Chapter 17
Chapter
Seventeen
L eo sat back and grinned as Torres lay sprawled out and sweaty on the bed. His man didn’t even have the energy to move as he blinked slowly.
Torres clumsily reached for Leo’s erection, his fried brain cells making it hard to move. He grunted. “Cum on me, then come back to bed.” His voice was deep and scratchy.
Leo’s brows rose. “On you?”
Torres hummed in agreement.
Leo licked his lips. He wouldn’t deny he’d always wanted to mark someone, but Daegan hadn’t thought that was sexy so he’d never had the chance, but he couldn’t deny he really wanted to mark Torres’ hairy chest as his. “You sure?” He asked one more time, already stroking his dick as he scooted close to Torres.
Torres nodded. He knew exactly what Leo was gonna do, and he just sat back and let it happen, gently caressing and gripping Leo’s thigh throughout to help stimulate.
“Oh fuck,” Leo moaned as he splattered all over Torres’ chest. It was so hot his dick jerked, dribbling out one last bead of cum, he fell over Torres, trying to catch his breath and kissing the man. He got up on shaky legs and headed to the bathroom.
“Come back to bed.” Torres ordered.
“I’m getting a rag, I’m not making you sleep in my cum. It’ll dry in your chest hair and that’ll suck.” He said, as he gently wiped Torres down.
Torres just grunted, pulling Leo close and rolling back over to go back to sleep. Leo had worn him out. Something was ringing, and he was going to kill it. Torres growled as he tossed the pillow out of his face and grabbed his phone. “What?” He damn near snarled into the phone.
“Get your panties out of a twist Vince. I called for a reason.” Kade fired back not the least bit phased by his friend’s crabbiness. The man was definitely not a morning person.
“What did you find?” Torres asked around a yawn. He looked over to see Leo still sleeping peacefully, his mouth-watering lips parted as he breathed deeply.
“Looks like Daegan was into more than just drugs, there’s a missing boy from Jordan that was the chief’s grandson. Witnesses say he was last seen giving Daegan bread as payment for taking care of his mother.” Kade replied.
“You think he took the kid?” Torres asked, shocked.
“That or sold the kid. According to the guys, the father, who is the son of the chief, is in America looking for any information about his son.” Kade told him.
Torres didn’t like the sound of that. “Do we know where he is?”
Kade sighed. “No, he was caught on camera landing in New York, but he’s been in the wind ever since. I’ve got Hawk looking into him, but for now, be careful. I don’t think the guy would hurt Leo, but you can never be too careful.”
“Thanks for the heads up, man.” Torres said genuinely.
“Always.” With that, Kade hung up.
Torres sighed, running his hands roughly over his face to try to wake up. He needed to do some work but he didn’t want to leave Leo alone. He dialed the one man who could lend him some help while Doc was gone.
“How’s my brother?” Saint demanded in greeting.
Torres snorted. “He’s fine. He’s currently sleeping. Did Kade tell you what they found?”
“About the missing kid? Yeah, he did. I’m running searches for him now to see where he would have gone. I’ve even gotten in touch with Daegan’s parents and asked them to call me if they notice anything weird.” Saint grumbled. “Hate talking to them.”
“Thank you, man, I would have handled that.” Torres told him.
“No, they would have been worse with you. They blame Leo like it’s his fault their son is dead.” Saint cussed under his breath. “They’re nothing more than junkies, but it’s rough to hear the shit they say about Leo and then turn around and act like their son was perfect…pisses me off.”
“Jesus,” Torres hissed under his breath.
“Yeah they’re a bundle of joy, let me tell you. Are you bringing Leo up to the farm later?” Saint asked.
“If he wants to, yeah, I’ve got some work I need to do first and then I want to check on Gabe.” Torres looked over at Leo (who was still snoozing away) and smiled. “If I can get him up, that is.”
“I don’t want to know.” Saint said quickly. “That’s my brother, and that’s just gross. I can only imagine what you two got up to, and it’s making me sick.” Saint made a gagging noise.
Torres face-palmed himself. “I meant, get out of the bed, you idiot.”
“Uh-huh, I know what that's code-worded to mean you….NASTY!” Saint screeched the last word.
Torres rolled his eyes. “How your parents haven’t drowned you yet is a fucking miracle.” He wasn’t really kidding. He was pretty sure someone had made Sanem and Bram swear they wouldn’t drown him.
“Hey, I’m cute and cuddly.” Saint said, offended.
“Uh-huh, and I know what that’s worded to mean.” Torres said, deadpanned.
Saint huffed. “Bye, you dick.” He grumbled before he hung up.
Torres grinned. He loved the dude, but damn the man was wild. “Leo, baby, it’s time to get up.” He said, softly kissing Leo’s cheek.
Leo smacked his lips, mumbling something before he smacked at Torres and rolled over, never having fully woken up.
