Adriana #3

Trapp paused, looking at her intently. She felt heat in his gaze, squeezing her thighs together. “You thought what, Adi? You thought I was going to what? Is this what you want?”

He lowered himself to the medic’s chair, just beside her. Her eyes fluttered shut, anticipating the sting of the needle, but instead, Trapp’s lips brushed the shell of her ear, sending a ripple down her spine.

“Tell me what you need from me. Do you need this? Or do you want me to fuck you through it?”

She whimpered, her voice failing, her fingers curling over his wrist. “Your knot,” she gasped, crying out when he pulled back.

“That’s a dangerous thing to beg for, smelling the way you do. But we don’t have time for that. We’ve got like twenty minutes, tops.”

She wanted to sob in frustration when he picked the vial back up, feeding the syringe into the neck.

Fire was licking up her insides by now. She was able to smell his wolf, smell it jumping in eagerness, was able to smell his cock, knew he was already hard, already dripping.

She knew without question that he was able to smell her cunt, her heat, and he was still pushing the fucking suppressant.

“I’m going to push two units just to take the edge off. You need to be able to get home.”

“Please.” Her voice was a ragged whisper. Tomorrow she would be horrified that she had begged him and been rebuffed. She would never be able to show her face again outside the townhouse that she wouldn’t be able to afford once she lost her job. But that was tomorrow’s problem. “Please, Trapp.”

“I said I was pushing two to get you home,” he growled into her hair. “I didn’t say I wasn’t going to fuck you. That’s the least I can do, after last night.”

She hated him, Adriana reminded herself, but there was nothing in the world she wanted more than his knot just then.

She wheezed as he undid the front of her pants, his huge hand down front of her panties before she could fully process the movement, but the first touch of his thick fingers to her heated flesh practically had her convulsing.

She’d always been horny the week of the moon.

Once, when she’d had time for such things, before she’d been buried alive beneath the weight of her job, the constant stress, the constant anxiety that left her feeling like an unraveling sweater, one pulled thread too many.

Random hook-ups usually satisfied the itch, occasionally even with co-workers here and there, cooling her blood and satisfying her lunar desire until the following week when she’d be back to normal.

That was nothing like this. This was the sort of heat she’d not experienced in years, in a decade or more, not since . . .

Trapp sank a thick finger into her, dragging through her moon-slick folds, rubbing circles against her clit, and coating his hand in her wetness. “Poor baby,” he murmured, making her arch against him.

. . . Since the last time she’d been with him, maybe. “Please,” she begged, not caring how shameless she sounded. Her insides felt braided together, the burning arousal beginning to cramp. “I need you inside me. Now!”

Trapp dropped over with a quickness that made her yelp, caging his arms around her, his face an inch from hers, their noses practically bumping.

“You are not in charge here, Doctor Brunelli. I’m not your fucking resident. You don’t get to tell me what to do.”

He added a second finger, stroking her insides in a come-hither motion that nearly sent her to the ceiling.

She panted as his corded forearm began to move like a piston.

It wasn’t enough. It wasn’t what she needed.

She needed his weight upon her, needed to be stretched open by his girth, needed to feel his knot within her, sealing them together, but as he began to rub her clit, the friction against it and the pressure within her was enough, and she broke, clenching around his fingers with a gasp, arching off the stretcher.

The radio crackled at that moment, Oleg’s voice coming through.

“So, I can get what’s in the case now. She said it’ll be at least twenty minutes if we want her to drop a fresh batch for the chief.”

Trapp pushed up from his knee, almost falling over the partition in his haste to lean into the cab to respond. “Copy that. Twenty minutes is fine. If we get tones before then, tell her we’ll come back for it.”

Twenty minutes wasn’t long enough for him to knot her, even if that was what she desperately needed, but it was enough to satisfy the burning in her core, long enough to fill her with his cock.

Trapp came to the same conclusion, pulling open his belt as he turned back to her, his black eyes shining.

