Chapter 72 Caspian
Caspian
Rosalina rises from the bed, and I have to still my movements because I think my heart is going to beat out of my chest.
She is so beautiful.
Dark curls drape over her shoulders. Her large breasts swing as she walks, pink nipples swollen from my teeth. Then there’s the delicate curve of her hips, her long legs. Gods, even her calves are cute.
Kel’s cock twitches inside me, and I know he’s just as hungrily devouring our mate’s figure.
Rosalina hesitates before us. “Are you sure we won’t be too heavy for you, Kel? Both on your lap?”
He gives a low laugh and grabs her wrist, tugging her closer. “No, Rosalina. This I can handle.”
“Come here, Flower.” I grip her around the waist, maneuvering so her legs spread on either side of me, her breasts at the perfect height for my mouth. I can’t help but flick out my tongue to lick a nipple.
She giggles and strokes my cock before bracing a hand on my shoulder and lowering herself onto me. The feeling of being enveloped in her warm, wet heat is beyond me, and while impaled by Kel at the same time…
Never, in even my darkest moments in the Below, did I dare dream this sort of thing could be possible. Yet here we all are together.
Our mingled sighs release as we still, embracing this connection.
Keldarion drags a hand along Rosalina’s thigh. “How does that feel, Rose?”
“So good.”
“Kiss me,” he says.
Rosalina reaches past my shoulder to the Winter Prince, the movement pressing her body so tight against mine. I wrap my arms around her, drawing her even closer, loving the feeling of her breasts against my chest, burying my face in her hair, inhaling the rich floral scent.
I never want to be parted from them. Tears prick the corners of my eyes, and I bury my face in her skin to hide it.
Rosalina moans into Kel’s kiss, and he makes a deep, primal noise in response.
There will be finger-shaped bruises on my hips from how hard he clutches me.
Then Kel lifts me up. I slide on his length, the sensation trembling through me.
He guides me higher, near his tip. I hiss, readying myself, just as he slams me back down.
A broken cry escapes me as I’m filled entirely, white spotting my vison. Rosalina plunges deeper onto my cock.
“Oh my god,” she whimpers. Her teeth skit along my shoulder.
“Too much, Cas?” Keldarion purrs. “Gods, I can’t seem to get deep enough in you.”
His words send a quiver of need through me. I gasp in air. “Use me.”
“You don’t know what you’re asking for.”
“Oh, I do.” I touch Rosalina’s face, making her look at me. “But she doesn’t. Because everything you’re doing to me, I’ll do to her.”
Keldarion’s fingers dig into my flesh. He pulls me up again, slowly, letting me feel every delicious inch of his cock. My muscles clench, trying to keep him inside. But he’s too strong, lifting me effortlessly.
“Is that so?” he growls, his voice rough with desire. “Then take her, Cas. Claim our mate while I claim you.”
With a surge of primal need, I crash my mouth against Rosalina’s. She moans into my mouth as I lift her, only to slam her back down on my throbbing shaft. She breaks the kiss with a sharp cry.
I trail my lips along her exposed throat, relishing the rapid flutter of her pulse. “That’s it, Flower. Take all of me, just like I’m taking all of Kel.”
In response, Keldarion drives into me with a powerful thrust, burying himself to the hilt. Pleasure explodes and I see stars. I mirror his movements, pumping into Rosalina’s slick heat.
Our bodies move as one, a tangle of sweat-slicked skin, roaming hands, and fevered kisses. Rosalina rides me hard, her breasts bouncing with each frenzied roll of her hips. I capture a rosy nipple between my lips, swirling my tongue around the sensitive bud.
“Caaaaas!” she keens, her fingers threading through my hair to hold me to her heaving chest. “Don’t stop. Please, don’t stop!”
I have no intention of stopping, lost to the blissful sensations threatening to consume me. Keldarion sets a punishing pace, rutting into me like a man possessed. The slap of flesh against flesh echoes through the room.
“You’re pretty, Cas,” Kel rasps. “Taking me so well while giving Rosie such pleasure. I love how she sounds riding you. I can’t wait to see you both dripping and wet.”
The thought makes my cock twitch. And she’s beyond sense, mumbling pure nonsense. I’m so close, teetering on the knife’s edge of euphoria.
“Come for me, my loves,” Keldarion commands. “Let me feel you shatter.”
His words are my undoing. With a hoarse shout, I erupt inside Rosalina, my release pulsing deep within her body. She throws her head back, a silent scream on her lips as she clenches around me in a wonderful flutter.
Keldarion’s rhythm falters, his thrusts becoming erratic. “Fuck, Cas, you feel incredible,” he grunts, his fingers bruising my hips. “Rose, you look so fucking beautiful when you come.”
“You’ll see it again soon,” she gasps. “When you come inside me.”
With a final savage plunge, Kel buries himself, his hot seed flooding my passage.
We cling to each other, bodies trembling. Rosalina collapses against my chest, her heart beating wild against my own. I stroke her damp curls, pressing reverent kisses to her temple.
Keldarion’s arms encircle us both, his embrace strong and protective, Rosalina soft and so warm, wrapped around me.
I’ve never been happier in my entire life. Here, in this room, the shadows of my past can’t find me.
“And your lips. They’re a little fuller on the bottom. It often makes you look like you’re pouting.”
“I don’t pout,” Rosalina says, sticking out that bottom lip in an adorable pout.
