Chapter Fourteen
Benjamin
I was rock hard after watched my two men fucking.
Fuck, they were mine. But still I couldn’t join them, even though I’d longed to.
I had to remember to give them some punishment for forcing me into these bonds.
A mating bond and a blood bond. What a fucking joke.
But I also felt kinda flattered… I would really like to dissect why I was feeling so damn proud of having two men want me badly enough to just take me.
But I wasn’t about to do that now. Instead, I found myself under the cold spray, praying my cock would soon deflate so I could face them again.
Or face Zar, considering Christopher was still fast asleep after getting fucked so brutally I actually felt my own toes curl.
Also, Zar’s ass was mesmerizing as he pulled in and out of our alpha, his muscles clenching and unclenching and I simply couldn’t stop staring.
“Are you done?” Zar’s amused tone came from behind me and I jumped in surprise.
Only turning my head, I nodded. “I-um, yes.”
“You don’t have to move,” he said, joining me under the spray. I thought the cold water would deter him, but he simply turned the heat on and watched me intently. “I want you to join us next time.”
I couldn’t hide how my eyes widened because of his bluntness. Of course he would want that, but the way he’d said it, so sincere and almost with a note of hurt… Refusing to answer, I turned around and left the shower. I wasn’t done being petty just yet.
His soft laughter told me he knew just how close I was to breaking. Damn him.
I returned to the bedroom and couldn’t help but glance over at my mate.
Christopher had seemed so cruel whenever we saw each other, but with Zar he’d seemed so…
innocent almost. Haunted, in a way. I had no idea what his deal was, but now that I was bonded to him, I couldn’t help but wonder why he’d rejected me in the first place.
It seemed like he’d regretted it once he knew I was bonded to Zar.
It could just be that he was a possessive alpha jerk that didn’t want to share me, even if he hadn’t wanted to claim me himself.
But that had changed, hadn’t it? He’d bitten me, claimed me.
But why? Was it because he’d wanted Zar?
I scoffed at myself. It had been clear that both men had wanted to kill each other before the bonding had happened.
But I still couldn’t quite fathom why they were both so okay with this?
Shouldn’t they, like me, feel forced? Or feel like their whole lives had changed in a matter of seconds?
It wasn’t that I had a particularly interesting life to get back to.
The only thing I actually missed was my bike, but that could easily be picked up, and my apartment was simply for sleeping in, it wasn’t a home. Just a safe space.
I dragged my clean boxers on while contemplating how long I could resist the pull of the bonds.
Right at this moment, I wanted to just snuggle with the sleeping alpha, but my logical mind reminded me that I still hadn’t punished him.
Zar had, in his own perverted way, and it had been obvious the alpha had enjoyed every second of it. Punishment? Pfft, what a joke.
With my bits covered, I located my phone and shot Hazi a quick text.
Me: Lots of witches got killed and I mated with the alpha. Might not answer for a few hours.
I got a call from Hazi not even a minute later.
I rejected his call and turned off my phone.
I hadn’t told him how I wasn’t given a choice, again, and I figured that would be for the best anyway.
My boss couldn’t do anything about already formed bonds.
No one could. Once claimed you were locked together for all eternity.
There were laws against forced bonds, but then again, what would I get if I had them thrown in jail?
I would be miserable and soon we would all die from the separation.
I was literally stuck. I didn’t need Hazi telling me how fucked up I was for getting into another bond.
Or how the timing was the worst in the history of forever.
I could really use a good hug. Or someone to tell me everything would be all right.
Just some damn comfort! I eyed my sleeping alpha and wondered if I would ever get comfort from him, or if he would wake up and hate me all over again.
My stomach soured at the thought, so I dismissed it.
I needed to order us something to eat before I could go to sleep as well, even if sleeping was the last thing I wanted to do.
I still didn’t trust them, not that I feared they would kill me.
I knew they would just be offing themselves if they did.
But I worried about how much freedom I would have now that they’d forced me to become theirs.
Would I even be able to work? Where would we live?
Would they love each other and just humor me?
God, I was pathetic. Maybe I should look into adoption.
I could get a cute cat or something. I was sure Chris would hate that, but then I wouldn’t feel so alone in this weird mating bond throuple.
“Can’t decide on what to eat?” Zar asked casually from the bathroom door. I blinked and realized I’d been holding the menu without reading it.
I ignored his question and asked instead, “Do you know what werewolves tend to eat? They have salmon, I heard it’s great for making fur shine.”
