Epilogue

I watch as the human woman Bella leaves her office in a hurry.

She is gorgeous, though definitely not a natural redhead.

I wonder if her tits are real; they look it, but damn, they are near-perfect mounds on her petite frame.

Her blouse hugs her in all the right places.

I want her long legs draped over my shoulder while I feast on her.

She is perfect, though. I hope I didn’t scare her off.

My desire can be a little too much for a human, as I have learned over the years.

One too many have died, unable to handle the darkness that resides within me.

“Oi, you said no magic,” Blaine says, and I roll my eyes, sorting the piles on her desk.

“I barely used any. Who do you think she was on the phone to?” I ask them, knowing they also heard the rude man speaking to my beautiful little human like that.

She has enticed my senses; I want to know this woman, need to, and the more time I spend around her, the more I want her.

Her energy is mouth-watering; she is a little firecracker, yet I can feel something dark within her.

That is what calls to me the most. I love secrets, and I can tell she has some dark ones.

“No idea, but I would love to get my hands on them after how they spoke to her. Ex-lover, perhaps,” Xavier says.

“I have no idea, but I could smell her fear. Her heart was hammering the moment she heard his voice,” I tell them, and they also agree.

“He said he would be waiting for her at home,” I add, and they both nod.

“Looks like we may have to follow her to make sure nothing happens to her,” Xavier says.

Blaine walks over to me, running his hands over my chest. “Maybe just a little magic?” he whispers, his lips going to my neck while his hand grabs my crotch.

Younger demons are always drawn to my power, and I love fooling around with them.

Maybe I could have fun with them while I steal Bella from under them.

I don’t want to share, and there is no way she could handle all of us feeding off her energy.

I know they sense the same darkness within her.

Most humans have glowing souls, not much sinister in them.

They are just weak-minded and easily influenced.

But Bella has a dark past, her aura slightly darker than most, and the moment I saw it, I was drawn to her like a moth to a flame, and I know they are, too.

Something haunts her, and nothing darkens a soul unless they have done something terrible or lived through something that altered them.

The thought of someone hurting her angers me, and I don’t know where the sudden anger comes from.

“Fine, magic. But not on her,” I tell Blaine, his hand stroking my cock through my pants. I shudder against him, feeling his magic oozing out and feeding mine.

“Good, because I want to know what she is hiding in here,” Xavier says, walking over to the filing cabinet.

I watch as he presses his thumb to the lock before hearing it click open. He pulls the drawer open and pulls out her handbag.

“She doesn’t live far from here, only the apartment building two blocks away,” Xavier says before rummaging in her back. He pulls some pills out, looking at them. “Antidepressants and sleeping tablets.”

Blaine takes them, looking at them. “Now, why would she have this, let alone carry it on her? Who is she scared of?” Blaine says, reaching into her handbag and pulling out a gun.

I take it from him, look at it, and find it loaded.

“Now that is interesting,” I tell them, and they agree.

What is she hiding? Or better yet, of whom is she scared enough that she is carrying a gun with her at all times?

Hearing her heels on the marble floors, I look to the door, handing Xavier the gun.

They quickly place her bag back in, and he uses his magic to relock it before grabbing a pile of documents as she opens the door and walks back in with four coffees.

I smirk before taking one, and she rolls her eyes.

I definitely need to find out who this girl is.

I will have her, she will be mine, and I am going to love owning every inch of her.

Blaine and Xavier are also watching her carefully, trying to figure her out.

She sips her coffee, grabbing a stack of papers before shredding them when she checks them.

The noise is the only sound in the room as we watch her shred the documents.

“Are you going to watch or help? If not, get out,” she tells us, bending down to shred another pile from the throw-out pile of documents.

I watch her pants pull tighter over her plump ass. I want to spank her, brand her ass with my hand. The things I want to do to her. I adjust the front of my pants while she isn’t looking, though Xavier and Blaine do notice, and I see Blaine’s lips tug up.

“Want help with that?” he asks, his voice filtering through my thoughts.

“Maybe later. I am going to ask Eli for her file. I know he keeps records of all his workers. Stay with her,” I tell them, and they nod.

Little does she know she is never going to be alone again.

I don’t think I can stay away for long even if I try.

Something in me wants her, and it wants more than her soul.

She is completely unaware we are talking about her.

I turn to head for the door. I don’t want to leave them with her, but I also need to know more about her.

I want to know what makes her tick, what makes her, her.
