Walking into Spencer he controlled it, down to the last detail. He didn’t just want efficiency—he demanded it.

I scanned his schedule, cross-referencing his meetings, checking for conflicts, and flagging anything that required immediate attention.

Within thirty minutes, I had already reorganized his day, forwarded critical documents to the right people, and adjusted the chaotic mess that my predecessor had left behind.

No hesitation. No second-guessing.

I thrived in this kind of environment. Fast-paced, high-stakes, straight into the deep end.

I pulled up an internal document labeled "CEO Preferences", expecting to find a list of his basic work habits. Instead, I found a two-page document filled with incredibly specific details:

Meetings start on time, never late—punctuality is non-negotiable.

Coffee: Black, no sugar, no-nonsense.

Emails: Concise, straight to the point. No “Hope you’re doing well” nonsense.

No surprise visits or unnecessary small talk—waste of time.

Conference calls: Must be summarized in bullet points—no fluff.

Personal time? Doesn’t exist.

I sat back in my chair, impressed and slightly horrified.

The man wasn’t just meticulous. He was a machine.

I glanced at my reflection in the glass wall, smirking slightly.
