FIFTY-ONE

JASPER

THREE YEARS LATER

Leaning back in my desk chair, I let my eyes fall shut, closing my fist tighter around the mound of hair tangled in my hand, forcing her to take my cock deeper down her throat, not letting up until she gags.

“Your wife isn’t going to be happy about this,” she teases, licking the underside of me at a feverishly slow place, knowing exactly how to drive me wild.

“One more word out of you … I’ll shove this cock so far down your throat and fuck it like that worthless pussy you keep throwing at me,” I growl, pushing her face back down, avoiding eye contact as I chase an easy release, my balls clenching as she swallows around me, coughing and sputtering.

It’s still early the morning, the employees shuffling in as the clock ticks toward the start of the work day, but the sins I’m committing are materializing in the air, it almost stuffy in this room as I chase my release, pushing every thought of deadly lust front and center, just to get this over with.

“Right fucking there, hold it.” I fist the roots of her hair, keeping her in place as I thrust until my load shoots down her throat, not allowing her to move until I feel her swallow every single drop.

“You’re getting so much better at this,” she purrs like a glorious sex-kitten, those baby blue eyes meeting mine as she climbs out from under my desk, landing her ass squarely in my lap.

“I don’t like pretending I’m cheating on you, Carter,” I argue, but she only pouts her lower lip, rolling her eyes as she snuggles into my chest, my heart thrashing as I come down from one hell of an orgasm.

“Oh come on, Mr. Smith, you love my games,” she counters, a small smirk erupting across her face, and I break, knowing that she’s right.

“Your turn, Mrs. Smith. Get that pretty ass in the chair.” I flip her over, dropping to my knees in an instant, her devilish giggles filling the otherwise silent office that we share, leaving us to play our filthy games while the other employees are none the wiser in their minuscule cubicles.

“The boss could walk in at any second,” she whines, wiggling in the chair as I plunge three fingers into her dripping pussy, feeling the moment the muscles clench, threatening to sever my digits at the knuckles.

“He can either watch, or join in. You like it when I offer you up to the boss, don’t you?” I slap her clit twice, eliciting a scream from her chest that echoes around the room, bouncing off the walls in delicious harmony.

“Oh god, yes!” She cries, the orgasm slamming into her as she soaks the leather seat, her feet pushing off the mahogany, causing the wheels to roll, but I catch her just before she slips away.

“You did so good, my little temptress of death,” I breathe in her ear, scooping her into my arms just as the fingerprint reader beeps, and the door opens.

“Jesus Christ, you demonic fucks. It’s nine a.m.,” Tyson grunts, brushing past us to his own desk, this office big enough for us all to have our own space.

Once we high-tailed it off the island we crash-landed on after the ambush of Carter’s father, we bounced around a few different places, but nothing felt quite like home until we rediscovered the beauty of New Jersey.

The three of us have been on the East Coast for a few years now, with Tyson running an international tech business, and Carter and I picking up the decimated pieces of the Masseria Family, making it whole again.

Nothing we tried to do with our lives felt right, like we were alternate versions of ourselves, waiting for the true villains that we are deep in our souls to return to the light.

Carter’s battle with depression was a dark cloud over the freedom we earned, but after the wedding, she lit up like a stick of dynamite, the only thing on her mind being power.

She was starving for something that would run through her veins like a shot of morphine, and when the opportunity presented itself to rebuild the Masseria Family, it was a no-brainer, and we were on a flight the next day.

“Oh come here, Tyson. I can play ‘naughty secretary’ with you later, after our lunch with Jasper’s mom.” Carter slips from my grasp, into Ty’s waiting arms, our dynamic still perfectly intact, even after all these years.

Of course, behind closed doors, she’s vulnerable and sweet with us, but when our girl steps onto the throne, she’s a natural born leader with an insatiable thirst for money, control, and of course, blood.

I, on the other hand, have absolutely no problem taking the passenger seat, acting as her right hand man, and while it took some getting used to in the streets, everyone within a hundred mile radius now knows that Carter runs this Family with an iron fist.

Deep down, we knew that we wouldn’t be fulfilled living average lives, our brains hard-wired into craving the chaos, and thrill of the kill.

Whenever Carter and I have to get our hands bloody, the beasts that we once kept on a leash are provoked, and there’s no feeling in the world that tops the moment when we take a life together, operating like a vicious husband and wife duo.

The other third of this marriage is Tyson, and he is married to Carter legally, for tax purposes to benefit the tech business, and if God forbid something happens to him, she’ll get everything – including the house we own, and the cars we bought – in his name.

It rarely gets mentioned, though, because the three of us fit together as we always have, never allowing something so insignificant like a signed piece of paper to get between us, or doubt the love we carry deep in our bones.

