Chapter 10 #3
“But you didn’t say we couldn’t,” Mithus retorts stubbornly as both his hands go to his cocks and he fists one in each, trying to get his erection back.
I raise an eyebrow, and with a wave of my hand, his own hands explode, and because they were wrapped around his cocks, they are caught in the crossfire.
His genitals are reduced to blobby mounds of flesh, and his arms have stumps at the ends as his screams echo around the room.
Blood runs down his body and onto the couch.
“Mithus, your pleasure has always been under my control, and you know that. I have been lenient and let you use one another, but your contract says you are for my exclusive use only and I have the right to punish you if you do not adhere to this. This is my punishment.” His screams die off as he loses consciousness.
Lexus is covered in bits of Mithus, and she sobs as I listen to his heartbeat stutter before it ceases to beat any longer.
“Take this for what it is—a warning. You will remain in your sleeping quarters and will heal as slow as a human as a reminder to never cross me again or think you are more than what you actually are. Consider this your notice of termination, and be thankful it’s not permanent like Mithus’s is,” I tell the two female warlocks and the Rasque.
“Now get out of my sight.” They can’t move fast enough, and they quickly disappear, leaving me with a frozen Elyan and Mithus’s corpse.
“What a mess,” I grumble and wave my hands.
Mithus’s body disintegrates, and then I use my power to clean up the mess he left behind.
The whole entire time, I let Elyan watch.
I’m hoping she will be discouraged from trying anything.
I would have killed her, but her father is one of my father’s advisors.
It’s why she is in my harem to start with.
He’s not going to be happy with her lack of powers.
Maybe killing her would have been kinder.
I unfreeze her, and she quickly changes her mind about attacking and quietly leaves the room without looking at me.
I’m not sure she will stay docile, but I need to make a call to my parents, so I have to trust that she will do as ordered.
I will be able to feel if anyone leaves my quarters, though, so I think we’re good for now.
She’s also no danger to Lila at the moment, since she is as powerless as Lila is, or so everyone thinks.
I return to my living area and throw myself into my lounge pit before waving my hand at the picture window.
It becomes opaque, and I use it to call my parents.
It’s always tricky to video call someone out of the blue, but when I work out the time on my home world, I realize it’s midday, so I think I’m pretty safe and won’t find my parents naked.
I take a drag on my water pipe while I wait for the connection.
I need something to calm my rage, killing Mithus and stripping Elyan of her power wasn’t enough.
“Xavier, my boy, so good of you to call. Your mother has been pining for you.” My dad’s face fills my screen, and he’s wearing his stern, warlock king expression. I must have caught him in the middle of something official.
“Am I interrupting?” I ask casually, not really caring if I am.
“No, nothing important. Hang on a moment, and your mother and I will move to another room.” I can hear blustering and insulted tones in the background as my father gets up and moves, taking the communication orb with him.
I can also hear my mother trying to smooth over my father’s rather rude departure, but it doesn’t seem to be going well.
My father stops, and there’s a pause, followed by my mother’s outraged gasp.
“Cronus! You can’t freeze the Telazion representatives like that,” she admonishes as he starts to move again.
“Who’s going to stop me?” He chuckles as they move into their private office next to their throne room.
The orb shuffles around a bit, and when it stops moving, my parents are sitting together as my mother beams at me. “Hello, darling. Your dad was lying, of course. It is him who has been lamenting about how horrid and neglectful his oldest son is to his aging parents.”
I snort at my mother’s exaggeration. “Hardly elderly.”
“What can we do for you, my boy?” my father asks, ignoring my mother’s teasing.
“I need you to tell me what you did to Lila Jenson.”
They exchange a confused look before my mother responds, neither of them knowing Lila’s new name.
“Who?” she asks.
“Lila Jenson, or maybe you would know her as Liliana Adams.”
My mother gasps before putting a hand over her mouth, and my father’s deep purple skin pales until he’s almost as light as me.
“I see you recognize the name.” There’s no hiding the annoyance in my tone now, and they both flinch. It’s an unusual reaction from them to say the least. Nothing normally fazes the almighty King and Queen of Westalin.
“Yes, son, we do. I guess it’s time we told you the story.” My dad sighs, and I brace myself for what they are about to tell me. I hope that once my parents are finished, I’m not as furious with them as I was with my harem.
