6. Bianca
Chapter 6
Bianca
D riving through the gate to Zack’s mansion, my heart is a pitter-patter of nerves and anticipation. After yesterday’s discovery and subsequent kiss, we’d decided that it would be wise to get to know each other better—especially if we were going to pull off this fake relationship thing without anyone suspecting.
The atmosphere of Zack’s home fills me with a sense of wonder. As I approach the grand entrance, the fragrance of blooming roses fills my nostrils while I watch three swans glide across a series of ponds. The sound of water splashing from fountains mingles with the calls of peacocks wandering throughout the rocky landscape.
Zack stands tall at the door, his very presence demanding attention. He is clad in a sharp suit that hugs his sculpted muscles, showcasing his strength and authority. His jaw is sharp and angular, exuding a sense of unbreakable determination.
Inside, the mansion showcases eclectic decor, with discreet servants bustling through grand hallways adorned with eccentric art pieces.
His smile is disarming as his amber eyes light up. “Welcome to my humble abode.”
As warmth pools in my belly at his nearness, I’m unable to resist a tease. “Your humility is astounding.”
He laughs, a sound that vibrates through the cavernous space, and leads me into the dining room. Candlelight flickers, creating shadows that dance along the walls. The dining table set for two speaks of an intimacy that can only happen between him and I.
The aroma of roasted meats and savory spices fill the air, making my mouth water with anticipation.
He pulls out a chair for me. “Hope you’re hungry.”
Something about this—about him—makes my body tingle with an awareness I’ve never experienced.
I settle into the plush velvet seat. “Starved.”
After the meal is served on multiple silver trays, we indulge in a lavish feast, savoring the decadent food and wine as we laugh and discuss the chaotic events of the past few days.
Zack’s demeanor shifts as he takes a deep breath, his usual confidence momentarily eclipsed by vulnerability.
He sits back in his chair, gesturing with his wineglass as he says, “You know, I haven’t told many people this, but when my father died, it really messed with me. Dad was always so hard on me, pushing me to take over the family business instead of pursuing nightclubs. I could never live up to his expectations.”
Zack pauses, swirling the dark red liquid in his wineglass. “I think deep down, I’m still wanting to prove I’m good enough. That’s why I get so competitive sometimes.”
His sudden vulnerability surprises me. Zack Wolfe, forever the life of the party, has old family wounds that money can’t heal? Who knew?
He hesitates, then confesses, pouring out the pain of a father’s disapproval like wine from a long-sealed bottle. “Father never thought I’d amount to anything, and now, everything I do is to prove him wrong.”
As his confession draws me closer to him, my heart aches at the raw honesty in his voice.
I reach over the table, touching his hand. “Well, maybe your father’s lack of support was exactly what you needed. I mean, look at everything you’ve built. You certainly proved him wrong.”
His amber eyes, usually brimming with misconduct, now hold a depth of emotion that resonates within my guarded heart.
My fingers trace the stem of my wine glass. “Your courage to share that… it means a lot.”
He chuckles, and it’s an indistinct sound that reverberates through the room. “You make it easy to be open, Bianca.”
His body shifts as he leans forward, his pupils locked with mine. An unfiltered truth is there, speaking volumes more than words ever could.
“I know all about wanting the attention of someone important to you. There was somebody in my past. When he was with me, he gave me all the attention in the world, and when he wasn’t …” I swallow hard, pushing past the lump in my throat. “He gave that attention to another woman.”
“Betrayal cuts deep,” Zack replies softly, his orbs not leaving mine. “It forces you to question your judgment and makes you build walls.”
“Exactly. Since then, I’ve been careful, protecting my heart like a fortress.”
“Sometimes, those walls we put up…” Zack leans forward, resting his elbows in front of him. “They block more than the pain. They keep people out, too.”
We sit in silence for a beat like two kindred spirits acknowledging the scars that have shaped us.
Heat coils in the pit of my stomach as he rises from the table and stands behind my chair.
His fingers move a lock of my hair before touching the nape of my neck. It’s a simple touch, but it’s like a spark igniting dry tinder.
The surrounding air thickens as he leans down to me, his breath tickling my ear. “Tell me what you want.”
Desire envelops me, fueled by the heat of his body. I’m ready to get lost in him, to explore the depths of this attraction that never ends. I tilt my mouth upward to speak, but have no idea how to talk about the strong arousal stirring within me. “This… us …”
“Say it.”
I breathe out, my body encompassing curiosity, longing, and pure lust. “I want you.”
Zack offers his commanding hand. “Come with me.”
I stand and let him lead me away from the candlelit dinner, up a round staircase. Each step we take is a prelude to what we both know is coming.
His grip is firm as he leads me through his domain, each step amplifying the pounding in my chest.
The mansion, vast and luxurious, fades away until it’s only Zack, me, and our deep-seated need for each other.
At the top of the stairs, he turns and draws me into him. His arms are bands of steel, his body heat enveloping me. I tilt my head back as his lips crash against mine, hungry and demanding. My fingers run through his hair, grasping at the silky strands to pull him closer.
Each breath is a shared secret, and every gasp is a confession of desire.
He exhales near my mouth. “I’ve craved you for so long, Bianca.”
We stumble toward the entrance of a massive bedroom, decorated in shades of deep crimson and rich mahogany. A king-sized bed dominates the room, draped in luxurious silk sheets.
The space is full of the scent of musky cologne and the faint aroma of sandalwood. A sweet, heady scent of freshly cut roses lingers in the air.
Our surrounding blurs as his hands undo the buttons of my blouse and my fingers fumble with the clasp of his belt.
After bringing me forward to unhook my bra, he traces my collarbone and then moves south to circle my willing nipple with his index finger. “Beautiful.”
