Day Eight: ’Avasu
I figured after all this driving and sleeping in tents you’re probably tired. There’s no more camping, unless you want to. If I know you, you’ll drop the camping gear the second you read this letter.
This map’s a short one, and I hope you enjoy it. Lake Havasu will feel like a real oasis after all these miles. I only brought your mom here once, the night we took this picture. Little too close to the Demons for comfort.
There’s nothing better than a swim after a long ride. Go to the beach, get in the water. In the picture, Whitlock expects you soaking wet, so you may as well have some fun.
