In a car travelling down Melrose, Devon turned to Minnie, sitting next to him along the back seat. They were heading to Wilshire Boulevard in the morning sunshine, to William Morris for a breakfast meeting with her American agent to discuss some very exciting prospects that had landed on their desks. Minnie stared straight through the front windscreen and shook her head in astonishment.
