Chapter 6
Ginny
There is something so joyful about running through the rain. And there must be something in the air up here because I've been feeling reckless ever since the cabin door opened to reveal Magnus standing there looking grumpy.
Falling on my ass is the last thing I want to do, but that is what makes it so funny.
This whole situation is crazy. Of all the doors to knock on, Magnus is tall, handsome, sexy.
Green eyes and a chiseled jaw line. Longer dark brown hair that looks like he hasn’t had a proper hair cut in years, but on him it works.
Adding to the wild mountain man image. If it wasn’t for that hair and the grumpy stare, he could be in a magazine or be a famous actor with a face that pretty.
But more than his looks, it is exciting talking to Magnus.
He has a kind gentle side to him that he tries to hide with all his gruffness.
A little rough around the edges. But arguing with him has my heart racing.
Much more exciting than talking to some older professor where I would just nod along with his ideas.
Arguing with Magnus is helping me form my own ideas about happiness.
And physical happiness? Well, I’ve been feeling everyone of those symptoms.
When he pulls me up from the ground, I can feel the heat coming off his body.
Even in the rain I can pick up his scent.
Much better on him than on the sweater. But it is those eyes that have me frozen in one place.
Leaning in to be kissed by him. And oh my!
!! It feels like floating. Made more magical by the rain.
The world could fall apart and I don’t care.
All I need is his mouth on mine, his arms around me. His touch. This muscular, strong body.
“I think we better get in the shower.” His voice is a deep, sexy hum against my ear.
“We’re not in the shower now?” I ask with a grin.
And then he smiles. Like seeing a baby fawn duck out from behind a tree. I realize it’s the first time I’ve seen him really smile and it makes my stomach do a little flippy thing.
I want to reach out and touch his face, but he picks me up and with a half giggle, half squeal - carries me inside. Cradling me against his chest, he walks me through to the bathroom.
Weightless in his arms.
He drops my legs and I slide down his body till my feet touch the ground.
He whips off his top. Sweater and t-shirt in one go.
Then kicking off his boots as I take in the sight before me.
I knew he had a broad chest, wide shoulders.
I sensed there was muscle. But this is….
breathtaking. Hard ridges of muscle I want to reach out and touch.
His skin golden brown from days spent in the sun.
I watch as he leans in and turns the shower on. Then he looks at me and I feel like a bit of an idiot for just standing there watching him. But he grins, taking the button of my sweater, pulling it up over my head, over my raised arms, before tossing it on the floor. Next is my t-shirt.
I undo my bra. Letting it fall down my front.
“Oh my.” The words slip from his mouth as he looks at me with appreciation.
Grabbing me, pulling me close. His kiss is urgent.
One hand on my back, warm against my skin.
The other coming up to stroke against the side of my breast. Then cupping it, feeling the weight in his hand.
Squeezing. His thumb strokes across my already puckered nipple as he kisses me hard.
Then his hands are at my trousers. We are grinning and laughing and kissing as he undoes the buttons and pushes downwards.
Hooking his thumbs in my panties. I step out of the pile of clothes.
Naked. Normally I am shy about my body. My tummy.
My thick thighs. But he looks at me as though I am beautiful.
And up here in a log cabin with a stranger, what the hey.
I came searching for happiness. Maybe this counts as research. The thought makes me grin.
“Fuck me, you are glorious.” He whispers the words. And then with a yelp he picks me up once more to deposit me in the shower under the warm running water. Watching me with those sexy green eyes as I put my face up to let the water stream over me.
It’s not long till he joins me. The feel of the warm water is nice. But I would much rather be touching his body.
