4. Empty The Safe #2

To make a grown man blush meant you was a special muthafucka. I smirked and doubled down on the kiss. Her lips were full, soft, and irresistible. Kissing her lowkey made you feel like you was walking on clouds ‘round this bitch.

The kiss was broken, and she entered the condo further.

While doing so, I admired her body from head to toe.

Solenne was stacked from the neck down. Her breast came in as a C-cup and that ass was fatter than a swamp possum with the mumps.

She had thighs that were thick and toned and wrapped around your waist like a glove.

Her body turned heads, but her face kept a nigga locked in.

She was so goddamn pretty, I lowkey wanted to keep her ass under lock and key.

“I got somewhere to be, Ma. You gon’ be aight until I get back?”

Nodding, she continued to the bedroom with me right behind her. She got in bed, turned on the tv, and relaxed. One thing I loved about Sol, she was the calmness to anybody’s storm. She wasn’t loud, ratchet, or annoying. I wasn’t switching up on that for nobody.

Twenty minutes later, I was dressed in all black ready to handle business. I grabbed my keys then placed another kiss on her lips before heading for the door. She stopped me before I could walk out the bedroom completely.

“It’s only seven, D. You got another hour before nightfall. Since when you started doing jobs in the daylight?” she questioned.

“Since 3.2 million dollars was on the table. Plus, by the time I make it to my destination, the sun would’ve been gone down. I know what I’m doing, and you do, too. Don’t start worrying ‘bout a nigga now, aight?”

“It’s not a sudden thing, D. You’ve always been a constant thought… just be careful.”

“Always am, Ma. I’ll handle yo’ luggage when I get home. You ate yet?”

“No, but I’ll have something cooked by the time you get back. It will be tonight, right?”

I nodded and she followed suit.

“Cool. Lock in and come back to me, please. You’re pretty much all I got left, D,” she voiced with nothing but subtle pain on her tongue.

Hearing her say that made me wonder where the hell her crew was.

What I did know was that them damn girls ain’t do shit without the other.

And when I say they were each other’s shadows, you never saw one without the other three up her ass.

I was gon’ visit that statement when I got back, right now, I couldn’t focus on her.

“A nigga gon’ come home to you, you better believe that. My wallet in the drawer. Get my card and do yo’ thing.” She offered another nod letting me know she had some shit on her mind for real. A kiss was placed on her forehead with me saying, “I love you.”

She fixed her mouth to say it back but caught herself. I smirked and walked out the room then condo completely. I knew what it was so she ain’t have to say it. The affection she showed me let me know where I stood with her. My family was all she knew so she was good.

Once I called the elevator, I checked my notifications. Three missed calls from Donnie and one from Dray. I called baby bro’ back first. His was the most important. “How we looking Donnie?”

“Seems like it’s a lil’ family get together. Ain’t nobody dipped out yet. Make sure you bring enough gas,” he advised.

“Will do. Let me hit Dray.”

I hung up and phoned my lil’ brother.

He answered before that first ring could finish. “What’s up, D?”

“I’m on the way. How many bombs you got in the bag?” I inquired stepping onto the elevator. I hit P2 for the second level of the deck where my car was parked.

“Three.”

“Make it six. He got guests over.”

“That’s a bet. Anything else?” he asked.

“Get yo’ mind right. This 3 million dollars and we can’t fuck it up.” I had more than enough funds in my account to live comfortably. However, the thief in me couldn’t let it pass. I needed all that in a nigga’s possession.

“Tell that to yo’ sister. She still tripping.”

“She always is until that money hit her account. She’ll be aight. I’ll be there in twenty.”

When it came to jobs, I tolerated no bullshit. Stick to the muthafuckin’ script, get the fuck in, and get the fuck out. Everything was timed simply ‘cause we was pressed for it. No more than five minutes on house calls and I meant not a second more. Anything was possible to go left afterward.

I checked the throw away Glocks in my lap, handing one off to each of my siblings. Regardless of Deonna being the driver, she was gon’ have some protection. Losing her wasn’t ever gon’ happen, not as long as I had breath in my body.

“Don’t fuck this up. I have no plans on sending a nigga to hell today. When that happens, the heat gets turned up in the kitchen and more than one gets burned. Put these white muthafuckas to sleep, empty the fuckin’ safe, and get yo’ ass back to the car. Am I clear?”

Dray, Deonna, and Donnie were all listening. It was time to work. I needed them on their Ps and Qs with this. Tyler Valorie might’ve not had bodyguards, but he damned sure had twelve on his side. This was an opportunity I couldn’t let pass me by and a lick I couldn’t squander.

“Am I clear?” I shouted when too many seconds ticked and nobody answered.

“Yeah nigga, damn,” Donnie replied.