His large male hand covers my entire breast, where he massages and kneads the skin until it flushes with desire.
I moan, and the sound vibrates through the hot air between us.
He removes the rest of his clothing while my belly flutters at the sight of his statuesque body.
My fingertips skim down his chest, eliciting a sharp inhale. I touch the hard ridges of muscle, exploring the terrain.
His body is a work of art—sculpted muscles, smooth golden skin, and a dusting of hair trailing down his abdomen. He drinks me in with fiery eyes while his hands graze my waist and hips, igniting sparks everywhere he touches.
Our urgent mouths meet again before he backs me toward the bed, laying me down on the cool silk sheets. Hovering above, he trails kisses along my collarbone and chest.
Each kiss spreads arousal through my core while I caress the firmness of his body.
My fingertips trail down his back, and I arch into him, lusting after the hard body that hovers over me.
He groans into my mouth and everything beyond the bedroom walls ceases to exist.
Grasping at his herculean shoulders and biceps, I relish the firm body underneath my fingertips.
His mouth finds my other breast, where he flicks his tongue and sucks the nipple until I’m writhing beneath him.
I scrape my nails down the muscles of his back, and he hisses in pleasure while his hands trace the curve of my spine.
His caress sends warm arousal cascading down to places longing for his touch. As if answering my plea, he runs a male finger along the center of my core, in an urgency that’s both reckless and perfect.
Skin on skin, we move as one. It’s savage, and it’s real—everything I’ve always craved but never knew how to get.
Zack braces himself above me, his muscles cording in his forearms. He looks almost feral as his expression burns with lust.
He caresses a path through my channel, before suddenly driving his swollen cock deep inside me and filling my core with an overwhelming sensation.
A whimper floats from my lips as I arch into him, seeking the depth of the connection that’s only just beginning.
“Do you feel that?” He kisses my neck, his breath hot. “That’s us, Bianca. That’s real.”
The deepness of his voice sends me shuddering against him while heat pours through me.
He pushes the long rod in until it can go no further and buries his eyes into mine before he growls. “Look at me.”
I do. In his eyes, I see the reflection of my hunger and the same wild abandon.
He begins an urgent rhythm of raw need, thrusting the massive rod into me repeatedly. “This is the way I should have taken you on our wedding night.”
The intensity of his words, combined with the primal movements, sends me hurtling towards the edge of ecstasy. I moan, my eyes slamming shut as he plunges into me again and again, hitting places I didn’t know existed. “God, Zack. Yes, like that.”
Zack growls low in his throat before picking up the tempo and pounding me harder while claiming every inch of me.
The bed creaks and the headboard bangs against the wall with the force of our frantic movements.
He pants as the godlike muscles of his back ripple under my clutching fingers.
While sweat glitters on his brow, his amber orbs blaze with untamed desire. He growls again, his voice rough with urgency. “I need more of you.”
His hands slip underneath me, lifting my hips higher, angling us both for even deeper penetration. Muscles in his arms tense and flex as he pumps into me with abandon, driving us both to the brink.
The sound of our skin smacking together echoes through the room, accompanied by our moans and gasps of pleasure.
Pressure builds until I can barely contain the pleasure coursing through my veins. I yell out and it causes him to pound me even harder.
Our eyes lock, reflecting the same fierce need and the same ferocious hunger. Right now, all that matters is the delicious pleasure and the promise of ecstasy.
Finally, a powerful sensation comes and sends me whimpering as the peak crests and breaks over me in waves.
His own release follows with a moan and my name a breathy prayer on his lips.
In the dimly lit room, our bodies continue to entwine, and everything else fades away. It’s only us, together in perfect harmony. We’re lost in each other, the rest of the world forgotten.
A s dawn breaks, Zack’s chest rises and falls beneath my cheek, the steady rhythm syncing with the soft hum of morning. While his brawny arms cage me in warmth, he traces circles on my back, igniting tiny sparks along my body. “Morning already?”
Lifting my head to meet his piercing look, I nod. “Last night was…”
“Beyond words.” He finishes my sentence before leaning in and pressing his lips softly to mine.
I smile against his mouth. “We broke a few rules, didn’t we?”
The corner of his mouth quirks up and his eyes sparkle. “If I had known being inside you was this good, I’d have married you sooner.”
I gasp and hit his shoulder before a light laugh bubbles up from my throat. “Do you always need to marry a woman before you have sex?”
He looks up and ponders the question before answering. “No. This is a first.”
I nod, the remnants of laughter still at the edges of my mouth. “Ah. Well, I’m happy to hear this is the first time you’ve done this whole accidental marriage thing.”
He furrows his brows. “Oh no, I’ve had plenty of those. It’s just the first time I’ve ever had sex.”
My jaw drops and more laughter comes tumbling out of me. “Ah, okay. Well, you really have skills for being a virgin.”
He breaks out into laughter. “Yes, I’m a fast learner.”
“Hmm. Interesting.” I contain my laughter, going with the flow. “You must be one of those learn-as-you-go types.”
An untamed grin crosses his face. “Yes. Exactly.” While twirling strands of my hair around his finger, he grows serious. “But last night wasn’t an accident, Bianca. Stay with me today.”
It’s not a question, but a command wrapped in velvet.
My torso expands as I take in a deep breath. I feel more alive than I’ve ever felt before. Meeting his gaze, I nod. “I’d love that.”
His lips find a sensitive spot behind my ear and he presses kisses there until fresh new arousal floods my core.
This untamed man unravels me like no other. I shiver before looking up to drink in the sight of his tousled hair. Tracing the line of his jaw, I commit every angle to memory. “You’ve turned my world upside down, Zack Wolfe.”
He seals the promise with a deep kiss, staking his claim all over again. “All according to plan.”