Zar scoffed out a laugh. “He’ll need some red meat from the blood loss. You could benefit from it too.”
A great reminder that I was now a walking and talking blood bag. Lovely.
“I’ll just order four steaks,” I said, talking mostly to myself as I wondered what Chris would prefer for the side dish.
Why was I even thinking so hard about this?
Zar was rich, I could order us anything.
“A little of every side dish they have too,” I ordered, throwing him the menu and walking over to my duffle.
I hadn’t gotten fully dressed yet, only in my boxers and nothing else.
I wasn’t about to be mauled—again—so I’d better cover up.
Zar called for our food delivery while I got my sweatpants and T-shirt on.
I didn’t even bother with socks. We had a queen bed to share and I knew werewolves ran hot.
Vampires didn’t need more than one hour of sleep, so he could take the armchair in the corner and be all mysterious and important over there.
And if Chris ended up hogging the entire bed, he could shift and sleep on the floor.
I’d lost way too much sleep coming here and I needed to get some rest before tomorrow or they would really feel my wrath.
I was basically a ticking time bomb just waiting to go off already.
Just the slightest inconvenience and I would go boom! .
I sat on the bed and watched how content the alpha looked, not even caring that Zar was watching me.
He could think what he wanted to. My mind still had to catch up with everything while they’d both seemed to just accept it all.
I knew Chris hadn’t wanted a vampire, normally vampires and werewolves had a sort of immediate dislike of one another, so how come Chris had just pushed his legs further up and taken Zar’s cock like he would die if he didn’t?
I knew I couldn’t exactly judge him for his horny behavior, when I’d been just as lust driven myself, but was it wrong to ask for them to feel as unnerved as me?
It seemed that I was the only one who’d lost something here, and I didn’t care for that.
“We need to wake him,” Zar said, brushing a gentle hand over Chris’ cheek.
The move was so loving that I once again felt out of place.
They would be happy together, that was clear from how they both acted, but where did that leave me?
I wouldn’t be able to be with anyone else.
Not unless I wanted those men to get brutally murdered afterwards.
If I’d even managed to get that far with someone else.
I was doomed to take whatever scraps of affection they could offer me.
It would’ve been easier if I could just leave.
Live my life as I’d planned, lonely and without anyone to love.
It was safer that way. I missed the ease of that life.
I didn’t have to think about anything other than survival.
My mind was free of conflicting emotions and it was just… quiet.
My vision blurred. I felt relieved when it wasn’t because I was crying, but because Zar had moved in front of me.
His hand was now on my cheek. His eyes were searching mine in a knowing way, like he knew exactly what I was feeling.
Which was an absurd thought, right? He couldn’t like, feel me, could he?
He frowned at me. “Why are you so terrified?” My eyes widened and I could feel my heart beating so fast my ears were vibrating with it.
His eyes flashed a golden hue, so fast I wouldn’t have spotted it had I not stared straight into his eyes.
Then he ordered, “Relax. You’re safe.” And just like that, I relaxed.
I punched him in the face, cursing when I felt my hand ache after. Zar didn’t even look bothered by it, his nose perfect and straight, not even a speck of blood or redness. Nothing.
“You can feel my emotions?!” I accused, now that hitting hadn’t worked.
“Of course, I can,” he replied calmly, his cool and collected personality such an annoying feature at this moment. I felt like hitting him again.
“Wha?” Chris slurred from the bed, blinking tired eyes at us.
He looked so friendly like that, not at all like the grumbling alpha I’d met too many times already.
This was a version of him that I hated even more, because he looked like someone I wanted to hug and cuddle up to, and I couldn’t do that.
I wouldn’t fold so easily. I mean I would eventually.
Unless I wanted to live the rest of eternity without ever being touched.
I could at least punish them for a week.
If not, then just a couple of days. I was strong and resilient.
I was a fucking vampire hunter, the best damn one—
Chris moved so fast I didn’t even register it before I was in his arms, being fucking hugged. “You seemed like you could use a hug,” he whispered, unaware of just how close he was to the ticking bomb in the room. If only I hadn’t bruised my hand hitting Zar.
Speaking of the infuriating vampire, he was currently smirking knowingly at us. He was not helping me escape the rather lovely hug, I had to admit that. Instead he stood as a proud papa, hands crossed confidently over his chest as his eyes swam with humor.
I was saved by a knock at the door.
