Chapter 21

Canyon came to, to the sensation of a warm mouth on his hard dick.

He opened his eyes and saw Cheyenne’s head moving slowly up and down.

When he got in from his trip to Colombia, it was three am, and she was asleep.

Canyon took a shower and went straight to bed.

Now, this was how his morning was starting.

He looked over at the time on the clock and saw that it was a little after nine.

When he turned his head back, Cheyenne looked up at him and smiled as much as she could with a mouth full of dick.

She deep throated Canyon, and a deep groan escaped from his throat.

He had to admit that shit felt good as hell.

He licked his lips as she started sucking faster.

Her mouth got wetter, and she let his mushroom tip hit the back of her throat again.

Canyon let out another moan, and Cheyenne cleaned his dick off then hopped on him with one swift movement.

She slid down on him and put an arch in her back.

Canyon wasn’t usually a minute man, but with the way she had sucked him off and the way she was riding him, Canyon felt himself about to bust less than five minutes after her mounting him.

It was almost as if she waited until she knew he was close to cumming before she hopped on him.

Canyon tapped her on the ass. His signal meaning to get up, and she ignored him. She clenched her pussy muscles and tightened her grip on his dick. Cheyenne started twerking on the pipe, and he felt his orgasm brewing. “Cheyenne, get up,” he panted, but she just went harder.

He realized what she was trying to do, and he attempted to lift her up, but she clamped down as hard as she could.

Cheyenne reached behind her and cupped his balls in her hand.

Despite what he told her about waiting to have kids, she was dead ass trying to get him to ejaculate inside of her.

Canyon didn’t want to be rough with her, but he lifted with all his might and tossed her ass to the side just as his seed shot up from his dick.

Cheyenne looked at him with a face full of shock. She couldn’t believe that he felt that strongly about cumming inside of her. “What in the hell is wrong with you?”

“What do you mean what’s wrong with me? I clearly told you not that long ago that I don’t want to risk you getting pregnant right now. That shit you just pulled is crazy. Just fuck what I said, huh? A baby isn’t going to save this marriage.”

Cheyenne looked genuinely confused. “Save this marriage? I’m not trying to have a baby to save this marriage. I want to have a baby with my husband because I want a baby.”

“Despite me telling you that I need to see how this goes. Did you forget that I filed for divorce? I filed for divorce! We weren’t seeing eye to eye.

Shit wasn’t working, then you just pop up like everything is magically fixed.

I can’t do this anymore, Cheyenne. I was trying to keep from hurting you.

I swear I was. I don’t feel good doing this, but this marriage is a wrap. You can have the house. I’ll leave.”

Speechless, she stared after him while he went to take a shower.

Tears spilled over her eyelids. She had been kidding herself.

Cheyenne knew the marriage was over. Canyon’s energy had been off since she walked through that door.

Cheyenne chose to ignore it. In her mind, if she could come home and put her differences aside then he could too, but she was wrong.

Canyon didn’t love her anymore. Having knee jerk reactions and being quick-tempered had cost her nearly seven years of her life.

Cheyenne vowed that she would never again be so desperate for a man that she would do anything to hurt or play herself.

As much as it hurt, she had to let him go.

If Canyon didn’t want to be with her anymore, then she wasn’t going to keep trying to hold on to him.

It felt as if her heart had broken into a million pieces, and there was nothing that she could do about it.

Amar was sitting in the barbershop bullshitting and scrolling on Instagram when he saw Heiress dressed to kill.

She had on a black sleeveless, leather type dress, and she was carrying a tiny red Dior bag.

Shorty looked good as hell, and even though she had just posted the picture ten minutes ago, she already had 75 likes.

Looking good was an understatement. Amar’s dick almost got hard.

He hadn’t spoken to her since that night at the club.

He knew she was still mad with him, and he was still trying to prove a point.

Trying to prove that he didn’t jump for her, but that picture had him ready to call. To his surprise, she answered.

“I see you showing out for the ‘gram. Where you ‘bout to go?”

There was a slight pause. “On a date. Why?”

Amar didn’t answer right away. The slight tinge of jealousy he felt was new for him. He composed himself before he spoke. “When we gonna be done with the games and shit?”

“Excuse me? Nigga, what games? You just left the club with another female. Now, it’s a problem because I’m going on a date.”

“Yeah it is,” he barked then realized what he was doing.

He had to remember her situation. “Heiress, I would never hurt you. You act like you don’t want me, then fine.

I fell back with no problem. But as soon as I look like I’m moving on, you want to start confessing your feelings and shit and putting a nigga in a tight spot.

When things didn’t go your way, you got mad.

Now, it’s another nigga. I’m not that nigga.

I’m not that nigga to do that back and forth shit so right now, tell me what it is. ”

“I told you what it was, but I don’t beg either, Amar. Maybe this isn’t a good time for either one of us.” Heiress ended the call, and Amar clenched his phone in his hand.

He contemplated popping up at her shit, but he didn’t know if that was a good idea.

He had to respect boundaries with Heiress.

He didn’t want to come across as some savage ass nigga that would get violent with her when things didn’t go his way.

He was torn between fighting for her and just letting it go.

After thinking about it for a moment, he decided that he would go to her.

If he was too late, and she was already gone on her date maybe that would be a sign to just let the shit with Heiress go.

Amar was sick of the roller coaster ride.

Amar said his good-byes and headed to Heiress’s apartment.

They needed to figure out what it was gon’ be.

Like Canyon, he didn’t want to hurt Kirah, but they weren’t in a relationship.

There was somebody for everybody, and he felt like Heiress was the one for him.

She was finally ready to own it. He couldn’t walk away now.

When he pulled up in front of her apartment, he saw that her car was still parked out front.

Amar rang her bell and waited for Heiress to open the door. When she did, she let out a small sigh.

“Didn’t I tell you I was about to leave?”

“You did. And if you leave, then I’ll know what it is.

I didn’t want you to feel like you could come in and out of my life and have me on some puppet strings.

You acted like you wanted us to keep it light, so I tried to accept that.

As soon as I did, here you come on some you want me type shit, and I got irritated.

All that bullshit aside, you know how I feel.

I’ve been showing it to you for the past few months.

If you decide it’s not what you want, then this is it for real.

No stalking from me. No pressure. No bullshit. I mean it.”

Heiress leaned against the door. It had taken a lot for her to come to grips with the fact that she really wanted Amar in her life.

She was pushing past her fears and trying to figure out how to be with someone, and he was acting like he no longer wanted her.

Here he was saying that he did want her though, and she was tired of playing.

It was hard for her to open her mouth and form the words, but Amar could read her.

He moved forward and wrapped his arms around her.

Heiress wrapped her arms around him and hugged him back.

Even before he came over, she had decided to flake on her date.

That’s not where she really wanted to be.

There was no need to fight it and pretend. Heiress wanted to be with Amar. He placed one finger under her chin and pushed up. “You all fly and shit. We might as well not waste it. You hungry?”

Heiress smiled and nodded. “Just so we’re clear. There’s no more you and Kirah, right?”

“Nah, shorty. That’s dead. It’s just me and you.”
