Chapter 24 #2

“Holy fuck, did you see that?” I ask the two behind me, but they are not even looking at the animal. Both of them are staring at my naked form, with heat and so much more in their animalistic gazes.

“Whoops, sorry, guys. I guess you’ve seen me naked entirely too much on this trip. I’m sorry.” I remove the bag Zamala gave me from the pocket in my dress and bend down to pluck the flower.

It’s so hot I feel the skin on my hand sizzle as I tear it from its stem and carefully place it in the bag so as not to destroy the petals. I can smell my skin burning, but I grit my teeth and bear the pain. If this is what it takes to save my grandparents, then it’s the least I can do for them.

Finally, I close the bag, keeping the precious flower protected.

I’m pleased to see it’s not burning like my hand did.

I look down at the blackened flesh and feel sick when I see the extent of the burn.

It no longer hurts because I have burnt through the nerve layer.

Thankfully I have access to Celestian healing powers, and my hand starts to glow.

I watch with amazement as the skin knits itself back together until it doesn’t even look like anything happened.

I allow the Celestian form to fall away, but I can’t return to the Rilunese one. I’m exhausted, and it’s all I can do to keep myself on my feet as I bend down and wrap the dress around my body.

I can feel the worry from my new friend, and he nudges me a couple of times. When I look up, I notice all of the rest of the animals have returned to their grazing, paying no more attention to me and my companions.

Silac and Tirrian watch me silently before Tirrian gets down on his belly and crawls forward like a cat or a dog.

His large head nudges against my stomach, and I absently scratch between the heavy ridge above his eyes.

They roll back in enjoyment before he shakes his head and nudges me again before exposing his neck to me.

“Oh, you want me to feed from you?” I ask, and he quickly nods. I wrinkle my nose. “Are you sure, dude? Your human self doesn’t like me very much.” He just rolls his eyes and nudges me again.

“Well, okay then. I bet you’re going to taste all funky and blugh.” He frowns like he’s insulted by this, but beggars can’t be choosers, and there is no way we are getting back to the surface with me like this. Shit, I don’t even know how we’re going to get back to the surface.

At this, I feel an insistent tugging in my mind. I know it’s my new friend, so hopefully he’s going to be able to guide us out.

“Okay, let’s just hope my fangs can pierce your hide. It’s not like they are all that big to start with.” He lifts a front claw and points to a spot tucked behind a large flared ridge.

When I run my finger over it, his whole body shivers, and I discover it’s soft and fleshy.

“Okay, yeah, that will work. God, I hope my venom doesn’t cause your dragon to orgasm, because that could make things kind of awkward, not to mention messy,” I mutter, and I feel him chuckle.

When my eyes meet his again, he’s rolling them playfully.

Hopefully that means it won’t. I lean over his huge head as he angles his chin up and away from me, giving me as much room as possible to get to the small space.

Just like human skin, my fangs puncture it like it’s a marshmallow.

Pulling back, I look down to make sure his blood is flowing freely and squeak in surprise when I discover it’s the same pink as his scales.

It’s flowing very fast, so I quickly seal my mouth around it and start to swallow, and I just about orgasm on the spot.

It’s hot, delicious, and spicy, kind of like queso, salsa, and chips.

I guzzle it down, making noises of pleasure as it makes my taste buds sing.

Eventually, I pull back, aware that I’ve taken a decent amount of blood, but I’m feeling fuller than I have since we left Skarr.

Before I can thank Tirrian and seal the holes up, his big ass paw shoves my head back down.

“Drink more, Lila. He can take it,” Silac says from behind me.

I glance up and see he’s in his half form, and I devour him with my eyes as I lean in and drink more.

There’s something kind of erotic about the way Silac is watching me feed from Tirrian.

Beneath his scales, I can see his two cocks writhing like they are trying to push out of his skin.

Jesus, I want to know what they can do, but it’s not to be, so I turn my head back to the dragon and continue to drink.

Despite his surly asshole attitude, he’s done everything possible to keep me safe, and I feel my feelings toward him changing.

Thinking back over the last few days, I realize his actions have actually been the opposite of his words.

He’s looked after me, taken care of my needs, and made sure that I am safe.

That doesn’t seem to be the actions of someone who’s indifferent.

I can’t help but allow myself to start to feel.

I’m so incredibly attracted to him physically, but that is growing now, and feelings are starting to worm their way in.

I try to rein them in and bury them down deep, but I know the minute his dragon flinches and stiffens that my attraction mark has appeared on his big body somewhere.

Damn it. I pull away and seal the holes so they don’t continue to bleed.

Nobody likes rejection, and I know the minute he changes back, something nasty will come out of his mouth.

I almost kind of wish that he will be stuck in dragon form for the near future.

I push his head away and look around the cavern. “Okay, I guess we need to get out of here. I’m sure Xavier is frantic with worry, and if we don’t get moving, I don’t doubt he will tear it down to get to me, and that will not be good for interplanetary relations.”

“Lila,” Silac calls out, but I ignore him.

I can practically feel his question, and I don’t want to face the fact that my attraction marks are now on two men who will never be mine, and worse, my mimic wants them.

She’s wanted them since the moment we set foot on the ship, and there’s been this low-key nagging inside me, but I have enough control now to not take their choice away from them, and they both made their feelings clear on the subject.

Time and distance will make the marks fade, but how can I get that when both of them are constantly in my face and will be as we go forward?

Silac will be near me at least for the next year, and all I can do is hope that Tirrian finds a mate his dragon is happy with and returns to Fluxx to rule the dragons.

“Okay, new friend. How about you show us how to get out of here?” I ask him.

He does this weird growl and prances off across the cavern, pushing past the rest of his herd.

Without turning back to see if they are following, I hurry after him.

My fragile emotions are all over the place—embarrassment, disappointment, and seething jealousy—and to make it even worse, seeing Silac’s writhing cocks beneath his scales has lit a fuse in my body, which had actually been well sated the whole trip.

All of it floods my body, making me feel restless, angry, and desperate for a hug from my warlock.

Actually, truth be told, I need a puppy pile with all my mates.

I don’t think I’m going to be happy until I have them all with me again, and I desperately miss my babies.

It’s like an ache where my heart is, and I know that I never want to be apart from them for so long again.

I also want to heal my grandpa. I’m ready to put this all behind us, and I can’t wait to tell the three of them that their wife is alive.

I have a feeling that they will want to head straight to the planet and break her out, but it’s going to take careful planning, and I promised Xavier we would go to his home planet first. I will not put off having my memories returned any longer, and having the extra powers our intimate bond will give me will surely be an asset when we go to the inhospitable planet where both the plants and animals will eat you.
