Chapter 32
“I didn’t do this!” Myala cried out, slamming her fist against the metal table.
Falk watched the interrogation from the next room through the one way mirror, sensing that something wasn’t right. “What do you think?” he asked, turning to Ramit.
Ramit clenched his jaw, but Zayed offered his opinion first. “For what it’s worth, I don’t think she shot Ciara.” He nodded towards the other room. “First of all, there was no gunshot residue on her hands, nor on her clothing. So unless she wore gloves and a full body suit, she couldn’t have shot the weapon.”
Falk sighed, rubbing his hand over the back of his neck. “And we haven’t found any of the protective clothing.”
“Or the weapon,” Ramit added, equally frustrated. Once again, the men turned to watch the palace guards as they interrogated Myala.
