Chapter Fourteen

Laurie

Rip abruptly dropped to his knees in front of me, and all coherent thought disintegrated as his tongue caressed my clit through my panties, a dreadful tease if there ever was one.

“Fuucckk,” I moaned as fingers hooked the fabric and pulled it to the side, exposing me fully.

He wasted no time, his tongue pushing my lips apart, running back and forth between them. Kissing and swirling around my clit, I was forced to lean back against the door, struggling to stay upright. There was no time for thoughts, nothing that made sense, just “don’t fall over.”

Rip worked me over with his tongue, one hand making its way up my stomach until he could grasp my breast. He squeezed and played with it while running a finger over my nipple at the same time.

I moaned, slamming a hand back against the door as I began to tremble. He was good. Really, really good. Eric hadn’t really been into it, and so it had been a long, long time since someone had pleasured me with anything but a dick.

And Rip was definitely pleasuring me. My body shook, and I cried out as the orgasm pulsed from between my legs, filling my body.

“Oh, god,” I moaned, palms flat to the door, barely staying upright.

Rip stood, licking his lips with a wicked grin, then scooped me into his arms with casual ease. My pussy was flooded with fresh warmth at the way he held me, his thick muscles bunched but by no means straining to keep me pressed to his chest.

We made it to the bedroom, everything a blur as we finished undressing one another. I sucked his cock for a bit, but then he wanted to lick me again, and I couldn’t find a reason to say no.

His tongue played across my clit until I was writhing, needing that potential push to finish again.

“Mine,” Rip growled and stood, thrusting his cock inside me.

I cried out, hands flinging to either side as I gathered fistfuls of sheets.

“Holy fuck, you’re big,” I moaned incoherently as he stretched me further. “Oh my god, I—”

He brushed a thumb against my clit, and my entire body clamped down around his cock.

I came harder than I could ever remember before.

A scream ripped from my throat as it intensified with another push from Rip, burying himself fully inside me.

I think. I couldn’t entirely focus, my mind too busy being pummeled by pleasure so intense it was nearly pain.

I started to cry, and Rip looked fearful, pulling back.

“Don’t you dare!” I ordered, yanking him in closer and closing my legs around him. “I want it all.”

I was rabid cock-drunk by that point, and I didn’t care. I needed his dick and as much of it as I could get.

Rip gave it to me. He thrust slowly, testing my limits until I stretched to fit him enough that he could go harder.

And he did. I screamed my head off until I could feel my throat going raw.

Multiple orgasms? One endless one? I didn’t fucking know.

It was the best sex of my life, and I had no idea who it was.

Nor did I care. He bodied me, flipped me left and right, turned me around, put me on top. I was his playtoy as he manipulated my limbs, and I loved every moment.

Then Rip groaned loudly. My eyes flew open to watch his orgasm fill his face with pleasure.

I shuddered as hot molten liquid erupted inside me, the scorching sensation so intense it pushed me over the edge one more time.

I clamped down on Rip, holding on with my interior muscles but also with my arms and legs, pulling him in tight as we rode out our climaxes together amid a torrent of grunts and moans.

One last gasp and twitch, and I slumped down, everything going limp at once as endorphins continued to pummel my brain’s logic circuits, overwhelming them much the way his cock had when it nearly split me in half at the start.

I wasn’t doing any thinking. Instead, I simply existed.

Trying to remember to breathe as I recovered, which was a challenge in itself.

“That was intense,” Rip said, moving his hips as he pulled out of me.

“Yeah,” I said, feeling the warm stickiness of his come spill out of me.

His come dripped out of me.

His come. Out of me.

I sat upright, a cold chill blanketing every good thing I’d just experienced.

Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Laurie. You idiot! How could you be so stupid?

“What is it?” Rip asked, rolling onto one elbow, causing most of his muscles to etch themselves starkly across his torso in a most pleasing display.

I tried to pull the sheet over me, but it was pinned beneath me. There was nothing I could do to cover myself.

“Um, I have to go,” I said, upset at myself for a number of reasons.

I shouldn’t have been in that penthouse at all, for starters, but even once I’d made that mistake, I should never have let him finish inside me!

