First Time with Her Spa Masseuse

First Time with Her Spa Masseuse

Spa Day

Chloe sat in the back of the rideshare with her hands folded in her lap, watching the city thin out into quieter streets.

The gift certificate had been sitting in her email for almost six weeks.

Her best friend, Jenna, had bought the “Restoration Package” from some fancy spa for her birthday which included a private mineral soak followed by a ninety-minute deep tissue massage, and had been relentlessly pushy about it ever since.

“You need this,” Jenna had said for the fourth time last week. “You’re wound so tight you’re going to snap. Just go. Let someone else take care of you for once.”

Chloe had finally booked it for a Tuesday afternoon when she knew the place would probably be quiet.

She was thankful for the gift, but she had never had something like it before, and part of her wished it was just a gift card to a restaurant or something.

She had never had a professional massage.

Nor a ‘spa day’ or mineral soak or reflexology or anything of the sort where a stranger would be touching her.

She didn’t even know everything this packaged entailed, or what she was supposed to do.

Are people naked for massages? Will we be alone in a room?

What if it hurts? Now that the car was pulling up, the nerves she’d been ignoring all morning settled low in her stomach.

The building didn’t look like much from the outside—pale stone, a simple black sign with the word Serein in thin gold letters, a heavy wooden door. She stepped out, thanked the driver, and stood on the sidewalk for a second longer than necessary, adjusting the strap of her bag.

Inside, the place transformed. The air smelled of warm cedar, something citrusy, and a faint mineral note underneath, like hot stones and clean water.

A variety of plants were expertly arranged throughout, adding to the serenity.

Soft music played somewhere far away—low strings, almost not there.

The lighting was dim and golden, the kind that made everything look better.

Chloe was impressed. She liked the vibe, and felt herself drawn into the relaxing atmosphere.

A woman at the front desk looked up and smiled warmly.

“Chloe? For the two o’clock Restoration?”

“Yes.” Her voice came out quieter than she meant.

“Perfect. You’re in the private suite today. Right this way.”

“Thank you.”

They walked down a short hallway lined with smooth plaster walls and small recessed lights. Chloe’s sandals made almost no sound on the wide-plank floors. She could already feel the shift happening in her body, the way her shoulders wanted to drop, the way her breathing wanted to slow.

The attendant showed her into a small changing room with a long bench, a thick white robe folded neatly on top of it, and a pair of soft slippers.

“Everything you need is in here. There’s a shower for you first, and your soak is ready whenever you are done. Just press the button on the wall when you’re finished changing and your therapist will take you through.”

“Thanks.”

The door closed with a soft click.

Chloe stood still for a moment, listening to the quiet.

Somewhere nearby water moved in a low, constant hush.

She untied the belt of her sundress first, letting the light fabric slip from her shoulders and pool at her feet.

The air in the changing room was cooler than she expected against newly bare skin.

She reached back and unhooked her bra, peeling the straps down her arms slowly.

Her breasts settled free, soft and heavy, the faint red lines from the underwire still pressed into her skin.

She folded the bra neatly and set it aside.

Then she hooked her thumbs into the sides of her panties.

The simple cotton felt suddenly intimate as she pushed them down over the curve of her hips, past the soft give of her stomach, and down her thighs.

She stepped out of them one foot at a time, the fabric whispering against her calves.

Completely naked now, she straightened and looked at herself in the full-length mirror.

The soft roundness of her stomach. The weight of her breasts.

The pale freckles across her chest. The neat triangle of dark hair between her thighs.

Her body looked fuller, more exposed under the warm spa lighting than it ever did in her own bathroom.

A low, unfamiliar heat stirred low in her belly.

It was just the nerves. Being naked in a new place, about to have a strangers hands on her bare skin.

It’s normal to feel a bit strange. She turned away from the mirror, cheeks warming, and stepped into the small open shower stall as instructed.

Warmwater rinsed the last traces of the day from her skin.

She shut it off quickly and reached for the thick white robe.

It was heavier than it looked and still warm from the heated cabinet. She slid her arms in, belted it loosely at the waist, and sat on the bench for a moment, pulse noticeable in her throat.

It’s just a bath and a massage, she told herself. People do this every day.

She forced herself to relax. Maybe I will find this really does help me chill.

After a minute she stood and pressed the small brass button on the wall.

Footsteps approached almost at once, and the door opened.

The therapist stood there.

She was taller than Chloe by several inches, dark hair pulled into a low, sleek knot that left the elegant line of her neck bare.

Her spa uniform was simple black—fitted trousers and a soft, short-sleeved top that clung just enough to show the full curve of her breasts and the lean strength in her arms and shoulders.

A thin silver chain rested at the base of her throat.

Her olive skin looked warm under the low lighting.

Dark eyes moved over Chloe in a slow, unhurried sweep that felt almost physical: the open collar of the robe, the soft press of her breasts against the fabric, the bare lower legs, the way the belt cinched her waist. The look was professional.

“Chloe,” she smiled. Her voice was low, slightly husky, with the faintest trace of an accent. “I’m Vespera. I’ll be taking care of you today.”

She stepped aside and gestured down the short hallway. “Your private suite is ready. The mineral soak is drawn. You’ll have twenty minutes to relax in the water, then I’ll return for your deep tissue. Everything is prepared.”

“Sounds good…Thank you.”

Chloe followed her, the robe whispering against her bare skin with every step.

The hallway opened into a larger, dimly lit room that smelled of the same warm cedar and orange blossom, and then something deeper and mineral.

A wide, deep soaking tub dominated one side—dark stone, already filled with steaming water that carried a faint sheen of essential oils on the surface.

Soft light glowed from recessed niches. On the other side of the room stood a broad massage table draped in crisp white linens, a small side table holding glass bottles of oil, folded towels, and a single white orchid.

The air felt thicker here, warmer, as if the rich room itself was waiting.

Vespera’s gaze rested on her once more, calm and assessing.

“Relax and breath deep in the water, and feel your stress melt away,” she said. “When you’re ready, lie face-down on the table under the sheet. I’ll knock before I enter.” A small, knowing pause. “Enjoy the soak. It’s amazing for loosening up.”

Then she left, the door closing softly behind her, leaving Chloe alone with the steam and the low, constant sound of music.
