Chapter 21

TWENTY-ONE

JADA

I’m surprised I was able to walk over to the bathroom after the way I came.

Good lord. He knocked something loose in my brain and my pussy, and I don’t think I can put it back the way it was.

I take a second to breathe and look through my toiletries. It’s an old one I used when I would go over to Troy’s place, so I used to keep condoms in there. I find one, but it’s expired, so I toss it.

I walk back out and find Ash on the bed, still watching me. The rush I get from the way his eyes trail me up and down isn’t like anything I’ve ever experienced before. Like I’m the hottest woman on earth. Me.

Not that I think I’m unattractive, but this is a whole new tier of eye-fucking that I’ve never experienced. It obliterates any shred of self-consciousness I might have had lying around in the back in my mind.

The fact that he’s naked gets rid of the rest of my thoughts. I felt his cock through his clothes, but seeing it, his hand loosely gripping it at its base? I’m keeping this mental image forever.

“I don’t have a condom,” he says, shaking me out of my stupor. Was I just gawking at him? He didn’t seem to mind.

“I don’t either. I went to check.” I climb back on the bed and he pulls me close. “I have an IUD, but…”

“It’s completely fine, Jada.” His callused fingers skim the side of my breast, sending shivers all over my body. “We can get up to plenty of trouble either way.”

I let myself touch him, running my hands over his chest and down his abs along tattoos I haven’t seen before.

“Wait. Where are the dumb ones?” I ask before I can hold myself back.

Ash laughs. “I was planning on hiding them forever.”

I scoot back so I can get a better look. He has a few along the ridge of muscle leading to his cock. They’re pretty low quality, but not necessarily stupid. It’s just random little tattoos without much order.

“These aren’t that bad,” I say.

He sighs and scoots away from me, turning his back. My eyes trail down to the perfect, muscled roundness of his ass and oh. There are only two, one on each cheek, but they’re both memes that blew past the trend cycle in record time.

“Oh, never mind, those are ridiculous,” I say, ugly snorting. He starts to roll over again. “Oh my god. Wait, why can’t I get a closer look?”

“Because you’ve seen everything you need to see.” He grins. “Those aren’t Berta’s fault, by the way.”

“Of course not. She has taste.” I can’t stop giggling. “How did you get those?”

“Some guy at a party with a tattoo gun. It’s a miracle they didn’t get infected.” He holds me close again, which calms my laughter and makes my pussy ache. “Why don’t we get back to the trouble we could be getting in instead of looking at my terrible decisions?”

He ends the conversation and my next line of questioning with a deep kiss. His cock twitches against my belly, and I lightly grind against it. The groan he lets out makes me ache. I want him to fill me, but not today.

Instead, I grip his cock in my hand and slowly start stroking him. His whole body shudders in a way that makes me bold. I kiss down his chest, along each tattoo, and take him into my mouth.

Usually this is just a pit stop on the way to penetration, but since that’s off the table today, I want to impress him.

It’s been a long time since I’ve done this, but I get back in the groove of it with his encouragement and moans.

“Your fucking mouth,” he says as I skim my lips underneath the tip. “So gorgeous.”

I take him deeper and his chest heaves with every breath. He’s so responsive to every single move I make. I hardly have to guess the way I have in the past, when my ex would just lie there.

“Come up here. Turn around. Sit,” he says, gesturing at his face.

I do as he asks and awkwardly climb over him. At least I don’t knee him in the face. I feel very, very exposed. But I’m also so wet that I’m sure I’m dripping on his face already.

“You’re seeing a whole lot of me—oh.” He devours me and once again rids my brain of thought for a moment.

It’s a rarity, feeling like my mental slate is clear, and I savor it as much as he’s savoring my pussy.

He nails it – he’s not overstimulating me or making me wonder what he’s even doing.

I’m so lost in every swipe of his tongue and blast of warm breath against my center that I forget we switched positions so I could continue sucking him off.

I swipe my tongue over his tip and his fingers dig into my hips.

“Going to lose it fucking fast again,” he says, his voice muffled. “You taste so fucking good.”

I clench around nothing, taking his cock to the back of my throat the way I wish he were bottoming out in me.

His fingers slide inside of me and that’s all it takes for me to break.

I buck against his face, my whole body tensing with the waves.

I keep him in the back of my throat as I moan, which makes him swear and come, hard.

His hips jerk, and by some miracle, I don’t choke.

He murmurs something I can’t understand once I’ve slid off of him. “So good. C’mere.”

“Hm?” I crawl up next to him.

“Later,” he says, rolling us over so we’re spooning. “It’s late.”

We both pass out before we can say more.

Waking up in his arms and not immediately feeling the urge to launch myself away from him is a relief. I let myself savor the feeling of him pressed against me, all that bed-warm skin, and softly sigh.

“Did I wake you?” he asks.

“Hm?” I turn my head and cringe when my hair scratches against the cotton pillowcase—I forgot to put on my bonnet last night. “No.”

“Good.” He rolls away and I hear something drop onto his bedside table. “My phone is blowing up. Someone posted a video of me performing last night and it’s doing numbers.”

“Oh shit, really?”

“Yeah.” He rolls onto his back again and stares at the ceiling. “In retrospect, maybe I shouldn’t have said that shit about the song. I bet we’ll get a call from our lawyer about it.”

“But it’s true. Doesn’t that count for something?” I ask.

I hadn’t expected him to do what he did, but I’m proud that he felt he could. Once the dam cracked from telling me about what really happened to him, more came out, too.

“I hope so.” He runs a hand over his face.

“It’ll be okay,” I say, even though I don’t know if that’s true.

But it feels right. A lot of this—me, next to him in bed, naked and sated—feels right. Like we’re going in a positive direction even though it’s the last direction that I thought we’d ever go in.

He hasn’t outright said that he has feelings for me, but I can tell there’s more there than lust.

But we’re already married. Where do we even go from here?

His mind is still on his legal troubles, so I keep the worries to myself for now. It’s future Jada’s problem, and current Jada wants to cuddle before we’re forced to deal with reality.
