Epilogue
Ciara stood at the end of the sunny courtyard, beaming up at Falk. They were married! “You look lovely,” Falk commented as he pulled her into his arms.
“So do you,” she replied brightly.
There was a smattering of applause, but the group of twenty guests didn’t stop the bride and groom from kissing. Neither had wanted a big wedding. Especially not after Ramit and Maggie had gotten away with a secret wedding without all the fuss. They were blissfully happy, having just returned from their honeymoon last week.
Now it was her turn. Ciara lifted her head and kissed her new husband. “I love you,” she whispered.
“I love you too!” he replied, then pulled her in close for a deeper kiss.
Two hours later, Ciara laughed as she ran through the fall of flower petals. The wedding brunch had been delicious and now she and Falk were heading off for their own honeymoon. Spinning around, she leaned against Falk as she hefted her wedding bouquet and, with a grin, tossed it right to Tara!
