Chapter 4 #2

When the back of her knees hit the mattress, Luna sat down slowly without breaking the kiss.

Rocco followed immediately, standing between her legs while her hands moved up his chest underneath his T-shirt.

The man was solid everywhere. He was strong in a way that should have been intimidating, but with her, he acted like restraint was stitched into his bones.

“You’re thinking again,” he murmured against her mouth.

Luna blinked up at him. “How do you know that?”

“You get quieter,” he said. Damn him for noticing things. She stood, letting her fingers slide into the back of his hair gently, holding him there. “I’m trying to figure you out.”

“That sounds dangerous,” he warned.

“It probably is,” she agreed. Rocco kissed her forehead unexpectedly, and the tenderness of it nearly undid her completely.

No one would look at this man and assume he could be gentle, but Luna knew better now.

She had seen the careful way he touched her.

The way he always gave her space to choose what she wanted next from him, and the way he checked her reactions without making it obvious.

Maybe that was why she trusted him so easily, because under all that strength, Rocco was careful with people’s hearts—including hers.

That realization scared her enough that she kissed him harder to stop herself from thinking about it too much.

Rocco made a low sound in his throat before his hands slid slowly up her sides, pushing her tank top higher inch by inch.

He paused afterward, his eyes lifting to hers, as though silently asking permission.

Luna nodded, and that was all he needed.

The shirt disappeared moments later, tossed somewhere onto the floor while his gaze dragged slowly over her like he was trying not to stare too hard.

“You’re beautiful,” he said quietly. He wasn’t giving her a smooth line, and somehow that affected her more than any practiced line ever could.

Luna reached for the hem of his shirt immediately. “Fair’s fair.” His mouth twitched slightly before he pulled it off, and yeah, her brain stopped functioning for a second. Boxing had definitely been good to him and his body.

“You’re staring now,” he teased quietly.

“Shut up,” she drawled, running her hands over his torso.

Rocco laughed softly before kissing her again, easing her backward onto the mattress, and this time, he followed her down.

The weight of him above her should have felt overwhelming.

Instead, it felt right, like being held together instead of pinned down.

Luna’s fingers traced over the tattoo on his shoulder while his mouth moved along her jaw and neck slowly enough to make her shiver.

Every touch felt deliberate, every kiss felt like he meant it, and maybe that was what finally broke through the last of her defenses.

It wasn’t the physical attraction or the chemistry; it was the way he looked at her like she mattered.

Her hands slid over his back as she pulled him closer, needing more of him everywhere. Rocco lifted his head immediately, eyes dark and focused entirely on her. “You okay?” he asked softly.

The concern in his voice nearly shattered her. Luna smiled faintly, brushing her fingers along his jaw. “Yeah.”

His forehead rested against hers for a second.

“Tell me if anything changes.” God. How was this man real?

Instead of answering, Luna kissed him again and pulled him back down with her because she was done talking.

She was done thinking and done pretending she wasn’t already falling for him harder than she should.

Judging by the way Rocco held her like he never wanted to let go of her, she had a feeling he was falling too.

“I have condoms in my gym bag,” he offered.

“I’m on the pill,” she whispered, “and I’m clean.” She had never really had a conversation like this with a man during sex. Usually, she didn’t jump into bed with a man after only two dates, and things like birth control were usually discussed beforehand.

“Are you sure?” he asked. “I’m clean too, but I want you to be sure about this, honey.” That little term of endearment made her heart stutter.

She smiled at him. “I like that,” she said.

“Like what?” he asked.

“I like the way that you called me, ‘Honey’. And we don’t need a condom, if you’re okay with that,” she said. He nodded, not saying anything, and she worried that she had done or said something wrong. “Rocco,” she breathed. “Are you all right?”

He nodded again, “I just need a second. I’ve never had sex without using a condom, and the thought of you being the first woman I’m doing that with had me nearly losing it before we even got started.”

She wrapped her legs around him, tugging him closer. “We have all night,” she offered, “no need to rush.”

“Good,” he growled. Rocco kissed his way down her body, settling between her legs. “Then I have time to do this,” he breathed against her drenched folds. “You’re already so wet for me, honey,” he said.

“Rocco,” she said his name like she was begging him for something.

Luna just didn’t know if she was begging him to stop or to keep going.

He didn’t wait for her to decide either.

He licked through her pussy like a starving man, and when he sucked her clit into his warm mouth, she nearly bucked off the bed.

Rocco held her down, placing his big hands on her thighs as he ate her, driving her completely over the edge.

Her body felt as though it was on fire as she shamelessly rode his mouth, taking everything that he was giving her, and so much more.

“I’m going to come,” she shouted.

“Good,” he said against her pussy. The vibrations from just that word send shock waves through her body, and Luna let go.

She cried out his name, and he wrapped his arms around her thighs, holding her tighter, not stopping.

He gave her two more orgasms before letting her go.

Luna couldn’t seem to get the words out as he kissed his way back up her body.

She wanted to tell him that what he had just done to her was amazing, but all she could do was whisper his name again.

“Rocco,” she breathed. He covered her body with his, and when he looked down at her, giving her one more chance to tell him to stop, she couldn’t help but nod. She wanted to feel him inside of her more than she wanted her next breath.

He lined up his cock with her pussy and filled her with one thrust. Rocco went still as he groaned out his pleasure. “Shit, you feel so fucking amazing,” he whispered.

“God, I feel so full,” she breathed. “Please, Rocco, don’t stop.

” He pulled free from her body and slammed back into her.

He wasn’t holding back with her now, and she loved every second of the way that he pumped in and out of her body.

He was taking what she was willing to give him and not letting up.

“I’m not going to last,” he breathed. “I want you with me, honey. Can you touch yourself?” She looked at him as though he had lost his mind.

“What?” she asked.

“Touch your clit and get off with me, honey,” he ordered. She could tell that he was holding back, and there was no way that she wouldn’t do as he asked. She had just never done that in front of anyone else before.

“Please,” he begged. That one word plea had her snaking her hand down between their joined bodies to stroke her clit. She moaned at how good it felt. “That’s right, honey,” he said, his voice hoarse with need. “Come with me.” God, dirty-talking Rocco was going to be her undoing.

Luna rode his cock and her fingers as she found her release again, shouting out his name. Rocco pumped in and out of her body, setting a furious pace, and when he came, he breathed her name like a prayer on his lips.

Rocco collapsed on top of her, and she wrapped her arms around his body. “Am I crushing you?” he asked.

“Yes, but I like it,” she said. He chuckled and rolled off her, tugging her into his body and pulling the quilt up over them.

“I’m staying the night,” he said. He wasn’t asking, and that worked for her because the thought of him leaving now did strange things to her heart.

“Good,” she said around a yawn. Luna snuggled against his body, feeling safe and wanted for the first time in a damn long time.

She knew that Rocco had her whole heart now, whether he knew it or not, and that thought scared the hell out of her.

Because giving him her heart might get her hurt, but for some reason, she just didn’t care.
