The Twin’s Apartment #3
Indi sat up as I rolled onto my back and pulled out my vape. She grabbed her phone, the screen lighting up nearly the entire room as she checked her notifications. I simply sat there and vaped, smoke clouding my face while I sulked.
“Well?” I grumbled. “What does he want?”
Indi crawled onto my chest and flipped her hair aside, still holding the phone. “He wants us to come to his place. Tonight.”
I rolled my eyes. “I’ve spent the last couple of days over there. I’m not going back.” I lifted the vape pen to take another hit, but she stopped me.
Fuck you, hermano. I already spent weeks tracking down Kief’s fucking men, breaking into an asylum to rescue your little white-haired girlfriend, only to come home and just be called back time and time again like a damn dog. I’m not your fucking bitch.
“Haze,” she whined faintly.
“No.” I sat up, ripping my arm free as she watched me. “I’m sick of this shit. Being ordered around, told what to do.” I stood from the bed, fixing my jeans. “I may have asked our brother for help, but I didn’t ask for this.”
Indi fixed her nightdress, watching me closely. “But Haze…he’s our brother. And this whole mess with Northern Lights…with Kief, well…we don’t have a choice.”
I brushed my hair back with my fingers. “And that’s my fucking point.
We didn’t choose this. It was force-fed to us.
If Felix wants to fight in this fucked up family war—then let him!
But I didn’t sign up for this! And neither did you.
” She watched me closely, speechless. “Indi.” I approached the bed and bent down to her level, noticing her watery eyes.
“Hey.” I reached out, cupping her chin. “What if we just grab our shit and run away? Just you and me…and Kush, of course.”
Her brows furrowed. “Run away?” she scoffed, slapping my hand back.
My jaw tightened at her temper as I tried to hold myself back.
“After everything Felix and Charlotte’s Web has done for us, you just want to run away?
!” She shot from the bed and tried to leave the room, but I grabbed her arm, stopping her.
She shot her head back towards me in anger.
“Let go of me, Haze.” I didn’t speak. I just stood there with a darkened expression, my eyes locked onto her. “I said…let me go—”
“No.”
She froze at the tone of my voice.
I stepped towards my twin, keeping my grip firm until I was mere inches from her body. She stared up at me, unsure if she should be afraid or impressed. “Haze…”
I gripped her throat, lifting her from the ground until I had her pinned against the wall. “I said no,” I growled. “The only reason I ever reached out to Felix, was because you left me, remember?”
“Haze.”
I didn’t let go, recalling what happened between us.
“You played me…broke a bong on my leg…and then you left me, Indigo.” Her eyes widened as I spoke her full name aloud, something I never did.
“You left me alone in that apartment. Sure, you came crawling back to me, but ultimately, I would have never felt so desperate…so utterly alone, enough so to call Felix had you not broken me.” A tear rolled down her cheek.
“Don’t you get it? All of this has been for you.
” My arm trembled as I tried to hold back all my emotions.
“I killed that fuck boy…helped dispose of Mary-Jane’s body…
and even helped Felix with Dream…all for you.
I’m not fighting this war for our family!
I’m doing it to protect you! Because no matter what happens outside these walls, you are the only thing that matters to me.
” Tears flooded my eyes as I released her neck and stumbled back.
“And now, this whole fucking web has put you in danger. Look at what happened during that car wreck! You could’ve died, Indi!
” She reached out to me, but I stepped back, creating some distance between us.
“No…no, you don’t get to comfort me when you are the cause of my torment. ”
I turned to walk away, but she ran to me, hugging me from behind. “Haze…” Her arms wrapped around my torso as she clutched me close. Soft sniffles were muffled against my back as I tried to resist, knowing I was powerless to her. “I’m sorry…I’m so sorry.”
Fuck.
Indi carefully spun me around to face her.
She wiped my tears and held my face in her soft palm, lifting my chin.
“I’m so sorry…for everything. But I won’t apologize for what we have.
” My eyes lifted as she spoke. “And if being a part of Charlotte’s Web, doing their bidding in this fucking generational war, is the only way to be together, then so be it.
Because I am nothing without you. And you are the only thing worth living for.
” She leaned in close, hesitant. “It’s just you and me, Haze. ”
A smile curled from the corner of my lips as I leaned down towards her. “Just you and me, little sis.” She smiled back, her lips meeting mine.
“I am sorry…about your bong,” she whispered between kisses.
I pulled back with a giant grin. “You broke my favorite bong. I still have the scar on my leg, you know.”
She bit her lower lip. “I know…I’ll get you a new one. I promise.” She kissed me again, wrapping her arms around my neck.
I lifted her body and carried her back to the bed. “Oh, I have a better idea of how you can repay me.” I spread her legs, kneeling at the bedside, listening as she responded loudly to my kisses along her inner thigh.
Buzz.
Buzz.
Buzz.
We both groaned, interrupted by Felix’s texts. “We can’t just ignore him,” she whined.
I reached over and grabbed Indi’s phone, answering the call. “Felix.”
Our brother’s voice paused before speaking up. “Haze. I tried to call you, but your phone’s off.”
For this very reason.
I kissed Indi’s leg, holding the phone to my ear, listening as our brother continued to speak. “Something urgent’s come up. I need you both to come over right away and—”
“Sorry, but were fucking busy, hermano.” I hung the phone up, turning it off before tossing it across the room.
“Haze!”
Before Indi could utter another word, I yanked her closer and met her excited cunt with my tongue. She shuddered at my hot, wet touch. “Now, where were we?”
