Chapter 28 JOSIE
“Ares? This…” It’s like she had stepped into an Architectural Digest magazine or was in that TV show her mom sometimes watched about celebrity homes.
“The grandeur is intimidating but I’m hoping you love it.”
Soft lighting came on, warm glows that filled the voluminous space with light. Glancing above she saw a skylight.
“There is so much to show you,” Ares took her hand.
The voluminous space reminded her of being in an art gallery.
“Is that a pond?” Josie glanced up, noticing the skylight in the tall ceiling. The sunlight would reflect right into the pool beneath.
The warm flooring underneath was a soft sandy tone. The slab walls looked like they weren’t real.
To her left a space with low couches that didn't intervene with the sight lines of the expansive windows. Windows from floor to ceiling took up the entire perimeter.
To the right, a luxury kitchen right out of her dreams.
"If you don't like the stove, tell me and we'll get a new one." Ares touched a panel; the light wood kitchen came into view. Gorgeous countertops. A huge sink.
“This is a La Cornue stove.” Touching it felt like stepping behind the velvet rope.
“That’s what my designer told me. Do you like it? I don’t expect you to cook for us every night. I’ll get rid of it.” Ares rubbed his hand behind his neck.
She could barely look at him because if she did, she would burst into tears.
But she wrapped her arms around his waist. “It's the kitchen right out of my dreams.”
“I told you, we’re going to dream together, baby.”
He swept his lips against hers and kissed her. Her heart beat wildly against her ribs as she tried to process what this space meant but it didn’t matter. The deepening of the kiss drove out her worries and she didn’t care, she’d be happy as long as she was with him, no matter where he brought her.
“So much more to see,” Ares guided her out of the kitchen.
“Are there curtains? I might feel like I'm on display here.”
"Yes, there are custom made screens that come up but there's no neighbours. That's all coast out there disappearing into the mountains. The closest neighbours are six acres away.”
They passed a dining room, with a low long stone table and curved chairs.
Further into the house, the flooring changed to plush carpet.
Plants were dotted throughout the house, in little insert nooks and shelves. Art hung on the walls that divided the space.
“This is my office,” Ares held her hand, stepping into a room with lots of bookshelves and a round circular desk. “Watch this.”
He pressed a panel on the wall and frosted screens came up. “Okay, I’m in a different world.”
“This way I can be in here working with privacy and its soundproofed. I won’t hear your music or our Goldendoodle playing.”
“Ares, I can’t believe this house.”
“Believe it,” He took her in his arms, pulled her to his chest, leaned down and kissed her. His tongue found hers, stroking it in a light dance until her head swam and her pussy throbbed.
“Let me show you the gym.” He touched the panel on the wall, the glass walls disappearing, and he led her next door to a gym with a rowing machine, free weights, and a treadmill.
“I don’t think I’ll use this room much.”
“Every room on this side has soundproofing and panels built in. You won’t hear my music.”
“Your old man music?” Josie flashed him a grin.
“Brat,” Ares patted her ass and she leaned against him, giggling.
“Come on more to see,” he took her hand and led her back to the hallway.
“It feels like we are walking in a circle.”
“Yes, this part of the house does feel like that. A designer lived in these houses and this one they used as their showroom.”
Down a hallway with colourful art on the walls, brought them to a sitting room with cozy couches, and a floating table.
"Outside here is the balcony and outdoor entertaining area."
Josie couldn't understand what she was seeing.
"A guest bedroom.”
“It’s nice.”
Words were inadequate to describe the luxury of the bedroom with the wooden bed frame, fluffy pillows, soft carpeting and bathroom but she was running out of things to say.
"Laundry room, closet storage space."
This house was ultra-modern. Ultra rich.
They stepped into a hallway that broke up the feel of walking in a circle.
"Our bedroom."
“Ares, it's so pretty.”
There was a sitting room to the left, then a massive bed and a fireplace in the wall. To the right was an empty room, except for a gold rug.
“If you look up, you’ll see that I had anchor points and rings installed in that beam.
There are also anchor points on the floor.
I thought this would make a good play space.
We can add whatever other furniture we want.
There are hidden doors here,” Ares walked to the far wall.
“That closes in this room and it’d make it completely private if you don’t want our guests to wander into the space.
Of course, nobody knows when it's like this.”
