25. Celine
Celine
Don’t ask me anything that was talked about in my lesson.
From the moment I sat down in my seat to when we were dismissed, I blocked everything out.
My eyes remained on the notebook with a pen in hand the entire time, but not once did the tip of the pen meet the paper.
The story I have been writing sits unfinished.
I was deep in a daze today, thinking about the things that transpired in Alex’s office and how it felt to have his mouth on me. To have his dick seated deep inside me. There was another side to the man that had come out to play. Something dark took over Alex’s body.
A beast.
That’s what he said. That I unleashed a beast, and I’m not sure whether I should be scared or not.
I think I may have broken him if I’m being honest. The priest who snapped the vow he took in half, all for a woman he had only known for a few weeks.
It makes me wonder if he will ever return to the priest he was before.
“Earth to Celine.” Esther waves a hand in front of my face.
I blink out of my thoughts to see that I am standing in the corridors outside the classrooms. My brows furrow as I scan my surroundings. When did I walk out here?
“What is going on?” she asks, voice laced with concern.
Bringing my eyes back to hers, I ask, “What do you mean?”
“Uh, the fact that you were so out of it during the lesson. I tried to get your attention multiple times to point out that Sister Ruth has toilet paper stuck to her foot.” She sighs. “I had to laugh about it by myself because you were on another planet.”
“Sorry,” I apologize. “A lot is going on in my head.”
“Does it have anything to do with the visit with your mom this morning?”
“Yeah,” I lie because I can’t tell her the real reason my mind is so occupied. “My dad showed up to this visit. It was… something. I had to pretend that this place is actually changing me.”
“Yuck.” Her face scrunches up.
“Right,” I say. “Do you have that phone on you?”
“I do.” She pats the part of her dress where it’s hiding. “I was worried that Father Alexander would have confiscated it after he caught you, but he hasn’t said anything to me about it.”
“Good. Can I borrow it? After the morning I had, I need to call my friends.” I need to tell them about hooking up with Alex because they are going to flip their shit.
Esther looks around the hall, making sure no one is paying attention to us. When the coast is clear, she pulls it from her dress and discreetly hands it to me.
“Don’t get caught this time. If anyone besides Father Alexander sees it, they will take it.”
“I’m going to sneak up to my room to call them,” I reassure her. “If anyone asks, I’m taking nap.”
“Okay. Just get it back to me whenever.”
“Thank you, Esther.” I smile at her and turn to head to my room.
Once I’m behind the security of my bedroom door, I flip the phone open and dial Vince’s number. A couple of rings filter through the phone before he picks up.
“Celine?”
“Were you expecting someone else to call you from a random number?” I joke.
“Actually, I have this number saved now! That way I know it’s you, but I didn’t know if your new friend in there would have randomly called.”
“Why would she?”
“Who knows? You said she would fit in with our group, but what if she’s secretly crazy and wants to see who you are talking to?” he says and then gasps. “Maybe she wants to be your only friend, so she wants to know who Amelia and I are, so she can get rid of us when she gets out of there!”
The palm of my hand meets my face. “You are so ridiculous.”
“No, I am realistic.”
“She isn’t going to kill you guys.” I laugh. “Speaking of Amelia, is she there?”
“Yes, she just got here. We have been devising plans to get you out of there.”
“Like I said before, that’s not needed. I can’t just run away from these problems. If I do, my parents would unleash literal hell on me.”
“Let them!” Amelia says from farther away. “Then we will all burn together.”
“I love you guys, but I don’t need help,” I tell them. “Also, you two planning my escape isn’t the reason I called.”
“Is it because you missed our voices?” Vince asks.
“Partially,” I say, then fall silent.
“Celine… What’s going on?” Amelia questions.
I chew on my lip. “I did something… bad.”
Vince squeals with excitement. “You hooked up with the hot priest!”
“Vince, we established that no matter how much we want her to hook up with the hot priest, Celine isn’t going to.”
I remain silent on my end. Not knowing how to go about telling them that they are right. Thankfully, Amelia takes my silence as an answer.
“Celine Monroe!” Now it’s Amelia’s turn to gasp. “You didn’t. Did you?”
“I might have,” I say softly.
“Shut the fuck up!” Vince yells. “Tell us everything!”
Looking at my door, I keep my voice low because who knows if Alex is standing out there.
“Something happened between us in the confessional booth and his office.”
“Twice?!” Amelia questions.
“Wait, rewind on that. The confessional booth?” Vince is never one to skip over the details.
“I may have snuck into his side of the booth and… grinded on him while he fingered me.”
“Holy shit!” They both exclaim.
“How the hell did that even happen?” Amelia pokes for further details.
For the next few minutes to explain to them what happened in the booth and the events that led up to it. Alex’s confession and how his words caused me to go into his side of the booth to begin with.
“That is so hot.” Vince states. “And then something happened in his office?”
“Yeah.” I scratch at the back of my neck. “It was after my parents visited, and yes, both of them came today, and I’ll get into that later, but he asked to see me in his office after. We talked about what happened in the confessional and mutually decided that we wanted to keep hooking up.”
“Again, hot,” Vince says immediately once I finish talking.
“What was hot was that he let me tell him what to do. Then there was the fact that he buried his face and dick between my legs.”
“You had sex with a priest!?” Amelia about combusts.
“No!” I shout and then lower my voice. “We didn’t have sex. The head priest was in the hall, so it got cut short, but he still shoved himself inside me for a brief second and said it was to prepare me for when he does fuck me because my god, he is huge.”
“I might have to retire this word from my dictionary, but that’s fucking hot. And he is huge? How big are we talking?”
“Big. And he is also thicker than I’ve ever seen. I about died when he just rammed himself in there and didn’t give me time to prepare.”
“Death by dick.” Vince sighs. “What a way to go.”
“I can’t believe you’re hooking up with a priest.” Amelia chimes in.
“Me neither. After Alex, I don’t know how I’ll ever go back to another man.”
“What if you just live in the convent? That way, you never have to leave him,” Vince suggests it as a joke.
“I’m not trying to stay here longer than I have to.”
“Do you think he would leave the convent?” Amelia asks.
I roll my eyes. “You guys, I’m hooking up with the man. It’s not like we are about to ride off into the sunset togeth—
“Who are you talking to?
I pause mid-sentence when I hear Alex’s voice from behind, and I immediately spin around on the bed to face him, but then my body stiffens when I see the frustration in his eyes, and all the noise around me fades as my brain begins to scramble.
How much did he hear?
How long was he standing out there?
I begin to feel uneasy when I think back to this morning, the memory of our pinky promise that I insisted on to solidify our agreement to not tell a soul…
A promise I broke in the same day I made it.
“No one,” I lie and then curse in my head when I hear Amelia and Vince through the phone. I squeeze it in my hand, wishing it would snap in half to get them to shut up.
“What did I say about talking on the phone again?”
“Not to do it,” I respond softly, fear of making him disappointed rolls through my body.
Alex hums and walks towards me calmly, which does not match the hardened expression on his face. His arm reaches around me and snatches the phone out of my hand, without wasting a second, he slams the phone shut.