Keeping true to our promises, I share their last name, changing it to Smith to match theirs – after Carter’s favorite movie featuring the badass husband and wife duo – furthering the dedication we have for this relationship, and to this day, I never feel like the odd man out, or a third wheel in this marriage.

That day, in front of a willing officiant, we both said our vows, exchanged rings, and echoed ‘I do’ before kissing the bride, turning us from her boyfriends, to her husbands, and ensuring that this throuple lasts forever.

“Massi, you paying attention?” Ty snaps his fingers from across the room, garnering my attention as I realize I was lost in my own head.

“Yeah, something about my sister,” I groan, sliding a hand down my face as I’m reminded of the topic of our lunch, and the obligations I have regarding my sister, Alivia.

“The wedding is in a week, Jasper. Have you given her an answer? Because if she calls me one more time, I’m going to stab my blade into the nearest jugular,” Carter chimes in, her heels clicking against the tiled floor as she returns to her desk fully clothed, her ass still just as perfect as the day I met her in a too-tiny black skirt.

“It’s weird, isn’t it? Our father is still alive, technically by machines, so why would she even want me to walk her down the aisle?” I pace the floor, thinking out loud, but when my pretty little wife shoots baby blue daggers at me from across the room, I already know that I’ve lost the argument.

“Because you’re her big brother, and technically, your father is dead!

You’re walking her down that aisle, dancing with her, and whatever the hell else she wants because it’s her fucking wedding day!

” She shouts, pounding her fist on the desk as if it were a gavel, her Dona voice echoing around the room, and Ty smirks at me from his very silent side of the room, waiting for the moment I cave to her demands like every other man on this planet would.

“Fine. Only because you were so fucking nice about it, my fierce little firecracker,” I concede, knowing that while my sister has a second option for her escort, Carter did not, and that is still a pain that haunts her, even if she would rather die than admit it.

“Aww, Massi, you’ve turned into such a softie,” Ty teases, dialing in our private security guards, alerting them of our lunch plans and securing an escort for our afternoon.

“Bite me, Tyson,” I reply, noting as he walks around his desk and brushes his fingers along the cane, but opting not to use it as we head into our only meeting of the day.

His limp is still present, and after a string of long days, he gets sore, but more often than not, he goes without the cane, proving that sometimes, it’s truly mind over matter, and all you need is the right motivation to defy the odds.

The benefit of running a legitimate business, while leading an underground one, is that when you own the fucking building, you can do whatever the hell you want, and nobody can bat an eyelash at the characters who end up in our conference room.

Today, we have Rocco Corazza coming in for our monthly lunch, a tradition that we started once Carter took the throne, even though the first meeting was a bit hostile, considering what she did to one of his men all those years ago.

As retribution, we entered a partnership with the Corazza Family by opening up space for them at our port, and Carter had to deliver the apology of a lifetime, but as luck would have it, the guy whose fingers she sliced off was arrested for beating his wife — and was ousted from the Corazza Family — just before we came back into town, getting her off the hook from his rage-fueled ideas of revenge.

Now, we’re a deadly duo, both our Families profiting from the partnership, but over time, he’s become a friend to us, and we often take weekend trips into the City, with Carter and Allie forming an endearing friendship as well.

Just last month, we were invited to Rocco and Allie’s anniversary party, where Carter met the infamous Corazza sibling, Reilly, and the two of them hit it off, dancing and singing karaoke until the sun came up.

Since we won the battle against her father, my wife has come out of her shell, has friends of her own, and created a legacy from the ground up, proving that even though the strongest soldiers fall, they come back ten times stronger when they’re pieced back together.

Carter slinks in between us, pulling me from my thoughts as she laces her fingers through mine, Tyson occupying her other side, but her fearless attitude infects me with every step we take.

It’s intoxicating, watching Carter as she runs our men with grace and forgiveness when necessary, but also striking like a Titan when the crime fits the punishment, and I’m certain that she is doing exactly what she was born to do: lead.

A few years ago, I locked eyes with a girl in a crowded room, and the universe gave me my soulmate.

At the time, I had no idea how our lives would change, or that I’d share her attention and affection with my brother, but if I was forced to do it all over again, I’d refill her drink – vodka, straight with no ice – in every single lifetime.

Once upon a time, I swore that being anywhere in the same orbit as Carter Cassini was the beginning of my demise, but in all honesty, she’s so much more than that.

She is the temptress of death.

She is the ice princess of my dreams.

She is the leader of a dynamic crime Family.

Most importantly, she’s our wife, and if someone even breathes near her wrong, they’re signing their own fucking death wish.
