Chapter 50

Chapter Fifty

Xavier

Her screams will forever haunt me, and I hate Latham for making me do it.

He fears something happening to her. I get it, however, he shouldn't have forced my hand.

Pulling my teeth from her thigh, I look down at the scar it have left on her leg.

She has passed out ages ago. My venom writhes below her skin like silver veins, spreading throughout her petite body.

"Did you get it all?" Latham asks, and I glare at him.

"Of course I fucking did. You think I want to do that again?" I snap at him.

"There was no other choice, Xavier," Blaine tries to tell me.

They didn't just hurt her the way I did.

Latham brushes her hair from her face. Her body is drenched in sweat and even while passed out, her body trembles and twitches.

Blaine and Latham move their hands off her legs.

Their taints burn into her skin, and I look away, hating seeing her so defenseless against us.

It isn't natural; not for me, anyway. I like Latham and Blaine being mainly in control, but I trust them not to hurt me, despite them being a hell of a lot stronger than me. Bella, though, I’ve never wanted to force her into anything.

I shouldn't have had to hurt her like this.

"It's done now. She will be safe from him."

"Will she be, though? The fact he could ward off my mark?"

"His taint was stronger than we thought, but you said you couldn't taste him in her blood at all now?" Latham asks.

"No traces, so let's hope he couldn't track her here," I tell him.

"Doesn't matter. We are leaving tomorrow anyway," Latham says, and I nod.

I wonder briefly if Bella would be willing to go now after this or if Latham would have to drag her away kicking and screaming because I sure as hell won't be after doing this to her.

Although I enjoy feeling her stronger, no tainting is more potent than a venom one.

It's just excruciating, even for demons.

"She will understand," Latham says.

I scoff. "Understand? She looked real understanding when she told me no!"

"Blame me for it."

"I am blaming you for it. You fucking made me do it! There is no way I would have done that when she said no otherwise," I tell him.

"I don't mind being the bad one if it keeps her safe from my brother," Latham says, climbing off the bed.

"Where are you going?" I ask him when Latham heads for the door.

"Organize things for tomorrow. Keep an eye on her," he says, and I nod before crawling beside her while Blaine undoes the handcuffs, freeing her wrists.

I tuck her against me, and Blaine tugs the sheets and blankets over us before leaning down and kissing her cheek.

"You did the right thing, Xavier. We couldn't have him track her to Soya or have him call on her and her go willingly to him without realizing," Blaine whispers, and I look away.

He is right. That doesn't make me feel any better, though. I never wanted to hurt her. I know they didn't either, but her screams and the way she thrashed make me feel like shit.

Bella

Warmth surrounds me, but no pain. The pain has left, and I gasp, sitting upright to find Xavier molded around my body, and Blaine spooning Xavier.

Latham's hand is draped over my lap, his hand gripping Xavier's arm in his sleep.

I try to move out from under them when Xavier moves, the top half of his body moving into my lap as he wraps both arms around my waist, tucking his face into my legs and lower abdomen.

"I didn't want to, Bella. I never wanted to hurt you," he murmurs.

Latham's hand moves to Xavier's shoulder before cradling the back of his neck. Xavier's emotions are flooding through me, and I can feel how terrible he feels. I sigh, running my fingers through his hair.

"I know, but it's over now," I tell him, and he nods. "So, on a scale of one to ten, how bad does my leg look?"

He shakes his head. "You're beautiful, no matter what brands your skin."

"I take that as a ten. So, it looks terrible?" I ask Xavier.

He shakes his head before lifting it and kissing my bare thigh.

He moves, lying back so I can see it. Besides being red and angry-looking right now, it doesn't look too bad and is the same color as his venom.

However, I find two new tainted handprints on my thighs that stand out against my pale skin.

"How is it? He bites me, and his mark looks nicer," I snap at Blaine and Latham. "I'll never be able to wear a short skirt again."

"I don't want anyone seeing your legs anyway," Latham growls beside me, and I glare at him when he tugs me toward him and forces me to lie back down, kissing my hip.

"You're in my bad books," I tell Latham as I roll away.

I run my fingers through Xavier's hair when he places his head on my breast. I hear him sniffle, and I leans down and kiss the side of his forehead.

This isn't his fault. He just happened to be the one that tainted over the other mark.

At least he tried to say no to Latham; I know Latham would have done it without thinking twice if he had the choice, and he probably wouldn't have even warned me or apologized beforehand.

"I can make it up to you," Latham purrs, sitting up on his elbow.

His eyes flicker as he leans forward, raking his teeth down my arm.

"Yeah, how?" I tease, knowing precisely what he means.

He pushes me on my back before his lips cover mine as he kisses me, and I chuckle.

"Although I don't think you need to apologize to me. Xavier is the one upset. You made him do it," I mumble around his lips.

Before Latham tosses Xavier back against his pillow beside me, he nips my lip. Xavier grunts at the impact.

"Geez, a bit early for the rough stuff," Xavier whines before his words are cut off when Latham's lips leave mine to crash against Xavier's beside me.

Xavier moans into his mouth when Latham kisses him harder. My walls clench at the sight of them together when Latham pulls back.

"I'm sorry I made you mark her," Latham says, pecking his lips before tilting his head toward me.

"That's it? That's your big apology to him?"

"Why doesn't he have to apologize to you?" Latham growls.

"Because you forced him. He didn't want to do it," I retort.

Latham scoffs and shakes his head.

"I think you can do better than that," I tease, and Latham's eyes flicker.

"Is that so? Seems to me you just want to watch him with me," Latham purrs before leaning back toward me and kissing me.

"Hmm, well, you owe me an apology, too," I mumble around his lips.

Latham's hand grips my breast, squeezing while he kisses me.

"Since Latham is handing out blowjob apologies, can I have one too? Just because… I am sure I will think of something he can apologize for," Blaine says, and Latham growls, pulling away from me.

"I am not giving apology BJs."

"But I thought you were," I taunt.

Latham growls, his head whipping toward me.

"Ah, I don't think I can forgive you otherwise," I chuckle.

"You're being a brat," Latham purrs before gripping the back of my neck and forcing my lips apart as he kisses me.

His tongue is tangling with mine obscenely before he pulls away, leaving me breathless.

"I should spank you?" he growls.

"Maybe later, you got dick to suck," I tell him, and he growls.

"Off you go. Xavier is waiting for his apology," I tell him and lean down pecking my lips.

Xavier laughs as he climbs over me and on to him.

"You're lucky I love you," Latham growls at me.

"Wow, I think I like her apologies better," Xavier teases him and Latham growls, nipping at his chest as he presses himself between Xavier's legs.

Blaine pouts but leans over and kisses Xavier.

Latham sits, yanking off Xavier's pants, and I bend down, gripping Xavier's chin with my fingertips, pulling his lips from Blaine's, and kissing him.

Xavier moans into my mouth, making me pull away to watch Latham, who is stroking Xavier's hardened length.

I lean down, wrapping my lips around the tip and sucking on it. My lips leave his cock with an audible pop. Pecking Latham's lips makes my walls clench with arousal.

"Don't forget to swallow."

He glares at me, and I chuckle. I raise an eyebrow at him before he huffs, wrapping his mouth around Xavier.