“This is beautiful…” she said but her tummy tightened into the ball. Ares talked as if he wanted her here in this house, with him.
She glanced at the beam. This was one of the few rooms that didn’t look out onto the views.
“You bought this house?”
“Yes. I did.”
“What about your brother? I thought you had promised to always live with him.”
“Things change,” Ares said softly. He looped his arm through hers. “Logan wants to move. This is a compromise.”
Walking toward the front door, Josie took in all the details and couldn’t believe she was standing in this house.
House wasn’t the right word.
Palace on the coast?
“Watch this.” To the left of the front door, Ares tapped the wall.
The wall rolled up, revealing a long narrow room. “Come on through.”
The walls were a muted gray and the room empty. “Haven’t decided what to do with this space yet. Maybe we should let the neighbours decide.”
At the end of the hallway, there was a door inset into the wall. Swiping his thumb against the lock, Ares grinned. The door beeped, and opened, onto a large white space.
“The three of them can live here. Technically it’s living with them but this is a whole separate house.”
“Wow.”
“The ceilings are 18 feet. Unlike our house, this house is three stories. There is more room here than where we currently live.”
Josie starred up, at the staircase that looked like it was carved out of marble. Each floor had a clear glass railing.
While the other house was also modern, this architecture felt very stark reminding her of an office building.
“I think they’ll like it.”
“Me too,” Ares brushed his hers, kissed her until her lips felt sore in the best way.
“Let’s get back to our house. I have one more thing to show you.”
On the walk back, Ares took her toward the bedroom, then stopped, turning right. The flooring changed to tile; lights came on as they stepped foot into the room.
"Oh."
The mosaic tile on the floor, led to a circular pattern featuring an inground hot tub. She turned to look out the windows.
She couldn’t make much out in the dark but she could easily imagine how this room would be in the daylight.
Josie swallowed past a lump in her throat. She knew that the size of the house didn’t reflect what was in it. She and her mom had lived in their two-bedroom house for Josie’s whole life and she loved every part of it.
But how Ares talked about this house…as if it was their house…. pulled at her heartstrings, making her head swim with want.
“Josie?” He caressed her cheek.
“You said something about anchor points?”
He flashed the smile that made his dimples appear. She loved that smile so much.
“Yes, I did.”
“That room looks so pretty. Like it could be in a rope bondage photo shoot. Girls like me don’t belong in those photos.”
“I don’t know about other girls. But I know you belong wherever you want to be. Tonight, I hope it's in my ropes. If you want to be suspended, I'm happy to make you fly baby.”
Her pulse raced. “This is the best Christmas ever.”
“It's not over yet,” The way Ares smiled at her, made her melt.
In the room with the golden rug, Ares disappeared, then came back with two water bottles. From a hidden closet, he took out a pair of safety sheers, and bundles of black rope.
“You want to do this?”
Josie glanced at the ring above her. “Yes.”
“Go use the washroom, freshen up and meet me back here in ten minutes.”
Josie let out a nervous giggle, but then did exactly what she was told. Her hands trembled with nerves but when she saw Ares stand under the ring she calmed down. He stood with his arms to the side.
“My stomach is all fluttery,” Josie said as she started unbuttoning his shirt. But by the time she had the last button undone and Ares wrapped her in his arms, her nerves had calmed down.
“It’s a new experience. I got you Josie. I’ll keep you safe.”
“I know you will. I trust you.”
Ares touched his lips to hers, kissing softly. “I need you to stand for about twenty minutes. If you need to take a break, tell me.”
“I want to do this. But I might need a break.”
“Then we’ll take a break. The first step is a chest harness.
Here we go.” Ares unraveled the rope and she willed herself to let go as he made the first pass.
The hemp rope felt like an old friend, like something she had been missing on her skin.
When he wrapped the rope, pulling her boobs between the loops, Ares leaned down, and took her nipple into his mouth.
The avalanche of sensations had her gasping.
Pleasure shimmered through her, as he licked and twirled his tongue around her nipple.
He let go but held her nipple with his thumb and index finger, squeezing it as he took her other nipple in his mouth.
“Oh!” She felt his teeth grace her hardened point.
He let go and calmly finished the chest tie.
“How do you feel?”
“Snug. Secure.”
“Good,” Ares ran his finger in between the ropes, checking the fit.
“I feel like I'm being hugged."
"You look so hot. I could fuck you right here.”
