Chapter Five #4
Jeremy nods, languidly moving his heavy arm between his legs to touch Merle’s hand that’s still stroking out his dick.
He doesn’t last long. As soon as Merle’s hips twitch to an end, Jeremy tumbles over the edge himself.
It doesn’t matter how tightly Merle’s hand clenches around his girth, he undeniably loves how the cum feels filling him up.
His groin pinches with pleasure and explodes outwardly, sparks flying behind his eyelids.
They regain their breath together, a few moments of reprieve to enjoy the post-orgasm high. Jeremy is the first to move, pulling away from Merle and stifling a groan as the cock slides out of him. He sits up on the edge of the bed and glances over his shoulder.
Merle looks up and catches Jeremy’s eye.
He’s never seen Merle in the daylight before.
He’s about five times hotter than he is by moonlight, almond colored skin smooth and almost sparkly like his pores have caught some microscopic morning dew.
Jeremy suddenly hates to leave Merle knowing that this will be the last time they’ll see each other, possibly ever interact.
Jeremy smiles weakly at Merle and tells him, “So, this has been great.”
Merle lifts a brow, “What? You kicking me out?”
Jeremy chuckles, “No, stay as long as you want.”
“Thanks,” Merle smiles softly back, “I guess I won’t be able to see you again before you go?”
“Yeah,” Jeremy chews on his lip, “But this has been great.”
Merle laughs, “You already said that.”
“Right. What I mean is… I like you.”
“Me too,” Merle looks over Jeremy and then asks, “If I ever find myself in Colorado, can I hit you up?”
Jeremy genuinely smiles, leaning into the bedding, “Absolutely.”
Merle reaches forward and touches Jeremy’s jaw, pulling him down toward him.
Their lips touch and Jeremy immediately wants to pull away again.
Everything is so great except that kiss.
It turns him off, the lack of substance there.
Their lips press together for a moment longer but Jeremy can’t take much more. His smile is thin as he pulls away.
Rushing to take a shower and get ready, Merle is still lounging in Jeremy’s bed as he says another goodbye and races out the door.
He’s definitely keeping Clark waiting, tapping his foot in the elevator’s slow descent to the lobby.
Speed walking through the lobby, it’s easy to find Clark standing in a circle of loveseats.
His arms are crossed and his face is stern even in profile.
Jeremy approaches him with bated breath, greeting innocently, “Clark, sorry-”
“Where the fuck have you been?” Clark reels around to him.
Jeremy shrugs, hoping his blush isn’t apparent, “I told you I didn’t want to keep you waiting.”
Clark squints, giving Jeremy a blatant once over. He grimaces, sounding annoyed as he says, “You’re glowing.”
“Thanks?”
Clark shakes his head, “You did it, didn’t you? You fucked the surfer.”
Jeremy looks around to make sure no one is in their direct vicinity, saying obstinately, “So?”
“I can’t believe you,” Clark scoffs and turns away, starting to walk toward the entrance, “You slut.”
“What’d you just call me?” Jeremy hisses under his breath, picking up the pace and staying in stride with Clark.
“You heard me. And it’s true,” Clark raises his nose in the air as they exit, stepping out to another sunny day where a black town car is waiting for them in the valet circle.
“Where do you get off?” Jeremy’s actually mad, squaring up to Clark as they make it to the car.
Clark replaces the driver at the open passenger door and holds it for Jeremy, turning to him with a scowl and saying, “Get in, we’re going to be late.”
“Forget it, you can’t-”
“Jeremy.”
Huffing, Jeremy shifts his weight and huffs, “What?”
“Please.”
Jeremy stares Clark down but loses the battle, that striking green gaze much more intense than Jeremy’s. He submits and ducks his head down as he climbs into the town car. The interior is spacious, Jeremy sitting on one side and Clark getting in on the other, closing the door behind him.
Clark crosses his arms and sets his sights out the tinted window, quiet and brooding. Jeremy deflates a little in the silence of the ride, eventually grumbling out, “So, how was the horseback riding yesterday?”
“Amazing. Incredible. You totally missed out,” Clark quickly barks.
“Well, I wish I could’ve come.”
“I do too,” Clark claps back, finally looking over to Jeremy.
He takes a deep breath and admits, “Look. I know I can come off as… Promiscuous. I just don’t see why you care so much.”
Clark chews on that, looking Jeremy over, and then staring into his eyes as he asks, “Did you really have sex with that man last night?”
Jeremy exhales heavily, nodding.
Biting down hard on his bottom lip, Clark looks back out the window and grumbles, “Unbelievable.”
“And what’s so unbelievable about it? That a guy wants to be with me?” Jeremy’s getting more offended by the moment.
