Chapter 3 #2
Jill ended up having a good time at the rehearsal dinner. Her brother had always been the fun-loving, life-of-the-party type, and it seemed he’d met a perfect match in Emma. Emma's warm laughter and easygoing nature complemented her brother's exuberance perfectly.
The two lit up the room, making everyone feel at ease and part of the celebration.
She watched her brother and Emma share a dance, their happiness radiating with every step.
It was clear to everyone present that they were deeply in love.
As the night went on, Jill found herself mingling with friends and family, and enjoying the delicious food and heartfelt toasts.
She was asked to dance a few times, and she accepted two of those requests, letting her hair down like she’d promised herself she would do and giving herself a chance to enjoy the moment.
But in everything she did, she remained acutely aware of his presence in the room with her.
Even though he’d kept to his agreement and stayed as far away from her as possible, she could still hear his laughter all the way across the room and see him standing next to Emma like the proud father he was every time she raised her head.
He seemed to have put his grumpy attitude on hold for Emma’s sake and was all smiles as he mingled with the guests.
It did something to her; that smile. Made her wish she could get him to be that happy.
Although she had no idea what she could give him that would make him happier than seeing his daughter marry the love of her life.
Every few minutes, their eyes would meet across the room, and she would feel that magnetic pull that made her brain go haywire and her pussy throb between her legs.
And the longer she stayed away from him, the harder it was.
She wanted to fuck him. There was no question about that, and reminding herself how inappropriate it was to think these things about her future father-in-law wasn’t helping.
This wasn’t enough to ruin her experience at the dinner, though, and she still had a great time.
When she was ready to leave, she said goodbye to the lovely couple and promised to be down bright and early the following morning.
Emma had asked Jill if she wanted to be an unofficial member of the bridal party, and she was thrilled by the honor.
It meant an early night so she could wake up early to help her new sister-in-law prepare for her special day.
The elevator doors were closing as she walked up to it, and she yelled at whoever was in there to hold it for her.
Running the rest of the way, she came to a stop at the elevators and froze when she found herself standing face-to-face with him.
She contemplated the wisdom of being in such a small space with him for a moment and considered waiting for the next elevator.
“In or out?” he asked with one corner of his lips raised in a smirk. “You can’t stay on the fence forever.”
Jill took a deep breath and stepped into the elevator. Mostly because she didn’t want him to think she feared being alone with him. After all, they were only going to be spending a few minutes, if that, together.
“What floor are you on?” he asked as he hit the button to close the elevator doors.
She told him and watched him press the button for her floor. Her eyes went to the only other lit button on the panel. “Executive suite. Why am I not surprised?” she sneered. “I still can’t believe you told me you were a mechanic.”
“Never told you that. I simply said I worked with cars. You chose to believe that made me a mechanic.”
“You own a fucking car dealership franchise,” she retorted. "That’s like the owner of Wendy’s saying he flips burgers.”
“No, it’s not. We also fix cars at the dealership, and I actually work on them. Also, it’s on you for thinking I was just a mechanic. How many mechanics do you know who fly first class?”
“I don’t know how much mechanics get paid, but considering what they charge me every time I take my car to the shop, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to think they can afford a first-class ticket,” she hissed.
“So what, you’re mad at me for having money?”
“No.”
“What are you mad at, then?”
“Who said I was mad?”
“Your tone and the fact that you’re looking at me like you want to rip my head off,” he replied, cool as a cucumber. It made her want to actually rip his head off... or give him head.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” She looked away. “It was a nice party tonight,” she said after a few seconds. “You must have spent a fortune on all this.”
“Do you have a problem with that too?”
“No. I think Emma is lucky to have a father like you. She’s amazing, and I figured you can’t be all bad if you raised someone like her.”
“Is that a compliment I hear from you?”
Her lips curled in a small smile. “Maybe it is.” She raised her head and looked at him.
Big mistake. The already small space grew even smaller, and she struggled to draw air into her lungs.
She remembered how good it had felt on the plane when falling asleep in his arms, and her bed lost all its appeal.
The elevator stopped on her floor, and the doors slid open.