Her heat couldn’t have struck in a worse place, for the back of the ambulance was cramped and tight.

He was unable to stand up without ducking his head, the side bench too shallow to position himself comfortably, but neither of that mattered when he flipped her on the stretcher, pulling her up to her knees, dragging her panties down as he did.

“Please. I need you inside me.”

“I could get used to hearing you beg for me,” he hissed in her ear, his teeth grazing the outer shell. “I’ve fucked you like this before, Adi. Do you remember?”

The first press of his head into her made her keen, stretching her walls, thick and familiar.

She was able to smell the heat of his knot, already swelling, could hear the erratic thump of his heartbeat, just as excited as she was.

Just as eager to bury himself within her as she was to be filled by him.

“We were studying system blocks. I think you begged me then, too. You barely made it through the morning rotation. And then we didn’t get out of bed the rest of the day.”

She nearly sobbed in relief when he began to move, solid thrusts into her that made the whole stretcher shift.

There was no time to reacclimate herself to his size, not now and certainly not from this position, but her body remembered him, opening for him easily, crying out when the jolt of him made her see stars.

“That was before I knew what a self-serving, back-stabbing bitch you are.” Trapp groaned into her hair, lifting her by the thighs as he thrust upward, making her cry out. “You smell so fucking good. Is this what you need, Adriana? Is my cock what you need to feel better?”

She hated herself for the way she moaned in pleasure, the interior of the ambulance spinning around like one of those rides from that long-ago carnival.

She hated him. Hated how good he felt, how good he’d always felt inside her.

The ambulance was probably rocking from the street, and she could only hope that Oleg was far enough away to not notice.

She could feel Trapp’s knot, hot and swollen, bumping against her on every thrust, kissing her lips, threatening to pop into place and cool the ache in her blood for good.

“Yes,” she gasped. “I need your cock. I need your knot. Please—”

She never got the chance to finish. His fingers had begun to move over her swollen clit in tight, precise circles, exactly the way she liked it.

His other arm wrapped around her middle, lifting her higher so that he could brace their weight on the bench, and the changed angle was enough to nearly make her black out.

Trapp groaned when she came around him, her core clenching, her spine stiffening, lower extremities shaking like she’d been electrocuted.

When he pulled out of her, she felt the absence of him like a hole punched into her very being, soothed only by his lips at her temple, the kiss softer than anything she’d expected, his breath hot in her hair.

“Just close your eyes, Adi. You’ll be home soon.”

Her head fell back when she was gently laid out on the stretcher, her body empty, her arm lifted and the needle sliding into her vein before she could protest, Trapp tightening the tourniquet with his teeth.

It was like an ice-cold pitcher of water being poured over her in an endless deluge, the heat receding from her belly, cramps subsiding almost immediately.

Adriana moaned. This was what she’d needed. But this isn’t what you want.

The world was still spinning when the ambulance lurched away from the curb.

She had no idea how much time had passed.

The suppressant he’d pushed was already cooling her blood, clearing her head, but it came with the unfortunate side effect of making her groggy.

Trapp had closed the partition door, leaving her isolated and dizzy in the back of the rig.

Adriana vaguely remembered Oleg pulling the door open, asking for her address, the smell of fried dough and crystallized sugar filling the air.

You hate him. Don’t forget that. Don’t forget how cruel you know he’s capable of being.

This doesn’t mean anything. She didn’t know how she could possibly start over again when he was here, when his presence would be a daily reminder of how good he felt inside her.

How was she ever supposed to meet someone else, when they would inevitably be compared to him?

When his nearness forced her to think of him, to see him, to smell him, to think about how fucking good he felt inside her?

This town wasn’t big enough for them both, and she didn’t have anywhere else to go.

How are you supposed to be someone brand new when he’s here to constantly remind you of the past? She didn’t have an answer and wasn’t likely to find one soon, Adriana thought, as the world went black.

She was shivering when the doorbell rang, hours later.
