Chapter 9 #2
When I look up at the two of them, Maxsim looks as pleased as punch, his smile wide and his eyes grateful as he gives me a subtle nod, and Echo looks like he’s been hit by a boulder.
“You’re okay with this?” he asks hesitantly, sliding his hand down to cup his stomach in a familiar way.
“Of course I am, sweetie. How could I not be? I can’t be angry at you when I wasn’t angry at Caspian, but for any matings from here on out, I need to know the breeding side of things as well.
As much as I love my little ones, and as much as I will adore these ones, that’s six or so children in a short period of time, and that’s a lot of work on top of the circus and needing to find the flower for John and everything else that is hanging over our heads.
” I need to read these guys into the orb situation, but that can wait until tomorrow.
I lean forward and place a gentle kiss on Echo’s lips, and he lunges, catching me by surprise as he smothers my face with little kisses, purring the entire time.
Max just chuckles and watches as Echo mutters sweet words.
“How long is a lightning cat’s gestation?” I ask Max, snuggling Echo into my side, and Max shrugs.
“I don’t actually know for sure for male omegas. It’s been so long since there was one. I was going to ask Echo’s dad if it actually ever happened.”
“Well, now there are a whole heap of male omegas we can ask.” While I was under the sea, the location of the male omega prison was found, and there were over a hundred male omegas of all ages.
Some of them had been sold off by their families, and some were thought to have been killed during challenges.
Those families that sold them off had been terrified of Natalia’s family and had seen no other option.
Most of those omegas will need some form of counseling, and who knows if they will ever be the same again, but Echo’s dad had been unharmed.
They hadn’t had time to talk before we arrived and that family lost the leadership challenge.
Echo nods. “I will call my dad shortly. Our families are going to be so happy, and I can find out everything I need to know. I hadn’t wanted to hope that I would ever be able to have a litter, so I never asked too many questions in case I was ever disappointed.”
Maxsim stands up, and I get a little distracted at the sight of his naked body.
You’d think I’d be weirded out because he’s furry and has a tail and looks a little like Liono from Thundercats, but I am so freaking turned on.
My alien kink is in full force, and I consider staying in the nest for a little longer.
“Sexy, isn’t he?” Echo whispers in my ear.
“God yes,” I sigh, and the two of us giggle like loons.
“Stop it now. I thought you wanted to go see the rest of our family,” Maxsim scolds as he pulls on his loincloth, covering up that magnificent cock. I blow a raspberry and sigh.
“Fine, party pooper.” I push Echo away and look around for the dress Oshan conjured for me. It will do for now despite the hole for a tail that no longer exists.
Maxsim frowns. “What is this party pooper you speak of? I assure you I am a very clean cat and use the facilities.”
I snort, unable to stop the laughter from escaping.
“Of course you are house trained. You wouldn’t be allowed inside if you weren’t.
” They both look very confused, and it’s quite adorable.
I turn to leave the nest, and once again, I’ve fucked up.
“Ah, I don’t suppose one of you can leap out of here with me in your arms?
” I ask, and now it’s their turn to laugh.
“Maxsim can do it,” Echo assures me, and the big cat stalks toward me and scoops me up in his arms. He takes one step and leaps, propelling us up and out of the nest in one smooth jump. He lands softly on top.
“Thanks, big guy,” I tell him, patting his cheek, and he snaps his teeth at my hand, causing me to yank it away. He then winks and gives me a cheeky grin before placing me gently on my feet.
Fuck! I’m a goner for these two. Hook, line, and sinker, or maybe fangs, fur, and claws. Echo follows quickly behind us.
“Come on. I can’t wait to tell the others about our babies.” He hurries ahead of us, and I have to run to catch up.
“Hang on, slow your roll. We should get Link to look you over to confirm everything. God, I hope the others, especially Xavier, aren’t pissed about this. The poor warlock has been waiting so very patiently.”
“I have no doubt that your warlock won’t feel jealous.
I know I would, but he is a reasonable man.
He knows his time is coming, and he knows you are his intimate and that isn’t going to change.
How about Echo and I take a turn helping the others with the kids?
It will be good practice for when our own arrive and give you some time alone with him and the Vilaxian.
All three of you probably need to reconnect,” Maxsim suggests.
Yup, fucking gone. I throw my arms around the big cat and press a searing kiss to his mouth. He startles but wraps his arms around me and returns the kiss with some scorching heat of his own. It’s only Echo’s whimper that has us pulling apart.
“Don’t start that, we’ll never get out of here,” he complains, adjusting himself under his loincloth.
“Okay, but shower first. We reek, and we need to ask Xavier if he can use special cleaning magic to fix the nest or just get rid of everything and start again.”
Echo shakes his head quickly. “No, please, I want to keep them.”
“Cleaning it is, but us first, let’s share a shower. It’s more water efficient that way.” I grab each of them by the hand and drag them back to my room. I really want to know what it’s like to wash them, and if we can squeeze in a quickie, then all the better.
