“Wait, Lucky, shit, I’m ‘bout to cum.”
Dash had his bottom lip pinched in between his teeth as he stroked Clover from behind.
He watched her fat ass bounce with every push.
Lucky was the nickname that he gave her when they were kids.
It was also the way he felt every time he looked into her beautiful face.
From the honey-blonde colored sister locs in her head to the white polish that coated her pretty toes, Dash loved every inch of her.
She looked like a younger version of Janelle Monae with a body that looked handcrafted by the Most High.
Clover was his life, even though he didn’t always act like it.
They were both young, so making mistakes came with growth.
Dash was known to overreact when it came to her and he didn’t always know how to control it.
He was jealous and overbearing sometimes, but nobody could get a reaction out of him quite like Clover did.
He couldn’t remember a time in his life that he didn’t love her and that was even before his family found out.
She was his four leaf clover then, now and forever.
“Come on, Boobie. You said that twenty minutes ago. You know Diva is probably on her way already and everybody else won’t be too far behind her.”
Boobie was the nickname that Clover gave him a few weeks after she moved in with them, and she was the only one who addressed him that way.
It started out being their code language when they didn’t want Diva and Hank to figure out their secret.
After a while, the nicknames just stuck.
Everybody thought it was cute that they had their own personal pet names for each other.
Dash looked like a hood version of Devin Franklin but he was far from being holy.
He was smart as hell but, just like Hank, who he and his brothers looked identical to, he sometimes had a horrible temper.
“I know, baby but I’m for real this time.” Dash threw his head back in ecstasy.
Clover was happy for her dark skin because she was sure that he would have left a bruise on her hips from gripping them so hard.
“I got you, boo.”
Clover used her petite hand and reached in between them.
Dash almost bucked out of the bed when she started massaging his balls.
She knew exactly what to do to send him over the edge, and he was filling her up with his seeds a short time later.
Thankfully, she took her birth control faithfully, so she wasn’t worried.
“Damn, Lucky.” Dash dropped down into the bed, almost collapsing on top of her. He picked Clover up instead and laid sideways, pulling her closer to him. She was only four inches over her five-foot frame, so she looked tiny in his swollen arms.
Dash, just like Hank and his brothers, had a tall, muscular build.
He was six feet even and just an inch or two shorter than Monty and Fonzo.
The brothers worked out religiously and so did Clover since that was something that Hank had instilled in them at an early age.
As a result, she had a body that a few people swore she paid for.
Although her mother was considered slim, Clover’s shape and looks came from her father’s side of the family.
Even Shantel’s sisters were considered to be skinny.
No matter what they did or ate, they could never gain weight.
Clover loved her curves but she sometimes wished she would have had more of her mother’s genes.
She gained weight if she even looked at carbs.
She had to make the gym a part of her lifestyle or she would be short, fat and shapely, just like her grandma Tilly.
“Don’t get comfortable, Boobie. We got too much to do today.”
“I already know and my baby ain’t having it. Damn man, I can’t believe that she’s six already.” Dash smiled as he got up from the bed and started pulling the sheets off.
“I know and going to the first grade. Time flies.”
“It’s about time for us to give her a brother or sister.” Dash looked at Clover and winked.
“I’ll pass but I enjoy trying,” Clover laughed while grabbing her robe from the sofa in their bedroom. She went straight to the shower while Dash freshened up the bed clothes.
Once he was done, he joined her in the bathroom. Dash was hoping to get in a quickie before they got ready to get their day started but his plans were quickly interrupted.
“Man fuck!”
Dash was pissed when he heard the alarm come on and get disarmed shortly after.
He didn’t even have to wonder who it was.
His father and brothers all had keys to their house, but Diva was the only one who used hers.
Dash wanted to change the locks on her ass a long time ago, but Clover wasn’t having it.
Diva was more than just her mother-in-law; she was more like her mother.
Clover lived with them more than she lived with her own parents and she was like the daughter that Diva never had.
“Don’t start your shit this morning. You already know how it go.”
“They get on my muthafucking nerves sometimes. It’s too damn early for this shit.”
“Nasty ass thought you was ‘bout to get some more pussy huh?” Clover laughed at the frown that graced his handsome face.
“You already know what’s up.” He pulled Clover closer and kissed the back of her neck.
“No, Boobie. We both have a full day, so turn the cold water on and put that python away.”
“That muthafucker is big huh?”
He and Clover looked down at his erection and laughed.
She got out of the shower and made quick work of drying off.
Clover put on her Versace robe and quickly made her way down the hall to their daughter’s room.
Their master bedroom and bathroom was actually on the first floor, but they only used them when Kardi wasn’t home.
Dash didn’t want them to be too far away from their daughter, and Clover agreed.
The entire top floor of their home wrapped around in a circle and she could see all of the rooms as well as her sitting room downstairs.
“Good morning y’all. I’m ‘bout to get her up now.” Clover peeked over the balcony and spoke to everybody downstairs.
Diva made her way upstairs to help get her granddaughter dressed. She had a pin made for her that she wanted her to wear. The men were on the pool table just like always while Amina and Caprice sat on the sofa and talked.
“I wish that miserable bitch would have stayed home.”
Diva walked into the room with a frown covering her pretty face.
She tolerated Caprice on the strength of her son but she wasn’t one of her favorite people.
Diva wasn’t one to pick and choose who her sons decided to be with.
