LIZ
They came for me.
We'd driven back to the villa that we're apparently staying at for the next two nights.
I'd asked to make sure they weren't pushing limits on schedules and Seong Su had promised me he had everything under control.
I'd pulled him to the side afterward and told him that I'm here if he ever needed someone to carry the load for a while.
That beautiful smile from him was worth a thousand times of offering. He'd thanked me and kissed me.
Everyone kind of disappears after dinner, probably tired from their schedule on top of all the drama.
It's how I find myself standing alone at the sliding glass door at the back of the house looking out toward the pool and the sunset.
At first, I'm so enamored with the colors in the sky that I don't notice the two bodies hanging on the edge of the pool also looking at the same thing as they talk.
Walking to the room I'm sharing with Kyung, I grab my bikini out and slip it on before quietly letting myself outside and joining them in the pool.
They don't even notice until the small wave my approach makes laps against their backs.
They both turn their chins to the side to look at me.
I press a kiss to Kyung's shoulder, leaving my hand there as I lean over to press a kiss and then my cheek against Yeon's.
They carry on their conversation as I space out just enjoying their company as the sun goes down. When the first set of stars pokes their heads out of the clouds, Yeon shivers, getting chill bumps.
"I think I'm done," he says softly, turning and pulling me into his arms. He kisses me as gently as his voice before releasing me and making sure Kyung's arm has me before leaving us alone in the pool.
I wrap myself around Kyung, clinging to him. He maneuvers our bodies around until I'm pressed against the side of the pool, him looking down at me.
There's still a bit of sadness around his eyes, and I hate myself for putting it there. I can’t go back and change the past, but I can make sure that I’m not the reason it’s ever there again.
He drops his forehead to mine as he murmurs, "Whatever you're thinking right now, stop it. I understand why you left. I would've done the same to protect the people that I love. Make no mistake, my Lizzy, I love you more than the moon and the stars combined."
"I love you, Kyung," I whisper against his lips with the stars as my witness.
No matter how crazy things get with GR8VITY, these men will always have my heart. That will get us through anything.