She immediately hit the button to close them, and they continued climbing higher.
He grew still. “Jill, what are you doing?”
She shrugged. “Nothing,” she said as innocently as possible. “Just figured you could do what you did earlier and show me what it feels like to fall asleep in the executive suite.”
“I don’t think that’s a good idea,” he replied quietly.
“Why not?” She took a step toward him, a thrill traveling through her when he took a step back. She didn’t stop walking until she was standing right next to him. “I know you want this as much as I do.”
“It doesn’t matter. We both agreed this was wrong.”
“Weird, not wrong.” She looked up at him, her eyes round and wide. “Tell me, if I did not run away at the airport this morning, what would we have done?”
“That was before I found out your brother was marrying my daughter. It doesn’t matter now.”
“You know, technically speaking, you’re not my father-in-law yet.”
“Fuck me,” he groaned. “You can’t do this, Jill. You’re being...”
“What?” she asked breathlessly, leaning toward him so her breasts brushed against his chest. “A bad girl? Are you going to punish me, Da...”
“Don’t you dare complete that sentence,” he growled at her.
“Or what?” she taunted him, pressing a hand against his chest. She had no idea what she was doing. Had never had to seduce a man before and had nothing but instinct to work with. That and a burning arousal that erased every bit of fear and common sense she had left. “You’re going to spank me?”
“You’d like that, wouldn’t you?” He glared at her.
“As a matter of fact, I would love that very much. And when you’re done, maybe you could do that thing you did with your thumb again. You know, the way you rubbed it against my clit when your fingers...”
“Okay, that’s enough!” He threw himself away from her. “Have you gone mad?”
“Maybe I have,” she said, looking at him. “And if I have, it’s all your fault. I didn’t ask you to help me back at the airport or bring me up to first class with you. I sure as hell didn’t ask you to give me the best fucking orgasm of my life.”
“Like fuck you didn’t,” he spat. “Flirting with me the way you did... The things you said. You practically fell into my lap.”
“And you gave me a taste of something I’ve never had all my life. All I’m saying is we’ve taken a bite from the poisoned tree already. We might as well gorge ourselves while we can still get away with it. It’s not like we’ll be doing anything more than what we’ve already done.”
He raised a brow. “We go down this road, and I promise you we’ll be doing a lot more than that.”
“See, you want this too. Come on, I came here to have a blast, and even though it’s a little fucked up, you’re the one I want to do that with. Even if it’s just for a little while. Besides, don't you want to punish me for running away earlier? I have been a bad girl...”
“Jill...” he warned, his tone menacing and scolding. It turned the heat of arousal into a fiery flame.
“I know you want me,” she said. “I can see it in your eyes. Just because we stayed away from each other doesn’t mean I haven’t spent the whole night thinking of fucking you, and I know you feel the same way too.
Don’t think I miss the way you’ve been devouring me all night with those eyes or how jealous you got when I danced with those guys. ”
He raised a brow. “Jealous?”
“Don’t try to deny it. I know you were. Don't tell me you’re scared now.”
He looks amused. “And exactly what is it I have to be scared of?”
“I don’t know. You’re kind of old. Maybe you’re scared you won’t be able to keep up with me.”
“I know what you’re doing.”
“Doesn’t matter if it still works.” The elevator stopped, and the doors opened. Jill stepped out and stood in the doorway with one leg still in the elevator. “Come on, what are you waiting for?”
"For you to come to your senses.”
“That’s not going to happen. I’ve made up my mind about this, and I’m not changing it. What do I need to do to get you to stop fighting it? Do you want me to beg? Because I’ll beg. I’ll drop to my knees right now and...”
“Jill...”
“Suck your cock like you want me to.”
“Fuck me,” he muttered, and she could see his defenses start to crumble.
“One night,” she continued. “That’s all I’m asking for. One night and I promise I’ll be your good little girl.”
“You need to stop talking like that or...”
"Or what?” she countered. “What are you going to do? Punish me for being a bad girl, Daddy?”
“That’s it,” he hissed as he stepped out of the elevator and grabbed her hands. He wasted no time, pushing her against the wall and pressing his lips against hers.