The two of us lie side by side in Keldarion’s plush bed.
He went to the attached privy to wash up.
I decided to tell Rosalina everything I love about her, starting with her cute toes, and I’ve somehow made it all the way to her lips.
I’m not sure we have time for me to start on her eyes.
I could speak about her glorious brown eyes for years.
Though I notice she keeps flicking her gaze to the closed door, her body trembling. I smooth down her hair. “Don’t tell me you’re nervous, Flower?”
She sits up slightly. “No, it’s just… What if I’m not what he’s expecting? What if it doesn’t work? What if he’s disappointed?”
“Not possible.” I kiss her cheeks. “You’re his mate. Made for him. And more than that, you’re Rosalina. Brave and smart and beautiful and kind. You’re everything Keldarion has dreamed about. A true princess.”
Her flush deepens. “Thanks, Cas.”
“I wish I could give you a crown of roses, but this is sadly the extent of what I can do.” I wave my hand, and a shimmering crown of twisted purple briars falls upon her brow.
Rosalina brings my palm to her chest. “Are you sure, Cas? I’ve felt your magic. There’s more inside you.”
“Sure. A bunch of evil green flames and my mother’s twisted shadows.”
“No,” she says. “Don’t let them decide what you can do. Remember, we almost grew something together once.”
Magic hums between us, soft and warm, as Rosalina’s hand tightens around mine. I watch her, the way her lashes flit, lips parted. She believes in me even when I don’t. It’s maddening and intoxicating all at once.
“Together, huh?” I say, trying for a smirk, but my voice comes out quieter than I expect.
She nods, her gaze steady, fierce. “Yes. Together.”
Something shifts in me. I don’t know if it’s her magic or the sheer force of her belief, but it cracks open a part of me I didn’t realize was there. My shadows stir uneasily, retreating just enough for something brighter to seep through. For her.
I lift my hand, hesitant. “Okay, Flower. Let’s see what we’ve got.”
She mirrors me, her magic unfurling the way sunlight creeps through the drapes across a carpet, soft and inviting.
When our powers meet, there’s a jolt—a chord plucked perfectly on a harp.
Her essence twines with mine, wrapping around the edges of my shadows, not smothering them but softening them.
A tendril of my power pushes forward, cautious and unsure, but it holds steady.
All I’ve ever been able to create with Aurelia’s gift are thorns. But…
The briar crown on her head shimmers, and then a purple rose blooms. My breath catches as more follow. The thorns dull, and the vines spill down her hair in a cascade of violet flowers.
Rosalina lifts her free hand to touch the crown, her fingers brushing the petals. “Cas, you did it.”
We did it. But I can’t bring myself to say it. The words are stuck somewhere between my chest and throat because all I can think about is how beautiful she looks, how radiant. My magic surges again, unbidden, and more roses bloom, weaving into her hair.
And then I feel him.
The chill sweeps in, a whisper, intertwining with my magic, hers, ours.
Keldarion’s power is unmistakable—icy, sharp, and full of longing.
It lingers within me like his kiss. I don’t pull back.
I let it in, let it twine with what we’ve already created.
His power transforms the roses, frosting their petals with delicate ice crystals that catch the light like tiny stars.
Frozen blooms fall from nowhere, spiraling down around her. Each one lands perfectly, adorning her naked body. My heart pounds so hard it hurts, and my love for her swells, fierce and undeniable.
“A Rose among roses,” I murmur and tuck a stray curl behind her ear, careful not to disturb the flowers. “He’ll near faint at the sight of you.”
Rosalina smiles. “Hopefully not.”
I look back at the closed door. “He’s been in there too long. I’ll go check on him.”
This is Rosie and Kel’s moment, not mine. I throw on a pair of pants, then knock on the door. There’s only a grumble for a response. I push my way inside.
“Coming, coming.” Keldarion turns to me, white hair a tangle, standing naked and brilliant in the early afternoon light. “Do…do I look alright?”
“You two are adorable.” I can barely hold in my laughter but indulge him and rake my gaze appreciatively over his form. “I can’t believe the great High Prince of Winter is nervous.”
“I’m not,” he stammers. “I want everything to be perfect for her. I want to be perfect.”
“Do you look alright?” I chuckle again. “Have you seen yourself, Keldarion? There could be no man more attractive in all the realms.”
“You’re biased,” he says, but pink still colors his cheeks.
The depths of my love for this man expand again. How could I know how precious it would be, watching him, nervous and awkward, on the edge of being with our mate for the first time?
“Sit,” I command, gesturing to the edge of the tub. “You’re too tall.”
He does as I say, and I grab a comb from the counter before walking between his outstretched legs.
Carefully, I untangle his hair and put the upper part into a twist. While I work, he attempts to steady his breath while running a hand idly up and down my spine.
When I finish, I secure the top portion of his hair with a small leather band.
“Once, you told me that if I ever found my mate, it would be the death of you,” he says.
“I remember,” I say. “But this is Rosalina. Our Rosalina. She can be everything for you that I can’t.”
“Don’t talk like that, Cas.”
“It’s the way things are. I’m alright with it. Happy even.” I grab his jaw. “Rosalina deserves to be loved in the light, to radiate as a princess of Winter. You can love me in the shadows. I’ll always be here.”
“How about we start by breaking my curse?” He kisses my cheek.
I smile and step back. “She’s waiting for you.”