Idiot. Stupid. I’d been so hurt and horny, and somehow not once did I stop to consider what I was doing.

After nearly two decades of taking birth control, I’d never thought about it before, and there was just something about Rip and the way he made me feel.

I just thought I could trust him, and that let me take my guard down and—

Stop it. You’re rambling. Badly. Pull yourself together, get out of here, and deal with it in the morning. People make mistakes. You know what to do.

I got up without saying anything more and yanked my clothes on, not bothering to clean up. I just wanted out. Now. I had to go. Get out of there.

“Is everything okay?” Rip asked. “Did I hurt you?”

“No,” I said, perhaps a bit too harshly. But I absolutely did not want to discuss it with Rip.

The big man remained quiet, but I could feel his eyes, always watching me.

Not in a creepy way, either. Despite everything, I still enjoyed being looked at by him.

For some strange reason I couldn’t explain, I wanted him to focus on me.

It was an inexplicably strong yearning that had no basis in hormones, as far as I could tell, since I’d just had all the horny fucked out of me.

“Thank you for the ride,” Rip said, following me to the door, still naked. “Home, I mean. In your car.”

I blushed furiously at the double entendre. “No problem.”

Then I was gone, out the door and hammering the plastic button for the elevator, cursing the stupid design that meant I had to wait.

“Come on, hurry up,” I hissed, tapping one foot impatiently as the lights over the door slowly ticked up to the top floor.

The ride down felt just as long as the wait, and I turned sideways to squeeze through the doors before they were even fully open, eager to get in my car and away. Regrets were starting to set in, and I wasn’t sure what else to do but drive as fast and as far as possible.

With the turmoil in my mind, I was halfway to my car before I realized someone was bent over the driver’s side door, fiddling with it.

I stopped dead, an icy spear stabbing into my stomach, leaving my blood chilled. Slowly, I backed away, but my abrupt stop had already gathered their attention.

“Well, well,” Eric sneered, shaking his head at me. “Look at you. Went home and fucked the help, did you? I should’ve known. I’m surprised you even came down tonight.”

“How the hell did you get in here?” I snapped, knowing the underground garage was key-coded. There was no way Eric had access. “And how did you find me?”

“There isn’t a guard monitoring it,” my ex-fiancé said with a snort. “I just walked in when someone else opened it. Come on, now. It’s not that hard.”

I glared at him.

“You know, I thought you had higher standards than sleeping with the help. But I can forgive you. We can get over this, Laurie. We’ll work through it. The wedding can still be on.”

“You’re joking, right? You have to be joking,” I said, staring at him wide-eyed. It was like he didn’t actually listen to anything I’d told him earlier. “We’re done, Eric. You and I are no more. There’s no ‘work through.’ Nothing to forgive because we aren’t together anymore!”

“Don’t say that,” he said. “We can move past this.”

I shook my head. “No. We can’t. Why are you so obsessed with marrying me? It’s over!”

None of it made sense. Eric clearly didn’t give a rat's ass about me, my opinions, or what I had to say. He was doing it all for himself. What I couldn’t understand was why. What did he get out of it? Why did he need my money, if that’s even what it was really about?

“Don’t say that,” Eric said, his eyelids so far retracted I could see the whites of his eyes as he advanced on me. “It’s not over. I haven’t said so.”

I started backing away across the garage. “Eric, stop. Leave me alone.”

“We’ll find a way,” he said, a maniacal gleam to his gaze reflected from the underground lights. “You and me. We’ll make it work. Somehow, we will. Then we’ll be married. It’ll be okay. I can forgive you.”

“Forgive me? You’re the one who was using me, asshole! Now, go away.”

I kept backing away from him, moving in a long loop around the next row—until I was between him and my car. Turning, I made a dash through the parked cars, unlocking mine and trying to slide into it before Eric could get close enough.

“Get back here!” Eric roared, coming after me.

He got to the driver’s side before I could hit the lock button, opening it just a crack, pulling on it, trying to open it while I held on for dear life, trying to keep it closed. If he got it open, he would—

Eric bellowed and yanked mightily, flinging the door open so hard it practically embedded itself in the car next to mine.

“You’re mine,” he hissed, reaching into the car for me.