She loved whoever they loved and she tried her best to make her son’s new girlfriend feel welcomed.
Iva was her girl but she had to accept that they were over.
She actually liked Caprice in the beginning.
That was until she showed her who she really was.
Monty was still locked up when she invited Caprice to accompany her and her family to Geogia for a few days.
It was no secret that some of Clover’s cousins on her father’s side were jealous of her, and Caprice fell right in with their messy asses.
They felt like Tilly favored Clo, but it wasn’t even like that.
Corey was the only child that she’d ever lost, and Clover was the only thing that she had left of him.
They stayed hours and miles away from each other, so she showed her a little extra love whenever they visited one another.
She didn’t get to see her as often as she saw them so that was to be expected.
That wasn’t the real issue that Diva had though.
Caprice not only befriended Clover’s hating ass cousins, she befriend Hank’s ex-girlfriend, Drea, as well.
Years had passed since Hank even lived in Georgia, and Drea was still in her feelings about him leaving her for Diva.
They were teens, but she must have really had her heart set on being his wife.
She never married or had kids and she lived in the same house that she grew up in since her parents had passed away.
Actually, she had never left home so that was all that she knew.
It appeared that life had moved on for everybody else but Drea, and it was pathetic.
“It’s too early, Diva,” Clover replied while turning on the light in her daughter’s room.
“Exactly! Which is why she should have stayed home with the bullshit. I would hate to dog walk a hoe on my grandbaby’s birthday, but she better be cool. It’s too damn early for a bitch to be starting up with her mess. All that gossiping and shit.”
“You already know that Amina ain’t entertaining her. Stop worrying about Caprice. We all know she’s messy. As long as she don’t say the shit to nobody’s face, it’s all good. That bitch ain’t stupid.”
“I’m not worried about that hoe. I just hate that Monty can’t even take a piss without her holding his dick.”
“And that still don’t mean shit cause the nigga still be cheating, just like his brother.” Clover rolled her eyes when she said the last part. Dash wasn’t a saint either, so she wasn’t one to judge. Fonzo was the only faithful child that Diva had as far as she knew.
“Bitch, bye. You and Dash are one and the same. It’s just that you don’t threaten to end it all when you get caught,” Diva laughed but she was dead ass serious. According to how many times Dash threatened to kill himself over Clover, he should have been dead a long time ago.
“That’s because them niggas don’t know how to cheat. I be wanting his ass to find out what I’m doing, but he’s just sloppy with it.” Clover always made sure that her dirt got back to Dash whenever she did something wrong. She needed his ass to know that he wasn’t the only one with options.
“Iva need to stop playing and take my baby back. We wouldn’t even have to worry about seeing that WWE looking bitch no more,” Diva said, as Clover took out her daughter’s ironed uniform.
“She still love my brother, but he broke her heart. They’re gonna get back together eventually. It’s actually taking much longer than I assumed it would.”
“I hate that my baby have to wear this uniform every day.”
Diva frowned when she looked at the plaid pants with the matching crisscross tie and logo shirt.
Clover dressed the hell out of her granddaughter and she wished that she could have at least ditched the uniform for her birthday.
It was cool though. Kardi was having a party for the weekend and she knew that she was gonna be fly.
Clover definitely took her fashion sense after her mother and she had to get Diva right sometimes too.
“Happy birthday, baby!” Clover whisper-yelled to her daughter once she woke her up.
“Thank you, mommy.” Kardi smiled as she sat up and stretched. Her smile got even brighter when she looked over and saw Diva. “Hey Grammy!” All traces of sleep were removed when Kardi jumped out of the bed to hug her grandmother.
“Excuse you?” Clover put her hands on her hips and gave her daughter a look. She was only playing because everybody knew how she felt about Diva and Hank.
“Daddy’s baby is six today! Happy birthday, beautiful.” Dash walked into the room with a huge gift bag in his hand.
He smiled at his baby, who was a perfect mixture of him and Clover. Kardi had his complexion with Clover’s whole face. She was the final piece to their perfect puzzle, and he loved her more than words could describe.
“Thank you, daddy. Can I open it?” Kardi started pulling the tissue out of the bag until Clover stopped her.
“Not yet, baby. Come on and do your morning hygiene, so you can get dressed. Your uncles are downstairs,” Clover replied as she ushered her to the bathroom.
“Put some clothes on before you come downstairs, Lucky,” Dash looked at Clover as he spoke.
“You’re her daddy. Please remember that.” Clover pointed to their daughter.
“Say that shit tonight, I dare you,” Dash whispered in her ear, making her blush.
“Is my Grampy here?” Kardi asked, referring to Hank.
“Unfortunately,” Diva replied under her breath.
“Seriously?” Dash looked over at his mother and frowned.
“Boy, bye. She didn’t even hear me.” Diva rolled her eyes.
Dash got on her nerves with his daughter sometimes.
Granted, she loved her granddaughter to death, but he sometimes acted like she wasn’t human.
He didn’t want people to curse or raise their voices in her presence.
Diva understood his feelings, but they were sometimes unrealistic.
Kardi wasn’t always with them and everybody wasn’t gonna consider her like he wanted them to.
Being around Dot was more than enough to last her a lifetime.
Nobody could silence her and never could.
She was happy when her son walked out of the room and headed downstairs.
“What’s up, y’all?” Dash asked when he walked down the stairs. He was dressed down in joggers and a t-shirt but, just like his older brothers, he made the simple outfit look good as hell.