“No, that you’re off being ‘promiscuous’ when you’re supposed to be here for me!”
“I don’t think it’s your business what I do in my free time.”
“Actually, it totally is my business,” Clark bares his teeth, “You make it my business when you keep me waiting. And when you go and nail my ranch hand!”
“Will you lay off about Barry?” Jeremy leans forward, “None of this was an issue when you thought I was with Jackie. So what’s so different? Is it cuz I’m with men, is that it?”
“No, of course not,” Clark shifts in his seat, “It’s that they don’t deserve you! A ranch hand and a surfer? Who are they? You’re better than that!”
Jeremy exclaims, “Clark, stop! Why are you acting so jealous?”
“Jealous?” Clark laughs.
“Yeah!”
Clark loses his snide smile, “I don’t get jealous.”
“Could’a fooled me.”
Clark huffs and sits back in his seat. He puts on his sunglasses and looks out the window, silent and tense the rest of the ride.
They make it to Kualoa Ranch, taking a Gator through the thicket down to the beach where Eneki and a couple other horse wranglers along with the stunt coordinator and stills photographer are waiting for them.
They already have Haukea tacked up, the horse giddily tapping her hooves in the sand as Clark approaches her.
Eneki walks up to Jeremy, handing him a walkie talkie, “Nice of you to show up.”
“Sorry. Clark wanted to ride together.”
“Mhm, so,” Eneki claps him on the back, “Here’s how today’s gonna go. We need to work Haukea up to sprinting in knee deep water. So, you run it first with Kau and Haukea in tow. Then, you and Clark will run it. Then, Clark runs it solo. Copy?”
Jeremy copies. He goes over to Kau, who’s also been tacked, and saddles up. Trotting over to Haukea, Clark’s already gotten on her back. Jeremy tells him, “Hey, get off for this first go. They want me to run it with Haukea in tow.”
“Eneki, is that right?” Clark calls over Jeremy’s head.
Eneki nods, “Yeah. Come ride on the Gator to the other side with us. If this run goes well then we’ll add you next.”
Clark grumbles to himself but gets off Haukea. He hands the reins to Jeremy and their hands touch. He wouldn’t think much of the brief brush of contact if Clark hadn’t looked over his shoulder and caught Jeremy’s eye from over the rim of his sunglasses when he did it, fingertips lingering.
The interaction shakes Jeremy, watching as the ATV kicks up loose sand and dwindles in the distance.
Jeremy reaches behind him and ties Haukea’s reins to his saddle.
Doing such a high speed tow like this is tricky, especially with the addition of water, and Jeremy needs to stay focused so he doesn’t get his leg crushed or have these thoroughbreds tripping over each other.
Eneki calls over the radio that they’re set on their end, additional horse wranglers in place to catch Haukea or Kau if anything goes sideways. Jeremy takes a deep breath, presses the rim of his hat down so it’s cinched on his head, and snaps the reins, “Hi-ya!”
Kau giddies up, Haukea getting the memo.
They start at an easy canter before Jeremy is squeezing his thighs and urging Kau to go faster into a good gallop.
The water splashes up all around them, soaking Jeremy’s boots and jeans.
He doesn’t pay that any mind, keeping an eye on Haukea behind him.
She’s keeping up but continues neighing, throwing her head and tugging back on Kau’s saddle.
Jeremy reaches behind and grabs the reins, steadying the two sets of the leather straps in both hands and instructing the horses as they gallop at full speed.
“Woah, woah!” Eneki calls out. Jeremy looks ahead and notices the group is closer than he expected. He pulls back on the reins slowly and brings the horses to a trot, turning them around so they don’t run into the group. Eneki claps, “Good riding!”
“Alright, my turn,” Clark calls out, coming up to Jeremy and getting on Haukea.
“Watch her, she was a little skittish,” Jeremy advises.
“Uh-huh,” Clark lines Haukea up with Kau, “Real question is, are you ready to lose?”
“Excuse me?” Jeremy asks as the Gator takes the team back the other way.
“Oh, don’t act like you don’t know what this is,” Clark looks ahead, chewing on his lip, “Yep. Gonna kick your ass.”
Jeremy tilts his hat down, accepting the challenge, “We’ll see about that.”
Eneki calls back over the radio that they’re set. Jeremy and Clark exchange one look, lean forward on their respective saddles, and kick their stirrups at the same time.
The horses go flying across the beach, each of them in their own disadvantage; Jeremy up closer to the loose sand, Clark mostly running through the water.
Still, they ride at break neck speeds, each of them standing up in their stirrups and leaning over their saddles to better ride the lightning creatures.
Jeremy feels all his frustration toward Clark - past and present - surface and explode in his riding.
They stay neck and neck, neither of them letting up as they approach the team.
