word, more a confession.

She answered by kissing him harder, pulling him in, letting him feel exactly how undone she already was. How the silence, the waiting, all of it had led to this.

Pinned between him and the door, heat pooled low and undeniable. She knew one thing with absolute clarity. There was no pretending anymore.

There was no stopping either.

Her hand went to the buttons on his shirt between them, giving him just a hint of what she was looking for.

His large fingers landed on her thigh pushing the slit out of the way and inched up closer to her heat.

Yes, please!

Then he found her, rubbed his thumb round her silk panties, which she was pretty sure were close to soaking wet.

His mouth was opening more, his head angling, his tongue invading.

Man, he knew how to kiss.

And just when she thought he was going to touch another part of her. Work her up some more. He stopped.

Stopped everything. Kissing her. Touching her.

Only his forehead moved as it landed against hers.

“What’s wrong?”

“Sorry. Didn’t mean to get out of hand.”

“I meant it,” she said, gripping his shirt and bringing him closer to prove her point.

He laughed. A forced one. Not even funny.

“I’m not prepared. I thought we’d get a kiss and that’s it.”

“You thought wrong,” she said, laughing. “I’m prepared. I’ve got condoms. If you don’t want to, just say the word, but I’m not saying it.”

He leaned back and looked at her. Looked right into her eyes.

“Are you sure?”

“I already told you I was and you’re killing the mood. Don’t leave. Don’t move. I’m coming back. We are going to pretend you didn’t just stop us.”

“What?” he asked, the confusion on his face.

“Hang on,” she yelled, hitching her dress up and running in her heels. She found her condoms and yanked one out, then raced back with it in her hand like a trophy. “Right here, against the door like I know was in your mind because it was in mine.”

“You’re not joking?” he asked.

“Man, you’re trying hard to kill a mood.” She grabbed his hand and put it back on her thigh once her back returned to the door.

He didn’t wait for her to give any more permission.

Thank God.

His mouth claimed hers again, his fingers hovering over her damp heat, her legs spreading some more to urge him on.

He slipped a finger inside, touched her swollen bud causing her to arch into him. To get closer. For more contact.

He didn’t leave her waiting before he thrust a finger inside.

“Oh yeah. Just like that.” She lifted one leg up and hooked it around his hip.

Fuck that. She needed more, even if she did enjoy his finger thrusting in and out of her.

She pushed him back a bit, tackled his pants, opened them wide and gripped his cock in her fist.

It had to be in her. It had to be now.

The condom went to her mouth, she ripped the edge off with her teeth and before she could put it on him and roll it down, he was taking it out of her hand and doing it himself.

She lifted, helped him find his way home, then wrapped her legs around his hips and held on for the ride of a lifetime.

Never before had anyone taken her against a wall like this, but she had no fear that Luca might drop her.

Or let her down.

Not with the way he was jerking up into her, hard, fast, and urgent. Trying to find the right spot to make her come.

It’d been so long, just a few more strokes and she’d be done.

Her fingers wrapped into his hair, claiming his mouth once again. He had one hand on her hip, one on the wall and was fucking her as if they were two teens terrified of being caught sneaking in the closet.

She had to end the kiss if she wanted to breathe because she was panting out with each thrust.

Her inner muscles were trying to grip him tight, pull him in, hold on all night.

And then she was coming.

She was throbbing and pulsing around his dick and he was thrusting into her so hard her back was riding the wall and if anyone was in the hall, they might think there was someone knocking on her door.

Her arms finally dropped away, just accepting everything he was giving her, until his forehead landed on her shoulder.

“Are you okay?” she asked. He was huffing out his breath harder than her.

“Yeah. I think so. I’m still standing, right?”

She looked down at the ground over his shoulder. “Looks it to me.”

“Thanks.”

“No, thank you,” she said tongue in cheek. “That was so needed.”

“I meant thanks for letting me know I was still standing. My eyes are shut. I’m afraid I’m dreaming.”

She laughed, thinking he was joking, but his head was still down.

Then she had to remind herself, she was his first after his wife died... over two years ago.

Why did that weight seem so much heavier now?
