Epilogue - Bitch, I’m A Motha!
EPILOGUE - BITCH, I’M A MOTHA!
KASH
Out of everything that life threw my way, I fucked with this motherhood shit.
I mean, being a wife was cool and all, but having my son look up at me with those big bright eyes, I knew this was where I wanted to be and what I needed to center me.
I had so much love for Kashlyn that I would drop any and everybody including his father behind him.
I went through a c-section to have him, and I didn’t regret a thing.
He was that unconditional love I yearned for.
“He so goddamn swagged out. I love this shit mane,” D voiced. He was currently putting our son in the car.
For some reason, lil’ Kash made him softer but more protective than before. It wasn’t a soul who could look our way without my husband ready to put them down. He did not play that bullshit when it came to us.
“He is only a few months old baby. He wears onesies and sleepers for a living. Swag where?” I questioned lowkey picking at him.
“Tell yo’ mama to mind her business, lil’ Kash. As long as yo’ daddy paying for everything, you gon’ stay swagged up. You may look like her, but you get yo’ style from yo’ pops,” he carried on.
Shaking my head, I chuckled and patiently waited for him to join me in the front.
Once he was back upfront, he buckled up and pulled out.
We hit the main highway with the music blasting.
Ever since I gave this man my hand, he ain’t let big mama lift a finger.
He was the man he said he was and exactly who I needed him to be.
As we got ready to get off on our exit, we were cut off by a black SUV. The swerve that D had to make to keep from hitting that nigga pissed me clean off.
Declan went to slow down when I shouted, “Hell no. Follow him!”
“Nah, we got the baby in the car.”
“I’m telling you now D, if you don’t follow that gumby ass nigga, it’s gon’ be problems between you and me,” I threatened. Pleasing his wife was his only goal. So, like a good man, he honored my wishes.
The pedal was to the floor, and we were catching up to the vehicle that almost caused us to wreck.
Once we were directly behind them, I removed the Glock from the glove compartment, rolled the window down, and put two hot ones in his back tire.
It was his turn to swerve out of control. I took this motherhood shit serious.
D sped off taking the very next exit to get the attention off us. I calmly put the gun back where I found it and sipped on my drink from Longhorn. I was satisfied.
“Aye, what the fuck is wrong with you, Ma? Why the fuck would you do that with our son in the car?” he shouted.
“That’s exactly why I did it. My fuckin’ son is in this muthafucka and if something would’ve happened to him, I promise you Magnolia Valley wouldn’t get no sleep. I’m not playing ‘bout you and I’m fa damn sho’ not playing ‘bout him. Now, take us home before I catch a charge for real.”
He stared at me for what seemed like an eternity before pulling off. I said what the fuck I said. Rose taught me to stand firm in everything I believed in, and I’d be damned if I did anything else but that.
THE END…
But these ladies aren’t done yet. Up Next…