Torres chuckled. Deciding to let sleeping beauty lie, he went into the kitchen to start breakfast. He put on the coffee, knowing that would be the first thing Leo would go for before he pulled out the fixings for homemade biscuits and gravy. It was an easy and simple breakfast. He knew most people said that breakfast was the most important meal of the day, but he just had never been able to stomach a big meal right when he woke up. It always sat heavy on his stomach and made him nauseous. Thankfully, Leo was the same and usually just went for fruit or yogurt in the morning. He grinned when he heard footsteps on the stairs. The coffee wasn’t even done yet and it had already brought the zombie back to life. “Good morning baby.”
Leo grunted, and wrapped his arms around Torres’ waist, snuggling close to his back as the man finished making breakfast. He could sleep right here warm and cozy and very faintly, he could hear Torres’ heartbeat, and that soothed him like Aloe Vera on a sunburn.
“Coffee and breakfast is almost done. We’ve got a big day ahead of us.” Torres said gently, keeping his voice low to help ease Leo awake. There was nothing worse than just waking up and someone talking loudly to you.
“Oh, yeah?” Leo yawned before snuggling closer.
“Yeah, I’m going to drop you off at your parents’ while I go check on Gabe, then do a little shopping. I need to get groceries. That kid eats a shit ton of food. I can come get you before I go shopping, maybe take Gabe out with us for a while.”
“Sounds perfect to me.” Leo said, sleepily.
“Good, why don’t you sit down and I’ll grab some coffee?” Torres said, desperately trying not to laugh, and the man wanted to tease him about not being a morning person. He wasn’t, and he’d fully admit that he’d done his time in the military waking up at an ungodly hour now that he washed out his body told him it didn’t need to wake up in a split second and took its sweet time to rejoin the world each morning.
“Okay.” Leo mumbled and slugged over to the table where he sat blearily, blinking at the empty space in front of him.
Torres shook his head in amusement and handed the man a cup of coffee just the way he liked it before he plated out the breakfast and joined him at the table.
“Looks really good, thank you, Vince.” Leo said, smiling, softly. He appreciated what his man had done for him. He’d never had a man cook him breakfast in the morning. It felt good. One thing he missed the most about moving out of his parents’ house was his mom’s cooking. She cooked all the time, if she was bored, stressed, angry, happy, it didn’t matter she would make a meal out of everything and feed anyone who was around. She loved to show her love, especially to the broken souls that came to the farm. She would show them love through food before she would show love through touch. He couldn’t imagine how hard that was for his mother, who was a very tactile person to hold herself back from someone in pain, but he guessed feeding them helped.
Torres chuckled. “I was craving biscuits and gravy.” He said sheepishly.
“They’re really good.” Leo mumbled around a mouth full, and it really was.
Torres snorted. “Thank you.” They ate in companionable silence as they both prepared for the day.
“I’ll come and get you once I leave Catherine’s, and then we can figure out where to go. I would invite you to go with me, but I have a feeling Catherine will make a scene and I don’t want that to happen, but eventually she’s gonna have to get over it. Gabe has been asking about you and really wants to see you again.” Torres smiled at Leo.
Leo grinned. “How’re things going with you and him?” He wondered if Catherine had this sick sort of possessiveness over Torres. Since he gave her a child she was his now?
Torres sighed. “It’s slow going. We already had a great relationship as uncle and nephew and this shock has rocked that, but not in a bad way. We just have to find our footing now. I love that kid Leo. I always have. He was the only reason I still dealt with my family. I don’t love him any differently now. I’m just so thankful he has turned out to be an amazing kid.”
“A lot of that comes from you baby, he knows what you had to go through just to see him, and the things he was able to do because of you.” Leo reached across the table and linked fingers with Torres.
Torres gave him a weak smile. “I know. I just don’t want him to hate his mother.”
Leo raised a brow. “Nope, I do that enough for the both of us. He can take a seat.”
Torres snorted. “I know you don’t like her, and quite frankly neither do I, but I have to try for Gabe, you know. She is his mother no matter what, and she has doted on him since he was born. He’s her most precious thing. The one thing she wanted most in this lifetime was to be a mother and while she’s a bitch, I don’t want to take that away from her. Forgiveness is not something I’m used to dolling out when it comes to my family, but for my son, I’ll do anything.”
Leo nodded. He loved him so much. He was such a good man. “Yeah, I can see that and I promise to be respectful to her to her face, but.” He pointed at Torres. “I reserve the right to bitch about her in private.”
Torres held up his hands in a sign of surrender. “Believe me, I’ll have a few things to say about her myself. I can’t believe she fucking touched me.”
Leo studied him closely. “Are you ok?”
Torres sighed. “Yes, and I feel weird saying that, but the fact that I can’t remember it makes it easier to forget, you know, just like it was a story I heard and not a real event.”
Leo nodded. “That makes sense, but if that ever changes, please let me know.”
Torres smiled softly at him. “I will, I promise.”
